Repairing Daikin J1 Error

In this video I repair a Daikin Air Conditioner (Model: RZQ71KBV4A) which had a J1 Fault Code flashing on the wall controller.
J1 indicates that the high pressure sensor/transducer is not registering. It can be caused by a faulty pressure sensor or alternatively a faulty outdoor PCB. In this case, neither of those things were faulty, however the cable for the pressure sensor was completely broken. To rectify the issue, I simply repaired the cable.
Cheap and easy fix.

You are a genuine repairman.
I was also worried about the pressure sensor.
It was actually a low-pressure sensor.
There was a difference between the detection of the sensor and the actual pressure.
It was an example that it didn't get cold.

Good work mate but you don't need to reclaim the refrigerant to replace these as theres a mushroom valve there that put pressure against the pressure sensor and according to Daikin, refrigerant will not leak out when removing this sensor.(doing one next week, sensor is open circuit, see how I go.)

Oh really that’s good to know. This is the only time iv come across a J1 error to be honest. Let me know if Daikins advice is correct haha.
