The only issue i have with mine is the lexan rear diffuser shakes alot when i accelerate. Not sure if there is a fix for that or just normal. Besides that love the car👍

Traxxas slash 4x4 is trash there is nothing heavy duty about it the esc has glitches and delays and me and my friend bought one each and both our drive shafts broke the first time we drove them without jumps

A friend of mine brought one of these to the rc drift track we have it fully converted to rwd and and swapped out the front for the Sakura D4 steering and suspension it drifted pretty nicely

I now am a proud owner of a silver Trx-6 AMG g63 . All metal servo/mount, integy shock towers up front with 120mm internal shocks and hi-clearance steering, hi-lift rod ends, metal axle with full brass treatment and skids. Chassis brace Rear metal axles with full brass, Rock Pirates rear shock towers, hi-lift rod ends, 120mm internal shocks, skids. Also gets bumpers, Integy cnc trans case and motor mount w/ lower base. Also want bumpers, rock sliders, roof rack w/ ladder etc😂❤

I’d recommend using crawlers in the rain as they are pretty high off the ground and stay out the water more as well as their drive train systems are more enclosed to be safe from water and mud

For the record a low bypass jet engine is louder than pretty much everyone reading this comment can imagine, unless they’ve actually heard one. I get the remark about the Concorde, and that works, but just to be clear, those things are so very loud.

Try some contact foams you will get more traction I have them on my traxxas 4 tec 2.0 Vxl

they're almost exact copies of Proline Badlands MX38, exactly the same size, very similar thread pattern, tire compound who knows....$60 vs $70 for the Prolines personally I would rather buy the real thing from a tire specialist for $10 more than risk them suck and wasting $120...if they were half the Badlands price then I would give them a try but not at that price....I am not saying the do suck but it's like buying $60 dollar wallmart noname tires instead of $70 for Michelins ;o]] the Proline wheels also have replacable hex adapters and they give you 0 offset and 1/2" offset ones...so more flexibility plus in case you strip the hex adapter you can easily replace it and save the wheel & tire so imo a better value than these

The *exact* video that I was looking for. I'm *brand* brand new to the hobby with very little knowledge of lipo care that's carried over from airsofting. C rating isn't something that we had to consider in airsoft, at least not back when I was active. I have only just ordered my first rc car on an impulse, hyper go 14303, and was thoroughly confused by the 25C first party battery packs being so expensive. I started looking at 3rd party packs only to see 50C+ being the most common and readily accessible. After running amperage calcs to see if the 45amp esc, that I think the 14303 has, could handle the 50C+ packs... I ended up scared myself off any of those high C rated battery packs. Elsewhere online makes this all out to be a "Bigger peg than the hole" kind of issue where having a higher C rating will kill your esc immediately.

Something else had to of been done. I swapped to the 160a spektrum esc with included speed gear and I am only getting 83 mph. What gives?

I've had mine for about 2 years but never used it much and although I was really impressed with it's speed I found one should read the manual when buying any equipment. Last night I got the urge to take it out of the box to give it a run and this time read the manual more carefully and noticed the knob for throttle control(I initially thought it was a trim type of control and never used it). It was set to about half way! This thing is crazy now that the throttle dial is fully clockwise and almost dangerous. Used all 3 batteries and finished up just after 1am. Normally I read manuals to find all of the features of whatever I buy but this time I didn't read the finer details and am so annoyed with myself. Very happy now and it's as if I just got a new "toy".

Why is that thing squealing so loud..sounds like something is too tight

I had to take the bluetooth adapter out to get this to work. I cannot get the damn TRAXXAS MAXX to update properly and fails out for whatever stupid reason. I probably have 20 different things I update that I own from time to time. TRAXXAS is the absolute worst shit I have ever dealt with that has issues from time to time with updates. Plus, these updates are the absolute slowest crap I have ever see in my life! It's a tiny program and yet took my UDR after a retry damn near an hour to update the 2 updates I needed to install. TRAXXAS really needs to fix this crap and quit being so freaking cheap in this area. They make great trucks and cars, but their bluetooth has something to be desired.
