Don’t take my word for it, but I think dk64 was a spiritual successor/apart of the country series according to rare. Don’t take my word for it tho. Even then, boxing ring k rool was a dragged on fight and would take up to much time.

Man, every thing about Fredrick's design and fight just screams like he's trying to say "Hey look, I'm just like K Rool!" but it just ends up feeling like "Why am I NOT Vi-King K Rool?"
The Gluteus Maximus it would have been great if after the fight ends k rool is found to be the real king of the enemies
Fredrik was originally going to be K Rool doing a Viking gimmick. However, half way through the game's development Nintendo told the guys who made Tropical Freeze that they wanted a new villain. Rather than throw out everything they'd programed so far, they simply turned K Rool and the Kremlings into a bunch of arctic animals. That's why we have Lord Fredrik.

@@kayokango I could see it if you wanted to hype him up for smash but otherwise it just seems like they dislike the character in some way.
I'm afraid it's true. The Kremlings were slated to return in Tropical Freeze, as many former RARE employees developed the game. Fredrik has the exact same body type as K Rool and even some of his mannerisms.(though Fredrik is played more straight and less comical) His final fight is even structured like a classic K Rool duel. Nintendo's higher ups in Japan have never been fans of K Rool and the Kremlings. It's really a very sad reality that the only reason K. Rool even made it into Smash 5 was because of the fan ballot and Sakurai being such a cool guy who listens to the fans.

Well tiki tong is probably X5 bigger than bowser, and tiki Tong’s minions are able to mind control almost any one the only reason they weren’t able to mind control DK is that he was to dumb and we both know that Mario is way smarter than DK, so who’s to say that the tikis can’t just mind control Mario and than they tell Mario to jump in lava or something

When i was 4-7 i played a lot of dkc3 on snes. I saw a video about the lost world and so i did it and it worked. Finished the game in hard mode and tufest too

So: idea for a game featuring all three of these big boys:
Long ago, an ancient tribe of Kongs ruled DK island. They had great, even magic power, and all of the creatures loved their rule. One day they decided that they wanted music to bring more happiness to the island. So they created instruments that could play by themselves, imbuing them with power - the Tikis. But the Tikis began to hate the Kong’s for simply using them for entertainment. So they began to rebel. After much deliberation, the Kong’s threw their creations into DK island’s volcano, believing they had destroyed them, instead simply putting them to sleep. Or maybe the Tikis were an ancient race on the island before any Kong’s arrived.
Next, the Kremlings. As long as there were Kongs, there were Kremlings. They had many battles, each trying to take control of the island, before the Kong’s eventually defeated them, and cast them off the island.
Finally, the Snowmads. Though they’ve conquered many lands, the ancient Kong civilization always stopped Lord Fredrik from conquering their island. So he’s always wanted them gone.
So there you go. Explanations for backstory of Tikis, K-Rool in the “returns” universe, and the return of the Snowmads. All three of them essentially want revenge.

A sandbox style DK with k rool, diddy, dixy,cranky,and funky would be so cool. And I think it be even cooler if K.Rool turned into more of a Bowser type villian.

RareWare always makes unbelievably smooth animation for the console its on. They're an MVP game designing company for sure.
At least i finally know where kkr's crown throw and cannon attack comes from, but as a kid i thought mad scientist kkr was a Really Hard boss fight especially when he electrified the floor. I was a kid but I do not know what to say.
I feel like Tiki Tong is forgotten most among all the bosses because it's not 'King K Rool'. I like the other bosses, but for me, Tiki Tong is the best.

Cap'n k rool was the shit. Great challenge and even greater theme. Thank god hes in smash. Maybe he'll make a well deserved return in the next dkc. Looking at u retro studios... tho the walrus, fredrick, was really an awesome rival.
The problem is that K Rool is a very disliked character on Japan and the only reason he made it back into Smash was because of Sakurai's plan on adding the high ranking characters from the ballot that had potential to be fighter.
But really, the popularity of K Rool in Japan is why he much likely won't come back into an actual DK game.
