    769..00 lmao this is more than most german performance cars. The premium payed on this is nuts. this intake at best should be in the sub 500 dollar range. 420-450 would be more reasonable for this unless there’s parts of silver and gold on this thing too lol. please elaborate on why the cost is this cost lol

      This is a ram air intake, different from a normal intake. They offer some for 500$ but those don’t use cold air, just boxed temp. That’s because you have to get rid of the stock intake tube that feeds the air intake. This one is designed to fit with oem air duct, and provides a longer filter instead, hence the “v4” just means their latest design. You can still buy old design, but on paper this type of intake actually provides improved efficiency and performance, 800 is pretty entry level considering it’s a 40-50k new car. Picked one up for 22k with only 23k miles. Next is turbo upgrade!

      @@Dr.reese_UBR3 i understand the difference between a true cold air and a ram hot box. This intake is identical to the previous minus the housing but then again it’s only a matter of time before this material surrounding the filter gets hot being so close to the engine still and begins to heat soak. again 800 bucks is not entry level by any means when 90 percent of the highest branded intakes for my m4 range from 4-600 and the m4 is actually worth the money u stated. 800 for a guilia not even a qv is not worth it. guilias can be found anywhere from 20-35k almost brand new. those cars make crap for power and 800 bucks will net u next to nothing.

      @@1state152 it will still beat 85% of the cars on the road, as for track…. Maybe 5% 😂 also this engine isn’t producing the amount of heat you think it is… have you seen them up close? There’s almost a full arm length from the radiator to the front on the intake… it’s not the v6 one. That one basically has no space in the engine bay, this is fully enclosed and will definitely be cooler than stock abs plastic

    I have the V2 installed in my stelvio as well as the stage 1 ecu tune. Cant decide whether its worth upgrading to the V4.

    • @EUROCOMPULSION
      @EUROCOMPULSION  Před rokem +2

      The V2 offers good performance and sound. The V4 is really just going to be peak performance, and better at withstanding underhood temps (due to it being enclosed) depending on environment. If you're doing a lot of spirited driving and are located somewhere that high ambient heat is a factor (especially if you are often at a stop for long periods) the V4 is going to be better suited to these situations.

    cool promo video but like... no intake sound, terrible lighting, can't really tell where the ram air is supposed ot be and the box the air filter is in is restricted by that tiny opening?

    • @EUROCOMPULSION
      @EUROCOMPULSION  Před 9 měsíci +1

      It's probably hard to tell without seeing it in person (and holding it in your hands) but the filter and canister are huge. They aren't tiny openings, they're about 4 inches in diameter. The canister design is as such that it allows the air to swirl through the box, gaining velocity. This thing is anything but short on air flow. The ram air piece connects directly at the factory ram air duct inlet at the front of the car, go to the link in the description, you can see photos off the car in technical section. There's no sound clips because there isn't much, the entire thing is sealed. This is why we have the V2 intake, for people that care about sound, the V4 is for people who want max performance (regardless of sound).

    Will this work/fit in a Stelvio? You only specify the Giulia and I know that many things work/fit on both. If not are you going to make one that will?

    • @EUROCOMPULSION
      @EUROCOMPULSION  Před 3 měsíci

      Yes, it will definitely work on a Stelvio for sure. Most if not all the performance related parts are interchangeable between the Giulia and Stelvio.

    • @EUROCOMPULSION
      @EUROCOMPULSION  Před rokem +1

      It should be restocked soon, just waiting on our canisters to come out of fabrication. I don't know that we will offer Tiffany Blue, if enough people are interested in that color, we may do it.

    • @EUROCOMPULSION
      @EUROCOMPULSION  Před rokem +1

      Quieter than the V2, but not as quiet as the V1. There are still some intake whooshes audible.
