Caleb Malone most of this list is good but not great, but it depends on what makes you laugh I suppose.
Especially (1) since they omitted the Marx Brothers' films (Duck Soup is my favourite); and (2) they made Monty Python and the Holy Grail #1! I feel that it is overrated, and that Life of Brian is funnier!

Monty Python and jthe Holy Grail have almost 4 decades and still it is funny has fuck. When a movie can do that, it achive legendary status.

I have seen a lot of comedies, and Anchorman is the pinnacle of comedy compared to what I have seen. I would even put Anchorman 2 on this list and take out Superbad.

Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World's End, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (Edgar Wright is just the best), Dr. Strangelove, and 21 Jump Street are some of my all-time favorite comedies.

Comedy is by large part, personal taste. For me this list, except for #1 and #10, constitutes the 8 worst *stupid* comedies of all time. Stupid comedy I find mostly boring, might as well watch the 3 Stooges, at least they get a smile out of me now and then.

I love "Airplane!"! It is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, and the jokes never get old; even after multiple times having seen the movie. Each time I watch it, I seem to find even more things that are hilarious with the movie, and it stands up so well, as the jokes are still so funny.

Most modern "comedy" films especially American one's are not funny at all, most of the jokes are comparable to knock knock jokes. Indeed swearing as much as possible and mixing it with sexual innuendo and complete immaturity is tedious at best.

Airplane was a spoof of a Canadian film that they sometimes did line for line/scene for scene. Funniest was that thd spoof did better then the actual movie.

Two of the most underrated comedies ever not mentioned. Used Cars and The In Laws, the original of course. Hard to argue with the #1 though. Only time I was literally on the floor in the movie theater.
