Beautiful.. can't wait to get better at flying, just finished second build.. 3 inch. The fpv community truly kicks ass, i couldn't have learned all i have and gotten things done like i did without Josh, Hotdog FPV-Derek (and his drone), and Chris. Also the many people answering questions i asked in comments on CZcams videos etc.

Legend says it's been hiding from green barrels. it found it's new life on wilderness where ir belongs, far from other color barrels.
Have ya'll ever thought of building a recovery drone? Like a larger drone with a crane game grabber than can fly to downed drones and pick them up? Seems like quite the hike if a drone goes down in hills like in this video.

Playing vid on a PC, pause the video at the point of the crash and then use the comma key to back up a frame at a time, and period key to move forward a frame at a time. Can see the wires. The real question is, why were there wires running low across and down each side of the gully?

That was my exact thought watching the video. I even skipped back twice to look again 😆
The blue barrel is likely a "device" that has several compressed air cartridges on the bottom. In the winter, when lots of snow has fallen, the barrel will "detonate" one of the cartridges in order to force a controlled snowslide down the mountain. This is done several times, so there is no dangerous amount of snow on the mountain that may create danger for residents
