Can't blame Frank for being pissed, the team was expected to be a contender early on, and were dead last in the NHL. They really needed a miracle to turn it around to even make the playoffs!

I think this season really showcased what it really feels like to "bleed blue". From being there during the lows, to the feeling of absolute elation after having turned the season around amd finally winning it all, is something that can only be explained with the tears in my eyes. I absolutely adore this team.
This win wasn't just for current gen Blues fans. It was for the fans who are no longer here. This was the hockey equivalent of the Cubs 2016 WS run in a way
Aaron Santini This was my first year of watching hockey and because I’m not from the US one of my friends told me to support the Blues (because he did) when the season starts. I didn’t solely watch the Blues in the beginning but even though they weren’t great I still really enjoyed watching them. I was on the edge of my seat watching the replays the morning after the games (I couldn’t watch them live because of timezone). This win felt good for me. I screamed when the clock hit zero. I may not have been there through all of the years of pain, so if I was excited I can only imagine how it was for longtime Blues fans.
This is a great piece, well done. Has anyone checked to see if Brett Hull is still alive after that banger of a party? Lol. So happy for these guys. Grew up a Pens fan in PA but the Blues have been my second favorite team since the 90’s (Hull, Pronger, MacInnis, the Great One, come on) What a story and a legendary run that this team pulled off. Best part of 2019
St Louis has one of the best fan bases in the world. They deserve a football team. And also there teams are great at comebacks and winning the championship. Just look at the cards 2011 season and this season for the blues. On of the best sports city’s in the world hands down.
The Blues proved this was no fluke the following year. Best in the West without Tarasenko. Tarasenko is now back and ready for 2020 if they ever get the playoffs started. Could be a Blues versus Bruins rematch.

KMOX, the radio station that carries the Cardinal's Baseball games in St. Louis, actually broadcasted Cardinal's pre-season games in place of the Blues during the 12 game winning streak. (Karma played a roll when the Blues announced that KMOX would no longer be carrying the Blues starting in the 2020 season.) Then, as the final insult, KSDK cut away from the Stanley Cup Rally broadcast when the players took the stage under the Arch. They thought a golf game was of more interest to the St. Louis viewers. So when KSDK posts a video such as this, I can't help but think what hypocrites the sports department at KSDK and KMOX are. Oh, well. Their loss. Let's Go Blues.
I feel so bad for jake Allen, it must’ve sucked to lead the team to be the worst team in the nhl and then watch this new guy come in and take over the show and win the cup
He conducted himself well and got to lift the Cup. Now he gets to be a competent back up which is what he is pretty much. Lol. I’ve seen him play incredible at times though
Eric Brewer Guitar honestly he can be a decent 1a type goalie. You just need a 1b type goalie to pair with him. He’s not a pure starter. He had a rough start to the year but so did the whole team. He didn’t really let up a lot of weak goalies but also didn’t make the saves that would keep us in games like Binnington did. Allen is a solid goalie and I think he was a great team player this year. He was always there cheering on Binnington and helping mentor him behind the scenes. It’s the reason why Binnington got pretty good at playing the puck.
What's crazy is that 2019 was the year that the Stanley Cup, NBA and World Series champs were all underdogs. Philly somewhat had something to do with all 3 (NHL: The song "Gloria" played right before a Blues game against the Flyers, NBA: The Finals MVP made the buzzer beater against the Sixers, MLB: Bryce Harper signing with the Phillies led to the signings DC needed to get)
LMAO at Kenny Albert blowing the WCF-winning call: "For the first time in THIRTY-NINE years, the St. Louis Blues are going to the Stanley Cup Final!" Er, FORTY-nine years, Kenny. *49* Moot point now, I grant you.
