5:34 As someone who was in Busch stadium yesterday, based on the amount of rain that clip would’ve been after the second goal. I’ve been to Cardinals playoff games where the stadium is packed with 45,000 people and the 25,000 there yesterday made just as much noise. It was unreal. This city is a sports city, not only a baseball city. The cooperation between the cardinals and blues is incredible as well. No other professional sports team would’ve opened their stadium the way the cardinals did for the blues fans last night. It was an amazing experience I’ll never forget and just a little cherry on top that all the ticket proceeds went to charity.
@Mr. Man MLS is reportedly coming to STL but we will see.
Can I just add that a huge reason for the St. Louis fan base is the parents who grew up seeing the 1967-70 Blues took kids like me to games since the 90's and we're life long fans now too as adults.
Congrats!! From a Detroit Red Wings fan...we waited 42 years...can't imagine another decade of waiting Blues had to endure. Worst to first is a GREAT story!!
Thank you Blues, just a great story. Thanks for finishing bruins, from a Canucks fan.
From a Blues fan, we respect the hell out of the Canucks. You should have beaten them in 2011 and New York in 1994. God knows you’ve owned us a few times. Bure was the most dynamic player in history!
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
@@jeremyvincent3151 lets not forget about the sedin twins they had amazing careers and will be named in the hall of fame
Sorry to hear you a canucks fan
@@jeremyvincent3151 The Canucks were NOT supposed to win against NY, or Bruins in 2011! Not profitable for the NHL.
so happy for Bozak , from a Leafs fan
Bozak, Steen, gunnarson! Also I hope ror helps you guys this postseason
From the Leafs Nation: Thank you St. Louis Blues for Kicking Boston Bruins' Ass! Bozak raising the cup is just surreal! Feels like the Leafs won the Cup, too. St. Louis Blues proved and showed how you win a Cup. It takes teamwork, sacrifice, and selfless play. You don't need big egos, $12 million dollar players, and analytics. You need good people, hard working people, people with heart, people willing to lay the body, block shots, and have commitment to the team system. That's why Hockey is the best sport because the team that wins the Cup is not always the team with the best players or the most money....the smallest teams with the smallest payrolls win the Cup....it shows you more than any other sport what a TEAM GAME is all about.
Pens fan and most importantly fan of the sport of hockey. Congrats on your cup! Thank You for beating Boston! Well deserved and long overdue parade for you guys on Saturday! Enjoy! ROR is a stud! One of the most underrated players in the league.
‘Channeling their inner Alex Ovechkin.’ I would die if I tried to party like he did
So happy for our Blues ! What a dream story this is !
Blues were the team of Destiny this season and I said that months ago. I kept getting told they won't win the Stanley Cup by other people but the BLUES WON the STANLEY CUP!
Congratulations to the St. Louis Blues on winning their first Stanley Cup. Well done and bravo to them. This was a great series. Hats off to Boston too.
Have a wonderful summer everyone. We will see you next year. 🙂🏒🏒🏒🏆🏆🏆🐻👏👏👏
A movie will be made guaranteed
The Blues were in last place in January.
Analytics super-nerds would have tanked the season for a better draft pick.
Instead, they're champions.
Tanking is for losers.
Quite Literally
Idk they were an anomaly, chemistry wasn't right so that's why they found themselves last. The roster didn't reflect the positionm
Classic grit
Yep I always hate when people say that like no fight for it why would you just give up
Those games in hand didn’t hurt.
The last place thing is overplayed.
Down here in st louis we are having the time of our lives thank you blues for a PERFECT season !!!!!!
JustinPeabody hi Peabody. It’s brittany and I found you in the comments.
@@brittanyb1927 hey brittany, how are you, how have you been sweetheart ????
I don’t think the real Justin would ever call me sweetheart. This is obviously an imposter Justin.
@@brittanyb1927 excuse me ????
Something that I think gets overlooked with the Blues is Doug Armstrong. People were literally screaming and spamming social media to trade Tarasenko, Pietrangelo, etc. He had a team meeting in December and said he was keeping everyone where they were and believed in that group. Less than a month later with Berube at the helm this team lit a fire that never went out.
Yes, agree. Props to Stillman and th he ownership group. Gotta remember the 80s Blues had uber cheap ownership(pointing my finger at u Harry Ornest). Ho w many players would go onto greatness after being drafted then traded cuz management wouldn't pay them? J Mullen, R Brind'amour, it's a long list.
Clad to hear Prongs talk .Mise the big guy.Got his rookie card with whalers. Great player and good man. Good to hear from you Pronger.
First western team to win since 2015
Matty Well Pittsburgh had to win twice 16/17 or else I believe San Jose would ha e got it in 2016 but couldn’t get it done and then Nashville and Vegas didn’t stand a chance
Congrats Blues!! I loved it when they won 3 games on Bruins home ice!! I can’t stop smiling today!! A friend came over today and said to me you look so happy!! Did I miss something?? I said... I SAID OHHH YESSS!! Those dirty Bruins lost in their building!! They were crying about it!! No pity for them!! CRY ME A RIVER!!
Except St Louis is a lot dirtier than Bruins. But whatever
@@tobiasahlstrom4322 it takes one to know one! Marchand and the Bruins are very dirty too!
I agree Kula!
Next Disney movie 🍿
2:22 - I love this picture soo much
Bud Light I bet tastes like Dom out of that big silver mug in Maroon's lap there.
Mike Yeo has probably been staring in a mirror questioning himself
Sipping water angrily
I'm just here to appreciate something that isn't Raptors talk.
Bring Tim and Sid back.
Did anyone notice that not one car was burned. No one hurt! Can you say that about any other city? We love our Blues we love our city!!!
St. Louis has a classy fanbase. This and the 2011 Cardinals are some of the finest celebrations that I've ever seen.
2:22 love that! they were robbed of a few more at the awards, but ahhh..the cup is ours!
Was Chris Pronger taking a piss when he was making this call? Lmao
buzzerbeater37 he was sitting down
LMAO prongs is one of my favorites ever and your comment is gold
Only 18 teams have won the cup in 50 years. and 6 of them once. Your stat for the day. lol
Is that really true if it is i learned something to today
@@andrewprokawski9840 never checked to be sure. But let's consider the overall scenario: Montreal had likely more than 10. 70's and 80's alone they had 7 or 8.
We had the Islanders and Oilers' dynasties. Red Wings, Blackhawks and Penguins with multiple cups. That is likely to be true
0:54 don't feel bad Chris, that place has had 4 names in its history (Kiel, Scottrade, Savvis, Enterprise), it's hard to keep track!
I still call it Scottrade Center sometimes on accident because that was the name I grew up calling it 😂
@@Jacobthekid28 scottrade has been there the longest of all. It's the one many are used to
Getting ready for Ryan O'Reilly to go into Ovi celebration mode.
Like jumping into fountains lolol
aaron bone they have also been at a local bar for hours with a huge crowd outside and people are throwing jerseys and hats on the balcony and they are signing them and throwing it back down
The whole team went ovie. I mean it seems close to the caps. IMO
HA, you should see Maroon right now!
“Style of play”. Mike Yeo was never a good coach for the Blues, he is more of finesse and speed coach and that confused and frustrated a team that was built to be physical. I don’t blame Mike for his coaching style, but the lesson here is to not follow trends. Physical hockey is back and proven to be the winning combination. So proud of the whole Blues organization for recognizing and being bold enough to make radical changes. Those changes not only saved this team, it made them the best in the league. I love my St Louis Blues and still singing Gloria.
Literally everybody: St. Louis is down for the count there’s no way they can bounce back
Blues: I’m gonna do what’s called a “pro gamer move”
That One Weird Kid 💀😂
Congratulations St. Louis, deserved Champions. Bruins lost 3 games of 4 at home in the Finals, they diddn't deserve it, Blues did
- It was a 7-game series that could've gone either way, both teams were deserving, but only one team could emerge on top. Congrats to the Blues. :-)
@YES I SAID IT!! They were NOT leading the entire series, were you even watching? Bruins won Games 1 & 3 and led the series each time. Only at the end did the Blues come back and take the series in 7. Pay attention.
@YES I SAID IT!! Yes the Blues were the better team in the end....and the road teams practically dominated anyway. BTW the Bruins dominated the Blues in Games 3 & 6 in St. Louis. But yes, the Blues narrowly won Games 2 & 5 in Boston, only in Game 7 were they flatout the better team in Boston. And they did deserve it in the end.
Bruins are my pick to win it this year, pasta is ridiculous, debrusk is finally playing to his potential and McAvoy is world class.
I frickin' miss Chris.
4:28-4:42 ... ah, now I see why B Marchand was crying at the end. He felt guilty for this unnecessary change late in the first period that led to the winning goal.
Started from the bottom now my hole team here
Kudos to prongs. They would've won the cup back in the day if keenan hasn't sunk the team and it's future.
One hundred per cent agree
Only good thing Keenan did was bring in Pronger.
F keenan
Okay, you guys, I'm not going to take any credit for this incredible story but when I realized I was bad luck for our BLUES I stopped watching them on the TV as early as late December. I didn't watch any playoff games except game six with Boston and didn't watch game 7 until the last ten minutes of the third period. You're welcome... P.S. I'm glad the Walmart boys got out of the way when they did.
screw the NBA I love Hockey now--- guts passion and skill, NBA is league LeBron me me me The Caps won for me last year-- im sold on Hockey, I cant skate-- or speak Canadian!
Canadian isn't a language
😂😂😂😂 Have you watched Letterkenny ? 😂😂😂😂
"Speak Canadian"?? Do you realize how DUMB that sounds? "Canadian" isn't a language you goof! Oh and BTW did you even watch the NBA Finals? Where was "Me me me" LeBron at?? You tell me....oh wait, you're going to yell at me to "speak Canadian!" again aren't you? Lol
Love that the Blues won the cup. Was embarrassed for them that every body that picked it up cussed with it in the air. Could not imagine the Canadians in 76 doing this. People would have been flabbergasted. Congrats St Louis. Mind your language too, kids are watching and adore you. Set an example that is better.
Buddy you can’t be serious. They just did something they’ve been waiting literally their whole lives to do, I don’t think they are lifting the cup thinking “oh I better set a good example for the kids watching!” They won the Stanley cup let them celebrate
Who knows how many goalies like Binnington are wasting away in AHL ECHL etc? Hope they get their shot
Hockey has been on sterionds the last 2 years
Jordan greatest " loan " ever
Poor Boston fans can never catch a break lol
Inject crying Brad Marchand into my veins
It was such a good sight wasn't it

