eli's done, he is no longer competing for his team, no longer willing to take hits to deliver strikes.
He routinely talks about making all the throws, and that part is true. Payton hell maybe even brett favre can still make all the throws, but they left the game because they couldn't take the hits anymore.
Eli says he still wants to play, but his body says something else.

Big, strong, and such a pretty and efficient throwing motion. Really smooth, just couldnt do it at the next level. Atleast yet.
Yeah, but the crazy thing is that some of these throws are well contested. He has an upside. Maybe he should have spent some time under a skilled veteran instead of being a starter.

@@chocolatetownforever7537 yeah. Rosen is actually insanely accurate. But has to have a clean pocket. Clean pockets don’t exist in the nfl. He is a qb who is really great if you give him a game plan but like Tyson said … everybody has a plan until…you know the rest.
Josh is superior in talent to any of the quarterbacks on the Niners Jimmy included. Maybe a fresh start on a good team coached by Kyle Shanahan could ignite his career.
Watching these clips really baffles me how this guy hasn’t become something yet. These are NFL caliber throws. He looked lethal from the pocket. Guess it just goes to show how important a young quarterbacks supporting cast is

I think it was a confidence thing with him. Some players can bounce back from a bunch of bad games with no talent around them. Others get crushed mentally by it. He had the tools to at LEAST be a diet-Tannehill or something. The fact that he was out of the league so quick tells me he didnt have the right stuff in the head.
Miami Dolphins were in perfect position to take Rosen it would only costed them a 3rd round pick and He could of sat behind Tannehill for a year and beefed up learned the offense. But that means you pass on Minkah and Jerome Baker not as big deal but he does fill a need, but you still get your top TE Gesicki who would be Rosen's top target.
9 months later and you got minkah,gesiki, and Rosen for basically a 3rd round pick. You called it.

I’m thrilled 😁 that my Cardinals finally drafted a quarterback. This was definitely the year to draft a quarterback, as there was quite a bit of depth and talent at the QB position. There were 5 1st round quarterbacks, then there were 8 more quarterbacks taken after the 1st round-13 overall.

Arizona was probably the worst possible position he could've been in. I feel if he had more time to throw and make decisions in the pocket things could be very different.
It’s too bad. Every once in a while you see these QBs with no red flags and good college careers that turn into hot garbage at the next level
Usually the players with red flags work out cause their draft stock falls and they get drafted to better teams and they play with house money
