My experience with banggood has been fairly positive. I have had only one broken item and they replaced it as fast as possible considering the distance. Customer service is top notch also.
They have improved quite a lot in the past few years.

Mini Amazon is a great analogy. Just like Amazon you should always buy from local independent retailers first if you can.
I have decent customer service from them all the time but I don't know if that's because I am a "VIP Level 5" or not.
Banggood has changed. An increasing amount of people are now complaining that Banggood are not interested in resolving issues with defective items. You have no warranty protections when shopping with Banggood, they may claim to have 15-30 day refund or replace policy but good luck trying to get anywhere with their "customer service".

I agree delivery can be a major time sink. But that is what we get when we order from overseas. But banggood is getting better with warehouses in the US and a few other countries.

@@takuache4692 they have several whatehouses. I think one is in the USA South East. Delivery time depends on the item really. Some items they keep in stock in the US whatehouse while others are not. It depends upon demand for certian items. If they have what you want in the nearest whatehouse you can get it real fast. If not then we have to wait for it a week or so.
@@andrewmurphy8724 I order small stuff like rc car battery’s pens accessorys I ordered once a rovan Baja 5b it came like in 50 40 days the box came damaged but the inside was in perfect condition it was shipped from China that’s why it took so long.
@@takuache4692 yeah a lot of stuff comes from China. And with the covid 19 pandemic going on shipping times can be a bit longer. Some of the rc cars can be concidered toys but a lot of them are hobby grade with spares available. My local track has even created a class for some of the better rc cars we can get through banggood, which is nice.

It's basically Amazon for global goods. But yeah you make a lot of valid points.
love banggood from uk and never had anything over 22days and the quickest was 7 days to my house that was from the (CN) warehouse aswell.... i noticed at xmas time in uk banggood started to use hermes delivery aswell as royalmail (there norm) but well done on the vid mate its brill keep up the good work....

i bought that transmitter before my arrma typhon v5 arrived. actually havent used it though as the arrma transmitter on the new v5 is fine for me but from a consumer point of view it was fast and cheap.
Does anyone know hw long they take to ship?
I order from Banggood all the time but I only order the stuff that’s here in the US warehouse because I don’t feel like waiting a month for the slow boat from China to get to me. It takes about a week for me to get something from the US warehouse and it’s not crushed like a lot of things that come all the way from China.
The only reason why I haven't bought A 124019 is cause the delivery time. Also very skeptical but i am about to hut add to cart now and order it finally.

I have 2 c24 trucks. One rtr the other a kit. Both came in rather fast and in great condition. I am doing major upgrades to the kit so it is not fully built yet.
I've ordered twice on Bang good. A dumbo RC that never came and spares for a wltoys.
I never got both my orders but the value of both orders only worth £30. I never followed it up and just cut my loses.
That being said I've had friends in the RC community that have never had an issue and can't speak highly enough of them and the service.
Just my honest experience.
So basically ur being lazy af? Bangood would of refunded ur money.

@ODC Art Some things arrived within a couple of weeks, others were much longer, such as during Covid and New Years celebration in China.
I bought a Brusier clone it came broken in the box it was a pain to get the replacement part I just bought a new replacement fr axle.it was less hassle. they wanted pics of shipping box 3 pics of damage and a video of damage for a small ft end part . This was the first damaged truck I got' Every thing else was in good shape.. Truck was damaged at the factory when it was put in shipping box.
Which model did you pick up?? Wouldn't mind looking at getting one...

My only complaint with banggood was my box 📦 was banged up Good 😂 lol amazon uses double boxes to protect your items I might order again from them 🔜 not a deal breaker.

I just get tired of how every box is damaged from shipping. Plastic wrap around the vehicle box, is not going to absorb any impacts.
Shipping damage is hardly their fault. I ordered a 144001 from bg and arrived less than 2 weeks to Australia in plastic wrap completely undamaged. So more than likely it depends on handling in receiving country.

