For less than £35 this was actually not a bad toy for the money. It'd make the perfect birthday/holiday present for children (or adults) and actually LOOKS like the real thing
I'f asked Banggood to offer NERDVille viewers a bit more discount so just click on the links below you win, I win EVERYONE WINS

Maybe those bateríes are voltaje low or what could be happen...really apreciate your advice to mod the original bats to a genéric, maybe the valtaje and mah are similar but bateríes es samller cound affect...?

Hi I own a 8807HD wich is very similar to your VISUO. I have an issue with the 18650 battery, it lasts only few seconds (I assure you that it is fully charged). I made the battery mod using a 18650 with a JST connector soldered to it. The battery is charged with a 18650 charger modified with a JST connector. When connecting the battery, the quad flyes for some seconds then lowers its altitude and lands.....after a minute it flyes again for some seconds and lands again................Why is not working properly? Is there something I ignore? Thanks.

You could also make a housing that you can change out the 18650 battery. It would simply sit in the usual battery styled holder. You can just have 5 or more 18650 batteries at the ready to easily increase fun time (flight time) to around 2hrs.

Do the inventor designing in a separate vid ,more in depth , not necesary a tutorial but how you come from a idea to an object in Inventor (wath is your thought process ,is heat space, weight ? )
The bebefit would be you have more vids coming out on regular basis.

I'm glad you mentioned using the USB lead that comes with the copter, there are quite a few videos complaining about battery failure due to using phone chargers, which I would have done had I not seen both your video and another, stating the issue.
Great review, getting one of these plus the extra batteries in a few days.
You could try doing the aerial mod, where the a small hole is drilled in the upper case to allow the aerial to be pulled vertical to allow better reception and using a wi-fi extender to give better range.
Interesting point about memory card issue, not seen that mentioned before, though seen plenty of comments about camera vibration.

Also could use the charge pcb etc so I could charge the drone via the Nokia charger. Or a vape, some are quite cheap and could modify in the micro usb to not have to open the battery hatch any more, enough times and the connection is sure to snap. Any thoughts?

Wont quad be extremely sluggish if able fly at all with li-oon?
How is this possible, I mean lipo are lighter and have less capacity, but they a much beter c rating (even low end are 10c) so with twice capacity how are able to get a similar ondemand discharge miliampere of liion?
Example say a 100ma lipo with 10c would be able to discharge up to 1amp, but li-ion with 200ma and say 3c would only be able discharge 600ma rate. Now am going on extreme low c rating of lipo (most cheapo lipos have at least 20c rating)

The only real reason as to why LiPo batteries are used in drones are because of the power density and output, the 18650 may have more power, but typically not enough output to power a large drone

im sure this uses coreless dc motors like mine which is great. open her up and upgrade the 2 dual mosfet chips for discretes. mine had 6 amp chips which did a spectacular smoke trail then a flip and dead. any low voltage gate mosfet will do but lower on resistance and steeper curve the better. 2 18650 should give more flight time than the equivelent weight of lipo on long flights. taking the crap camera off as its a waste of power. my next upgrade will be bigger motors and props or maybe double the motors for a 4 strut octocopter

The controller is basically an Xbox controller which will make it easy for most kids to get used to. Your son has some serious drone skills. Keeping a none gps controlled copter corralled in a small space like that isn't easy. And flying it with a water bottle swinging around on the bottom is next to impossible. Electronics run on smoke and it looks like your son let the smoke out of the charger. I for one would like to see you modify the Mavic Pro batter. Great review.

It was more interesting the way you’re using a 3D CAD and printed it out. I know that CAD software cost to much. If I may ask, what software is that you have? Can I do self study to do 3D CAD? To do the the same way you did. Thanks to your interesting video.

I plan to buy mavic air next year, but before thst I would like to buy one low budget drone to learn to operate with it. Do you recommend this one or any other maybe? Cheers

This I would recommend just to get an understandingly orientation and flying. The price is low so even if you crash it many many times it takes a lot to break it.

Hello sir, this great, I wish I see you doing the same for DJI Mavic PRO 2 that has a bigger battery case. Maybe you can buy one broken battery and open its case and try to fit other type of battery with larger capacity to extend the Flight time to 40-60 min, that will be great :D

FANTASTIC!!!!! What a coincidence I have a self-built all metal hotend 3D printer. I am considering three 10440 lithum battery upgrade without cutting the drone, or else if I have to cut it, using the latest Panasonic 3350mAh 18650 battery is worth a shot.
Would you mind sharing the .stl file of your wonderful battery compartment?

Very good thanks. Yes it is a great toy, and I liked your redesign. If you are thinking of getting a Mavic, get one of these first, crash the life out of it, and you will learn ATTI mode, and one day it will save your Mavic. Thanks, subbed.

The 8807 is a much better drone to mod as it uses a standard JST plug and the battery bay is very spacious to put a larger battery or 2 batteries to power a separate FPV.

a toy that doesnt even have brushless motors, so increasing the load, it puts a lot more stress on the motors.
So anyone getting this (and modding it), have fun replacing the motors every other month (been there, done it).
Spend 50$ on a RC Logger One, or 100$ on the RC logger EOE, much better investment than 30-50 for this.
