How to Preload 3mm
The Internal Wastegate Actuator is designed to have 3mm of preload applied to the rod
which would ensure the wastegate gas will not go through flapper before reaching your target boost.
1. Ensure turbine housing flapper and bush could work well and smoothly.
2. Install MAMBA adjustable wastegate actuator on the turbo bracket with supplied stud and nut.
3. Push the flapper arm and ensure flapper hit the wastegate hole on turbine housing.
4. loosen the rod nut and adjust the clevis to leave 3mm for preload.
5. Use your hand to pull the rod or pressured air through nipple fitting to pressurise the clevis can be hooked
onto the flapper arm.
6. Reinstall the R-Circlip or circlip to secure the clevis to the flapper arm.
7. Tight the rod nut to secure the clevis onto the rod.
8. Use pressured air to check if the rod could work well.
9. Finish.
