Are you using arduino or esp? Which firmware did you use to pilot your Quad? Did you add any other hardware eg, BMP180, gyro, GPS? Did you mount the microcontroller on a pcb board. Are you using a wifi cam?
I just bought some motors to replace the ones on my E58 but they run over 10,000 rpms faster than the original. Now I'm wondering how much more I need to do to get it to accept these motors. I haven't received them yet but I'm thinking that the one key take off function will send my little drone into orbit. Any suggestions? Stock motors run at 52,000, these supposably run around 66,000 but are the same dimensions and connector.

So you added a second camera? I'm considering doing the same with my EX5, 5G so I can fly with my racing goggles. To do so I have ordered a spare shell I can reverse the procedure and cover up the ugly if I don't like the results.

Wow your piloting skills are amazing!! This is coming from an advanced radio controlled airplane pilot newish drone pilot. Im very impressed!! I love that transmitter. So much like my airplane controls. Yes if you can and have the time I would love to know everything about this drone. My wife just got me one of these for an anniversary gift and I want this system at its best so it flies the best and lives a long life. Thank you for sharing this video. Thank you for this excellent review. I have this drone and enjoy it. I was wondering how I can enable the video but still use the remote control that came with the drone, not the phone controls. I can get the video working with the app but cannot get the remote to work after that. It seems that the app blocks the remote signal. Is there a way that I can overcome this? Cheers!
All good brother, I saw your video and found the drone flight practically perfect, I have a sou from Brazil and here there is no one who has made any improvement in it, what you did or exchanged that got better. help me there please. I do not speak English did not understand anything that speaks in the video lol.
I think the chances for that to work properly are low. The FC assumes certain reactions and the voltage outputs on the ESCs, and if those are too far off, it will fly poorly or not at all. The Tello and the E58 being to very different platforms, the FC will be quite "surprised" of how the new host reacts. The only way to find out though it to try it ;)
Michael Reyes this quad needs lower PIDs than a Whoop. Also, the boards needs to sit square. So the answer is: if you flash the board with new PIDs and a sensor realignment: maybe.
There are many factors that have a direct influence on the required PIDs for stable flight. Gearing is a significant one, but it is countered by propeller size and pitch. Arm length and weight are significant factors too. Such as motor speed and battery voltage. It’s so complex that we often can only figure it out by trying different PIDs on the complete system. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe the Beta65S Lite drops right in and works great. I’d be very surprised of that though ;)

My new E58 has no sd mini capability. Can I buy a sd card recorder and plug it into the main board. I have had it apart to look for the sd recorder.
