@@ryanbell4952 a litter bike feels about the same as a 600. Only until around 100 mph then a litter bike will keep pulling as hard as the 600 at 30mph. It will keep pulling that hard till you give up usually. I've taken mine to Road America a few times. Gave up around 160 mph and the bike still pulls hard.

This has been my philosophy for over 20 years of riding sport bikes. You have to respect and even fear your bike a little bit to stay safe. You have to analyze everything and everyone on the road constantly and stay 3 or 4 steps ahead of any potential scenario. Make it a game where you try to predict what everyone else is going to do at least 5 seconds before they do it. The scary part is when you realize you were wrong so often.

Your throttle control is great and I can tell you've been driving for quite some time. I drive a 1200cc sport tourer with about 108hp. It's not the fastest thing on 2 wheels, but has plenty of power. Driving it would not be possible unless you master control over the throttle. Jesus may watch over me while I ride, but I can wait a little longer for a face to face meeting!

I love my 06 CBR1000RR...I currently own a dozen supersport bikes, and the CBR1000RR is far and away my favorite, unless it's raining. Then I opt for my 2014 YZF-R1 with traction control and rider modes.

agree with your comment, i remember my first litre bike and it was a 09 cbr1000rr repsol edition. I still remember hitting full throttle for the first time and lifting the front wheel of the ground in 1st gear doing 70mph, that for me was life changing coming from a cbr600rr. The pull was nothing like i had ever experienced before. I now have a 1000whp s15 and a s1000rr, to be fair i ride the s1000rr more than i drive the s15, simply because the s1000rr gives a better rush, these litre bikes have killed my love for cars and like you said you will always be chasing that feeling

@@bigjeffy88 they were the best litre bikes of their time before all the newer ones came out with all the electronics and huge power out puts and to be fair they are alot scarier to ride than my current s1000rr, simply because of the lack of electronics. You get it wrong and there is nothing to save you. Still a beast of a bike and in my opinion still one of the best looking

I remember my first bike, a CBR 600 F3 (1992) looked real scratched up was my first bike and we deliberately went for a cheap not so pretty not overly powerful bike to be my first. Last ride of the season that year with my buddies, who is older and has ridden for many years, taught me how to ride and think, we hit a road with small pebbles on it and I low side around 50 kilometers/h. Bike is fucked up. Decided to fix it up a little and sell it with a minor loss and going for a Gixxer 750-R 2001.
We searched for some time and found one with decent mileage, but 200 kilometers away. So here I am one season as a rider on a 90 - 100HP bike driving to pick up a suspersport with 140HP. We check it out, a friend who works with bikes daily tests it and gives me the thumbs up to buy it. Had to ride it home late April evening my buddies in a car, and they call me and asks me to give it a little run when the coast is clear. Man the power curve compared to what I was used to scared the ever living crap out of me. Unfortunately the weather went to nearly freezing degrees and most of the ride I was freezing. We ended up leaving it at a friends house and I took the car home the rest of the way but I did not ride that bike for a few days. it scared me good which thankfully put in a little fear of god in me again. I still to this day believe it has kept me humble and respectful of the power and dangers of riding a motorcycle I love it and the speed but I sure as hell respect it just as much.
