    This outdoor Mitsubishi AC is my childhood because my grandfather in Botswana, Africa used to have it for his living room.

    I love this content mate, I am a mature age student looking to start my HVAC apprenticeship in WA, and your videos are a great insight into the industry in Australia. I'd love to see a tool breakdown sometime!

    Mitchel, a nice neat job as usual, and that spirit level bubble was spot on viewing it from The misty Southern Highlands 😉 👍

    Why you don't use stainless steel bracket ?.

    • @maracservices
      @maracservices  Před 28 dny

      @@sontungle2641 these galvanised brackets are much stronger than the powder coated fold down style brackets. The only stainless steel brackets I’ve seen at the wholesalers are the fold down style. I prefer the galvanised ones personally. Cheers mate

    are parts for mini splits less expensive over there? these things are a nightmare in the states. replacing a board can easily cost close to what the entire unit cost

      @@dylb8801 I’m still using my 14 year old RIDGID mate. This thing is still going strong. I wouldn’t mind getting a battery powered flare tool at some point though

      @@maracservices yeah nice! Ratchet or manual? I've read in a few reviews the ridgid ratchet are falling apart in the mechanism

    Don't Daikin specify more room between the wall & the outdoor unit then what you have there, it could just be the camera lens giving the effect of it being closer then it actually is too 🤔

    • @maracservices
      @maracservices  Před 2 měsíci

      @@adamcoffee738 you’re actually the second person to make this comment lately but I can tell you it’s definitely fine. Daikin want a minimum of 150mm which all my units are over that 100%.
      I film with a fisheye lense so everything is out of proportion. Cheers

      here more issues that it is the corner of the house with lots of buses around. It is probably fine, but I would rather choose an area more open. But in many situations it is not possible to do. I would trim here some bushes around though.

    The electrical install looks sweet. I'm an electrician and could not have come up with a better solution. Rigid conduit to protect the wire, proper isolator switch.
    Your electrical installs always look better than what the previous guys did are you or were you an electrician by any chance?

    • @ryandalzell3467
      @ryandalzell3467 Před měsícem

      Should always take conduit from bottom of isolator when outside
