Please help I got a nitro stampede I’m trying to convert into electric and I spin one of the driveshaft and the other one does not spin and the spur get moved a little bit but when it’s on the ground the spur your moves back-and-forth and I roll the truck what do I do to fix it
My stampede runs great but one problem when I was gonna reverse the vehicle I saw that one wheel doesn't move on the right rear tire what can you think about this problem? IT moves while riding but it doesn't move back when I was riding it from the grass. Please reply.
what of my wheels spins but the other one does not. when I turn the motor they both spin. I think this is a differential problem. I do I go about fixing it?
Bought my Traxxas from Amazon had this happen to me where if I would spin one wheel forward the other one would've gone backwards so I got another slash returned the other one and went through a very long route. Thank you for creating this video so that if that does happen again I can fix, sorry rc noob here. Well even though I might be a rc noob that would've been a very easy fix.
Could be one of the wheel bearings or outdrive yoke bearing. Or in the case of mine right now the little hex that spins the wheel is stripped or the wheel itself is stripped or both in my case both. Need to replace it someday but I don’t run my 4wd stampede much since I have 2 2wd pedes and an e-maxx.
Some are designed for one wheel to spin brand new. If two wheels used to spin then there is probably a plastic gear that has stripped on that side not spinning.
+Og Mudbone I fix my problem my transmission gear was strip I open the box and inside there are 3 gears the one in the middle was plastic and it was strip it had no more lil teeth hopes it helps you
+Jesus Mendez ill have to bring it to my hobby shop because i can't even open my gear box unfortunately i don't have the proper screw set and the truck runs perfectly in the air but doesn't work on the ground
You dont need to disconnect the motor wires only the battery. the only reason is because you won't have any power so that is more time to re solder the wires.
@@1900WARREN yes the drive shafts were almost off! Loosen the set screws on them push the drive shafts in as much as possible and tighten them up if they come loose again put lock tight on the set screws
You need to determine where it stops spinning to figure out problem. By using process of elimination. Does it make a noise likes it's running when you run it if yes does it sound normal or like something is grinding etc?
This helped fix mine. I thought some gears were stripped or something worse.. but your simple fix is all it took!!

My car is a stampede and the gears move and the wheels spin but once the car touches the ground i give it gas it dont move
