Thank you for making this vid. I’ve always wondered what kind of difference there was
Glad I was able to help. Thanks for watching.
I'm more interested in a comparison against the 3.0 compact battery.
I currently don't have the 3.0 battery but will see what I can do.
I have all of them. When I have time, I can try to do a comparison
2.5 HO are better than 3 and 4 or the 5 HO.
1.5 and 3.0s are the one m12 battery I woudnt buy. They have cheaper batteries inside
I have the 2.0 co 3.0 cp and 4-6 XC I HAVEN'T FOUND A SIGNIFICANT GAIN TO JUSTIFY THE COST!! My 3.0 cp beats the 2.0 just the same so I'd be interested in cp 3.0 vs 2.5 and 5.0 vs 6.0
I will do follow up comparison with the 3.0 and 5.0 in the coming weeks. Thanks for watching.
Would the m12 brushed screwdriver see any gain from a H.O Batt or just the fuel gets the gains?
The one thing you may notice differently is how long the battery last as that is one of the advantages of the brushless vs brushed motor. However, in regard to power differences between the 2 batteries you should see very similar results on the M12 brushed screwdriver as well.
@@TeamDIYNow thanks! Yes here at Home Depot Canada the only model available is the brushed single speed version sadly. Yes the brushless/fuel is much better in terms of longevity and performance. What it can’t do my M18 will do. Hope my M18 last longer then the dewalt 20v XR drill/ impact lasted!

@@Recon98789i have had the brushless fuel screwdriver for years and i love that thing. I got it from home Depot in a hard case and 2 batteries
The 2.5 is so much better. It lasts twice as long in my 1/4" ratchet
I agree, ever since I got these 2.5 I use them for everything. The only time I use the 2.0 anymore is for my flashlight.