BangGood.com is fine. The RC car is fine too. I bought a $50.00 metal piece kit to upgrade the wltoys 124 but only will use it as replacement parts as needed. The 124 has really gotten upgraded in the right spots since it first released.
I have ordered a few items through Banggood and have not been disappointed. Be aware that you do not get your hopes up real high on a lot of the rc cars and drones. Some are toys and others are hobby grade. Some of the rc cars and trucks can be upgraded though which is nice. Talking about broken items I had one rc car I received that did get broken during shipping. Banggood replaced the car for free after I sent some pictures of the box and the car as received. Great customer service even if it is a bit slow due to distance.

I bought 2 wl144001 and 1 wl124018 and some parts from bangood. As you said just like a mini amazon.the way i look at it might as well go straight to china for products and cut out the middle man.
I had no issues with waiting as most products acoss the industry are on backorder anyway. Love all wl rc buggies i got and only wished these would have around years ago. Anyway thanks for the vid and cheers from norther California.

Banggood is approved by me but you have to be careful to what you buy because some things are completely junk you can get some good deals
What is the car in the box?
The Banggood site is not the best to navigate and the customer service is not great. It's almost impossible to contact them about an order and they refuse to change anything on an order even if you try within seconds of submitting an order and realise you want to change something. I've had to cancel orders from them so many times because of the delays, not just in the time it takes to travel form China but also due their estimated time to ship date being put back and back and back. I do still try to use them but only as a last resort, if they have an offer that's too good to miss or there's something I'm not in a rush to receive. The last order I placed was for a servo to use in my Mojave EXB and I ended up cancelling it when it didn't get shipped for a month so I sourced another one elsewhere.
There is a lot to be said for buying local, but bang good prices are very good.
Personally my experience with BG is a bit ropey. I’ve had some faulty items sent to me.
(RC components.) and they did sort it.
But many calls and emails and a LOT of wasted time trying to get replacement parts for the faulty parts they sent. :(

I have bought many things over the years from Banggood & had really good service @ good prices many with free shipping or low shipping costs. However i have noticed recently things like larger 1/0 scale & larger rc cars have increased in price a fair bit, add in the very high shipping cost of these larger cars now which used to be either free shipping or quite low shipping costs. Take for example the JLB Cheetah which used to be around £225 to the UK with either free shipping or low shipping cost, now the car is around £250 - £270 depending on model. But with a huge increase in shipping around £80 on top, taking the Cheetah to around £330 - £350, the Cheetah is a decent fast car but not worth this sort of money. For this sort of money i can buy many branded trucks here in the UK & still have change with next day delivery. I can buy any of the Arrma 3s BLX v3 range for £304 - £308 delivered or the Team Associated Rival MT10 for £250. Not to mention Team Corally range of new 4s & 6s, the new to be released Corally Radix 4s around £370 & the very fast Corally Radix 6s & Python 6s around £400 each. I quite fancied adding a Cheetah to the collection but not at the prices, they are simply now way overpriced for what they are.
Perhaps something to do with the pandemic? There are products on Amazon in the UK on which the prices have gone up 50%. Shipping costs also escalated in 2020.

Banggood is legit, I've ordered so much FPV gear from them and not one issue. Ordered some PowerHD 65KG servos 3 weeks ago and got the package in 11 days from China.

I've used them plenty. A few issues. Waited for a couple orders for months. I finally cancelled them after unsuccessful communications and more waiting. Then I turned around and re-ordered same items from them following refund. Had them in about 3.weeks??? They are indeed a little sketchy. I will not order if there is a future ship date. I only order if item is in stock. I agreed that patience is important with banggood. Another thing is if you travel and have multiple shipping addresses it's easy to ship to an old address by mistake and hard or even impossible to change that order address. In the end I will still order from them but, be careful and be patient. Thank you sir👍🏻

