Ive got an f3 fc a bn220 glonass gps hooked up to a micro minnim osd and a700 tvl cam with a 200mw vtx placed inside the E58 frame with sma plugs for racing antenna
Hey Kremer... ... when u get the chance look up “flashing microminnim osd on android no computer.” I have no cpu or laptop so improvised
I used a VTX03 AIO for My 5.8ghz FPV and just connected to my Jumper Transmitter @ 150mw. I also did the dipole swap on the Quad, so zero soldering, great range and no lag FPV. Since as you found this quad is not suitable for a Racer, I like my mod as a FPV "trainer" for my buddies and a fun flyer for me.

Nice. Wish I've could seen this video 2 weeks ago because your solution looks a way much better than what my friend and I were choosen (TX02 + ROTG01) to upgrade our Visuo XS809HW FPV experience. For the radio (Flysky I6x) we want to use the iRangeX iRX6 module. Still waiting for the pack from Banggood and hope everíthing will works well, but unfortunately one thing is sure: we won't have Acro mode...

I have one with an external A8S receiver and one with an AIO F3 FC with a built in flysky receiver. The hard part is flashing new firmware with a cell phone and no computer access.
Greetings, a few questions: is it possible to use a turtlebee f3 to make this same modification on an E58? Can it be connected to a Radiomaster TX12 Mark II with a 4-in-1 module? How long does the battery last with these mods? Thank you very much for your videos, they are very inspiring to develop interesting RC projects.

Hi! Nice video! Really helped me understand a lot about FC and FPV circuits. I can see in every FC board that you need 5v to make it work, but the e58 battery only works on 3,7 so, how did you manage to make it work? Thanks!

Great video. I'm totally new to the drone community but I was wondering is it possible to totally switch out everything in the E58 and just use its body to build a custom compact racer? I'm really wondering if you could even replace the motors with brushless motors and give the drone enough power to carry an FPV and go pro setup.

It will be too fragile.
Drone manufacturers have an odd habit of putting nice bodies and canopies on toy and camera quads while leaving the race/acro drones as bare as possible. I know weight is part of the issue but lower KV motors could offset that. The problem is race/acro drones are always built with the hardcore pilots in mind. I think there's a market for fast brushless quads that aren't a total eyesore to look at but you'll have to convince the Chinese to change their ways.

My question to you, ive purchased 3 extra batteries that are slightly upgraded from the original 3.7v 500mah to 3.7v 850mah and neither battery works. ? i want to keep them and have it modified to run batteries a little better and longer flight time than originals. How can that area be accomplished?

You could use the AIOF3 with the flysky receiver

Hello Andre. You will need to get a module that supports Frsky D8 protocol.
Do you think can I transfer all the electronic of the E58 on a carbon fiber frame, and can I replace the original motors with a better brushless racing motors? Obviously I will upgrade the battery with more mAh.. Please tell me if you think I can do it
You will pretty much need to replace the entire drone since the flight controller does not support brushless motors...
try switching motors with more powerful ones and adding a new battery

No - you will need to replace the camera or add an additional one as demonstrated in the video.

Hey i have an issue with my drone.... I also have the Taranis and the newest version of betaflight and it is set to brushed motors. So my problem is the bound works but the green LED is still flashing and nothing works. My Taranis shows the conection and the blue LED is solid ... Can u pls help me ?::(

How do i instal an external receiver? I have an A8S +and- soldered to the b+ and b- but icant get the board to receive the instructions. It turns on and lights up but i cant find the rx on the board for the ibus or ppm to plug into.

You will need a brushed FC that either has a build in Flysky RX or connect one externally.

Unfortunatly this is NOT something anyone can do.. what about just changing the battry port and then a battry with Much stronger descharge.. (DC) because i wont look on the net for days to get that software card and then buy a solder to connect some cables etc etc... that wld be a mess as im Not a electro.Genius..

I don't think you need to be an expert, but I agree that you do need to have some basic soldering skills.
