Thank you to Pete Carpenter for spending so much time and effort on a thorough review of the Xiaxiu H650 Raptor. The details and professional aspects were clearly explained, and I look forward to the next episode on water flying.❤
You're welcome, sorry it took so long! The plane is a lot of fun, will get it on some water soon!
@@Pete-RcAirplaneWorld No worries, good things take time. I think the content is already quite rich. Looking forward to the video of the plane taking off from the water.
It has a much better performance on a 3s lipo battery. A bit of a heavier batter makes it less floaty and much faster. Super fun little plane. With 3s you can take off from the grass easily. Solid review though. Cheers.
The battery needs to be as far forward as possible, very stable then. Ihave flown these with fpv and Runcam with a battery splitter and a 5v stepdown.
Like you say these aren't the most elegant of fliers but they are a lot of fun! They will take a 3-cell battery and that gets them off the deck pretty quickly. But the battery wires are a bit thin and they should be replaced with an upgraded XT30 connector and heavier leads.
The best thing about them is the very rugged EPP foam! You can bash them down anywhere. 😉😊
Thanks for the response - good to know it will fly with a 3S and good tip about the wires. Have fun!
THANK.........!
Nice Pete 👍
Are you certain the battery goes in that cubby hole? Mine flys great with it all the way forward in compartment using velcro ..i did adjust my linkage on plane also and it flys great imo...
Hi, to be honest I haven't flown it with the pack in the main compartment. I put the pack in the cubby hole after watching one of the official videos. Mine flies perfectly with the pack there, CG is spot on. Cheers.
Hi, very nice video, can you tell me where you bought the mode 1 transmitter. Thank you, best regards, Boris
Hi, the Mode 1 tx came from Kidstoylover.com. I don't know if it's listed separately on their website, if not just email support and ask - tell them Pete from RCAirplaneWorld told you :-)
@@Pete-RcAirplaneWorld Thanks
Were you able to fly it with gyro switched off..very difficult for me..thanks
No I couldn't. Tried but very difficult! I've had several planes and helicopters with gyros and none of them are flyable with the gyro off. It's just the nature of these beasts!
Mode 1 seems invented by a person who never flew in an actual airplane.
It doesn't make sense.
That's probably why mode2 is standard.
Mine came without glue, luckily I got a hot glue gun.
You forgot to pinch the nose and say honk😂
Use the white plug on the battery to keep it even better in place using the plug as a wedge.
Did you glue the nose like instructed?
Rc water planes got far compared to my old Art tech Coota.