If it wasn't for you and constantly bringing it up here and there , I probably never would of been willing to get into the hobby due to high prices at other online stores but , I think bangood is the best thing that's happened in my life, next to ebay it's my favorite place to go shopping for more than just RC toys and accessories, I've bought so much things off bangood within the year 2020 my girlfriend was already assuming how much I spent on the app within the year, and man was she WAY OFF! I'm happy with how they even give you a calculated amount of how much money you save with your purchase history , and honestly shipping isn't even that bad, I usually get my stuff from bangood fast, if not the week after I order it will come on the second week, and you have lots of tracking options depending on what shipping choice you order, but I wait longer on amazon orders to arrive than I do for my bangood orders , and it makes Wish seem irrelevant or like it don't exist haha
For the equivalent of about $10 I get shipping that provides fairly detailed tracking. It's relatively slow compared to a courier, but I'm in no hurry and even Amazon generally takes three weeks to deliver here. Even ordering within our borders it can take a couple of weeks for a retailer to get stock if they don't have the product in their warehouse.
Mostly on Ebay and Aliexpress I get a choice between airmail and courier. That is either cheap, untraceable and might never arrive, and quite fast, but very expensive. Amazon and Banggood offer something in between in speed and totally reliable.
I do always shop around though. That includes checking local sources. I won't buy from Banggood if their prices are exorbitant.
Did you make a followup video on how to find reputable manufactors/sellers/resellers from china shops? Every time i try and search for good chinese deals i usually bail out in fear of recieving chinesium.

I'm more than happy for people to share their experiences both good and bad, I had one guy in the past hammer them and when pressed it turned out he'd never bought anything from them....that's not cricket as we Brits say!
The size of the company turnover and the warehouse numbers globally did suprise me though as they were a lot bigger than I thought, hard to argue with those. They must be doing a lot right to get that big.
I don't have the luxury of ordering from the US warehouse as I'm in Australia, their shipping times are unbelievable slow and that was before covid-19 so no excuse then on my last order there was issues with it being returned to their warehouse due to some problem with customs so I've given up using them. I now use aliexpress with so much better service and the shipping service is better than bangood.
I will argue one point with you. Cancelling an order IS NOT EASY. Just try to find a cancel button once you've placed an order. There isn't one. It is possible, but it's not a simple process. That's my only criticism.
It is, at least they refund money when package does not arrive.

I was sceptical at first because.. Well, China... but I took the plunge on a ZD Racing 9016 Pirates 2 MT roller for £112..
It arrived in Scotland about 2 weeks later.. Free P&P on it too.!
That was almost 3 years ago & their prices are nowhere near that cheap now, the same RC is almost £200, if you check often you'll occasionally find them on sale at £150 ish.
But I certainly can't blame Bangood because everything everywhere is more expensive nowadays because.. Errr.. Well, China.. Again.!

I've purchased a few RC's off the website, a few accessories for my TRX4 and SCX10, a PC Chair and a few assorted items and I've received everything I've ordered. The quality of the items however is questionable. I ordered a MH90 Crawler off their website and holy crap it's terrible. No one in their paid reviews mentions the non proportional, virtually nonexistent steering. Now the FMS Atlas 6x6 was great until i needed help with it. Zero customer service. Took another chance on them with the RGT Ex86100 for $180+$4 shipping, 6 day delivery. It's actually pretty decent.
I just ordered from them after a not so good first experience. Lets see how this order shows up. I am hoping for the best.
I think the key is patience, it's a big distance they ship over and nominal delivery cost. Also covid hit the far east first of all, which didn't help earlier on in the year, although now stuff is coming through a lot faster, if you look at the supply chain for parts of the big two players then they are also still having supply chain issues.

A couple items took 5 weeks to get to me but it was the middle of 2020,I live in the states. One of my items that I ordered from Amazon I never received, can't get any response other than its coming when I inquired about it. I placed that order on Amazon in late may 2020. So I got everything I ordered from banggood,undamaged and in working order,and from Amazon I lost $65 plus shipping cost of $25 and never got what I ordered in almost a full year. I will order from banggood again with confidence. Plus without Richies reviews I wouldn't have my awesome wltoys 144001
@@dennisnothstein1311 It was not that time, receiver showed up looking like it got ran over. I got refunded so it was ok. Waited long time for something to show broken. Shit happens. Lets hope it shows in one piece this time.