The BLUES did it!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone should go back and tell the '67 Cup Champion Maple Leafs that in 52 years, the "new" expansion Blues team will win their 1st Cup and during that time, they (The Leafs) will have zero more. Your organization is a sad, bumbling, laughable, calamity. It's okay, keep it up. Having you guys in the league greatly enhances the chance of success for the other 30 teams!
After the Cup, the Leafs were ran by outright demented people for pretty much their whole history. This without mentioning the criminal senile called Harold Ballard.
Their only great period were the centennial season of the cup and the late 90's, very early 2000's.
No surprise for me. What pisses me the most as a sports fan is that the old Gardens and Scotiabank Arena are packed like this team is the defending champion.
I'm not canadian and not a fan of the Leafs. But I've seen very little insatisfaction from this fanbase historically. IIRC, only protest in any shape or form this fanbase ever had was when they revealed the underground sex ring in MLG.
Hell, Edmonton, known as a passionate fanbase, booed the players. If they were in my homecountry, two or three owners would've gone through a meat grinder already
Y'all Gott post the entire show everyday..bit by bit. Come on man
Mike Yeo is never getting another NHL job.
MetalBuds Gaming he was hired by Philadelphia as sat coach
Also they used the picture without the hometown kid in it!!!! No Patrick Maroon!!!! Come on!!!

