I got to see it for free so I saw it like 5 times while it was in theaters. I'm not sure if this movie is even listed here but it's my best example for being unexpectedly funny. There's such a fine line between being stupid stupid and stupid funny, and so many movies have good intentions but fall short. I'm so happy when movies actually get it right.

I’ll always remember one hilarious scene from Hot tub Time Machine with Craig Robinson as the barista and he’s talking to his friend and there was this impatient white customer
Customer *annoyed* - “ Can I get a coffee, Black?”
Craig- “ Can’t you see we talking, White??” 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Honestly, even before I watched Jumanji, my perspective was "I don't think it'll be GOOD, but I think it'll be FUN". Cos like, those four actors as the main cast? Yeah, they were gonna have fun making it, so it was gonna be fun to watch. And I was RIGHT

@@jamiethepug35 _Spy_ was a disappointment to me. I went to see how Jason Statham would handle outright comedy, but they gave him far too little to do. Too much Melissa McCarthy being insufferably tedious, as she always is.