I have got load of stuff from BG but they often take my order but not ship for months, it's really annoying, if they don't have the item don't take my order. They are cheap thou

There are pros and cons. If you spend money with them, money is going directly overseas. If you buy from a local store, they have a better return policy and sometimes have parts and repair services. I have a RadioShack near me and can buy most parts for Traxxas, Arrma, RedCat and Kyosho as well as others.
Also, reviews on the vehicles seem problematic. Some are saying the items are bad, but have 5 stars. That can be the same on Amazon, but I just bought 4 RCs on there, three for my brother and nieces, and they'll be there Tuesday. If they're bad, they're going right back. I bought one just for the batteries because for $20, I wasn't getting decent results for batteries and a charger for my FPV camera. If there's something you see a review on CZcams and you want it, go ahead. Many of these companies just rebrand stuff or use parts from someone else. I decided against it because I found better deals between eBay and Amazon, and they were already cheaper than Banggood. Between my friends and I, we spent about $5,000 at RadioShack. I bought two new cars, but my two friends bought about 10.
Love your content! I bought the Wltoys 124019 in the beginning of last December. Love it! I had to replace the steering cups and used Banggood. They were great, much to my surprise

Yeah just had an issue with some $400 FPV goggles that don’t work. The thing is they will make you want too give up out of frustration and pathetic offers. They offered to pay for a reasonable repair, pay me $50 and keep the broken device all before my most recent response of do you want a full refund? I contacted the maker of the goggles SKYZONE and they responded literally within 5 minutes(had to have been checking his emails lol)and offered to send me a new power board(sounds like a known issue)or send it in for repairs. So bottom line is yes they legit but will sucker you if you will let them. And SKYZONE is awesome.

this is one of my favorite channels. dont take what im about to type as saying Richie isnt telling the truth. im just going to share my experience and that of many others.
if we received the items when they said it'd be okay. because you know what to expect. but ive NEVER received a package in the time they stated prior to the order. and you cant track. lots of companies ship for free.
as far as they dont charge Traxxas prices. BUT they have plenty of cars that cost what Traxxas or Arrmas cost. and you have to comparison shop now. just like other companies Banggood knows people buy because assume its cheaper. ive found some items for less on eBay and Amazon.
websites can delete bad reviews if they want. ask about Banggood in RC groups of forums. i guarantee you 75% of the people wont say its 5 star.
ive had one damage product out of several orders. not a horrible rate. Amazon did have great customer service from day one. which helped propel them to where they are. and Amazon sells stuff they dont make. difference is returns arent a hassle.
not sure if Banggood has affiliate compensation or pays CZcamsrs in currency. but i do know they give CZcamsrs products for free. and thats the same as compensation. if you dont believe me ask the I.R.S. should taxes be paid on those products.....
Thanks for the feedback as I wanted this to be an open discussion on peoples experiences. (Nobody pays me compensation BTW). I will say on every review I will tell you the good and bad, but there's a lot of people who review the same cars that never find any faults with them.....If there's a fault I'll tell people (SG1604 good example of that last week) and if a cars great I'll also tell you. On a bad week I can spend $200 on spares in a week so getting a small free car isn't go to sway my opinion, unlike some of the people getting $4-600 cars to test for free (Odd those never have any faults....). Your feedback is much appreciated, Amazon returns much better under covid than before covid. I stopped buying lipos on amazon as when they fail under warranty amazon isn't interested (hope that helps someone else out there)
@@DriftomaniacsRC Amazon has a return policy better than any store? what store allows you to use batteries for 29 days and return them on the 30th day. its not their job to service the warranty. thats the manufacturer.

On aliexpress I had a bunch of orders that never came, but they gave me my money back, except one time, I paid around 20$ for a LCD replacement for my electric scooter, the status was "delivered" but they never delivered it, and upon starting a dispute, they didn't give me a refund, I also talked with the bank, they started a dispute as well, they were refused by the card company, so in the end I got no product and minus ~$20 in my account.
I been wanting to make a big purchase, a high end electric scooter that costs about $1550, which is $730 cheaper on banggood than here in romania, but ever since that incident where I lost $20, I lost trust in these chinese companies, so now I'm trying to see what could I do if they would do the same and lie about delivering the product, like, can I sue a chinese company as an european, I doubt it, would police do anything, doubt it.

After my last experience with Banggood I will stick to Amazon and Ebay.
