No. You are wrong. He is also wrong. Just because Indian Army has zero tolerance for anti India ethos doesn’t mean Indian non-Hindus subscribe to that thought. Non-Hindus can never be pro India because they have “faith” in a far away foreign land which was always “foreign” to them.

I totally agree with Mr Padmasenan that religion should not be part of the conversation with s..not only service officers but any civilian in public. Religion is a private and personal matter and is just between the worshipper and the worshipped. It is therefore utterly wrong to ask for details of one's religion even in a biostatistics or a resume of a person. What is the point in getting to know one's religion? It is the cause of much disturbance and contention.

They eat beef, they still pray inside structure which were hindu temple and which were broken rebuilt as mosque by muslim rulers like Aurangzeb to mock hindus. Action speaks larger then hollow speech. Stop eating beef, handover our temples so that we can rebuilt it. Kashi viswanath temple is live proof how a temple was destroyed and mosque built over it to mock hindu. Still muslim live in denial. How do you expect a hindu to react when they see gyanvapi and then know muslim were doing wazu over a structure similar to shivling. If the general speaks truth . What a ntcase of a 'General' is this guy?
He says he was 'protecting the girls as a parent' by denying them entry into a library. Claims that as a redressal and walk-back from his patriarchal policy he even created a bus service to go to get the girls to the library....and ZERO girls showed up.
So, where was the need to 'protect their transit' by 'denying entry into the library' when there were no girls interested in going to the library in the first place?

After listening to his interview i can only say Denial is the biggest challenge for change. In any busy streets of India the only people who's religion is easily identifiable these days are Muslims. Which was not the case 30 years back. Even small kids are not spared to showcase their religous identfies these days. If it was practised for 100 of years then i dont see as an issue. No one can deny its only in the last few decades such a change has happened in Muslim community and the worrying part is it is universal across India. Religion should be kept within walls of home and worship places irrespective of any religion in securlar country. If every one wants to show case their religious identifies obviously conflicts would arise. He sounds to be like a moderate muslim but i feel he is hadicaped to look at the real issues in his community. Wish people like him take forward such dialogues with majority community as well as introspect within their communities.

Or perhaps an agenda beyond the journalistic? Also generalsaab, it is better, don't you think, to learn about those who fought back, rather than worship invaders and name streets after them...? Which is perhaps why you are a celebrated Indian perhaps? So no gap there, just juxtaposing, which is fair and should be done in this case where we have been made out to be a defeatist civilisation.

We have to understand that “Islam” doesn’t fit in any narrative of a civilised society. Islam is not a religion, it’s a “conquering doctrine”. Their book isn’t “inspiring philosophy”, their book is a “code” which was made for Arabia. You gain zero knowledge from the Sky Book but you get so much intolerance and bigotry from that.

The unemployment is a state-wide issue, also the unemployment is by survey, which is quite erroneous. This survey categorizes even those not looking for jobs are unemployed.
