- During the St. Louis Blues' 2019 Stanley Cup run, they had some special inspiration. 11-year-old Laila Anderson is battling one of the rarest diseases in the world, but her spirit couldn't be brighter. This is her story.

I'm not crying, you're crying
Wrong we all crying! Lol
"...smelling the hockey air..." no other air like it!!!
Smells like AAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDSSSSSSS
JRoc Get over yourself, bud.
"We fight for you" brought me to tears
It's incredible how well-spoken she is.
No dislikes, because Laila is the best, the Blues are amazing, and I am happy to call STL my hometown!!!!
Ten Brad Marchands disliked this awesome video.
This is what made me love the Blues
This video brings me to tears even 3 yrs later. They did it for not only Laila, also for Ari. And also for the Saint Louis community. This moment will never be forgotten. LGB!!!!!
It’s waterfalls for me just seeing this precious girl!!!
The St Louis Blues deserved to win! They made other fans and people in life that no matter how far behind you are, don't give up! Get up, work smart, push hard and chase the dream (the cup).
From,
A NY Islanders fan!
What a emotional video, not just the Blues winning the Stanley Cup but Laila winning her battle!!!! God Bless her
This is a stamp of a appreciate approval that when you think of the blues you think of the good luck charm. She will be there good luck charm until the time she goes to heaven.
That kid deserves that ring and what a fighter she was congrats
I love how she says, "those boys"!
As a cancer patient myself, my heart goes out to Laila. So happy to see her celebrate with the team after Game 7 of the Finals.
“We fight for you” heartwarming quote
Seen so much of her but all of this put together. Grown man crying
Watching this again just made me cry again--been a Blues fan from the start, was her age when i saw my first Blues game in 1968 and this is the most inspirational story in Blues History, tied in with them winning the Cup--She truly inspired a hockey team and an entire fan base-Go Laila Anderson, hope you have a long and happy life.
I firmly believe that Laila was an integral part of the Blues winning the Stanley Cup. When a child who's beat her battle with a life-threatening disease says "I've won, my battle, now you win yours," you have no option but to win. Laila wasn't just a miracle story - she touched the hearts of our entire city. Those boys have all credited Laila too....but that's what hockey players do. They never take personal credit for a victory.
20 seconds in and I am about to start crying again. The Blues could win the next 10 Cups and it could not top what all happened last year. Laila, keep rocking.
Oh, Jeez, what an eternal wisdom and positivity. We all can learn from this young brave girl. No way one can watch this without tears.
Cheers to the Blues. Good things happen to good people.
So many hockey players are such great guys.
Holy crap, i’m definitely not crying
This is for Laila. This is for St. Louis. This is for Blues Nation. I'm damn proud of what our boys and that little girl did to get us a Cup! She better be on the ice on Opening Night when that banner goes to the rafters at Enterprise. This journey isn't over until they rip the Cup from our hands!
Best video ever. 💙💛💙💛
An inspiration to all ❤❤❤❤
Laila you are such an inspiration for a lot of people. I suffer from a condition known as Neurofibromas type 1 or nf1 I’ve been fighting it for 31 years my family showed me your videos even though I’m a Red Wings fan we all support something and fight for everything keep your stick to the ice and shoot for your goals God Bless You and your family.
That's as good as it gets. You Go Laila!!!
At the 2:10 mark i balled and didn't stop for 5 mintues. God bless this girl!
OMG ... old man with tears in his eyes. Love ya Laila. xoxo from Canada
What an incredible story and special video. Shout-out from Sinnette Pape in St.Pete FL. Go Laila!!!!
I'm not even a hockey fan(football and basketball are my cup of tea) and this made me so emotional 🥺 back in 2015 I signed up to be a bone marrow donor and a few weeks ago, I got a call that I'm a match with someone 💙 So that's what brought me to this video, I'll know within 60 days if the patient moves forward and decides to receive the transplant. I am excited to save someone's life
Laila Anderson and Liam Fitzgerald (the Bruins' #1 superkid) are the real winners of the 2019 Stanley Cup Final. These two deserve to have their names on the Stanley Cup, Liam for '11, and Laila for '19.
A 52 year wait since 1967
Every Championship has an inspiration.
Heather Anderson. Rock and rock star. 🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒
