- Israel on Monday reacted angrily to America’s decision to not use its veto power to the ceasefire resolution at the UN Security Council. Benjamin Netanyahu decided to not send the delegation, which was expected to arrive in the US this week to discuss the concrete plan for the planned Rafah invasion.
However, the reaction by a State Department official gave an impression that the UN was irrelevant and the US had taken upon itself to achieve the ceasefire in Gaza through negotiations.
USA and UK can NEVER talk about human right again, lost all the credit.

That's exactly is my position. What is the significance of their forcing "Human rights and rule of law" on the whole world. They support breaking of resolutions of UN by Israel.

When he said the US didn't believe Israel was in violation of Humanitarian Law I was left to contemplate just what would the US consider to be a violation of Humanitarian Law. No China and Russia didn't cynically vetoed the previous resolution, which didn't call for a ceasefire, and was linked to support a negotiation in Doha with limited goals, and which is hold for weeks now. It was a lame resolution, just pro domo, to enable criticism and lies on China and Russia, it was NOT supported by Arab countries either !

It's not binding in reality none of the members of the security council are willing to send their armies to enforce it. Who will force Hamas to release hostages when it said no? No one. Who will force soldiers on both sides to stop fighting? No one will send their armies