The Bruins will win it in 2020!

Yes they're champions....something no fu cking toronto team will ever be
if the Blues can be champs, so can the Maple Leafs! The Leafs went 7 games with Boston as well!
@@ronbonora7872 Leafs also won it in 1967, so you can't say Toronto team will never be, because they have Stanley Cup Champion banners hanging in Toronto.

This year's Stanley Cup was almost as exciting as the New Jersey Devil wins were!Boring boring boring
Someone needs to be drug tested. Maybe cut back a little.
Let me guess, theres going to be a movie about it now. No one cares what the blues did, the only thing anyone cares about now is when the season starts again!

Sorry but they didnt start from the bottom. They made playoffs last year. False advertisement
watch UrinatingTree's video, and you'll see why for the Blues making the playoffs last year meant nothing for this year!
They've got a history of making the playoffs year after year after year after year after year, and not winning!
czcams.com/video/-HUwd3fKsj0/video.html
Dead last at the beginning of the year. Not sure how you get more in the cellar than that. The organization was just about to dismantle the core of the team. The whole team was a dumpster fire before the All Star break. They were even fighting each other during practice. If that't not the bottom, I really don't want to see what is.
Actually they DID NOT make the playoffs last year. They lost to Colorado on the last day of the season. Colorado made it and the Blues did not.
They didn't make the playoffs last year... they lost to the Avalanche the last game of the year, and missed out.
@@jackson5116 they didn't make the playoffs last year, Avalanche beat them in the last game of the year.
