What is the fastest liter bikes? Who cares, but it's cool to run em against each other for funsies! Yamaha R1 vs Honda CBR1000RR racing on the highway. It's a pretty even race, with the CBR and its stock gearing pulling away on the top end. Had a cop nearly spoil the fun, but all was well :)

Its a awesome bike my dad has a 2010 CBR 1000rr but they havent changed it since 2008 so thats why people got kinda tired of it...every single bike is doing something new every year and Honda's like nope still the same.

A lot of people underestimate the fireblade but the thing pulls so hard and is also a much easier bike to ride compared to the big competitors.

They are great bikes... do it. Crossplane is a sweet motor. Not as peaky as some of the other liter bikes but very usable on the road and the electronics on the '12+ ones are fantastic for keeping accidental power wheelies in check seamlessly.
stock for stock the r1 is faster than the cbr its just that the r1 in this vid has -1 front sprocket for more snappier acceleration at the expense of top speed but the guy on the cbr just got a ninja 1k that was faster than the cbr and now he has a ninja h2
well if you check a date about the r1 and the cbr date its pretty damn good for the r1!!The r1 is made at 2009 and the cbr was an 2017 soo.....hehe now check a 2017 r1 and this cbr :DD
you said that the CBR on this video is a 2017? if i'm not wrong the CBR is a 2011 man, the 2017 is totally different
R1 is not a drag bike so this is not the case to not buy the R1. Use it for corners and track 🔥👍✌

it's all about gearing and weight both bikes are very close HP from factory but the fireblade is a lighter bike that's why I have one plus a Honda will literally last forever haha plus it's very well balanced for the track .. but both bikes really killed the competition from 08-10 ...now these bikes are under powered compared to the new liter bikes but my 08 still keeps up with every new bike on our Sunday mountain rides and even at the track but the new s1000rr and R1M are just killing the tracks right now .... keep having fun guys this was just having fun without hurting anyone on an open highway ,just before high speed runs always check your chain and rubber and if you have an adjustable stabilizer tighten it up you don't want a speed wobble at 150 .. .... good video guys ... oh tell Dan to get that Mohawk crap off hid helmet
I plan on uploading my first video ever. My friend just bought a 2007 cbr1000rr and I own a 2005 R1. We plan on racing in Florida next week. Who do you think you guys think should win? I am really excited and anxious. My R1 has was ported and polished, the injectors were upgraded, and I have a full Art Pro Series 2 exhaust. The Cbr had the gearing changed 1 tooth each for more low end acceleration and has a power commander 4.
