    Amazing job! A great recommendation for anyone doing headlight Assembly replacements and installs.. Mount thenew headlights and check to see if everything is working before installing the rest of the parts and bumper that way is something doesn't work you don't to do double work taking everything off again to check light bulbs or connections. Amazing video, woohoo.

      All I did was filled the cracks in with silicone worked amazing 3 dollars compared to new headlights

      I tried silicone, didn't work. I had to replace entire thing. Dealership wanted a ridiculous price, so I found one on eBay for a fraction.

    Good job, but he talked so low that I was having a hard time hearing him. Also close up shots as u where doing the work would also help.

    Just curious why you need to take the whole damn bumper off makes no sense all you have to do is reach in there and take the light bulbs out right. The problem I'm having is putting them back in. I bought new LED ones instead

      He changed the entire assembly not just the bulbs. The bulbs just twist in and out.

  • @FixItYerself
    @FixItYerself Před 3 lety

    do i have to do all that just to change the bulb?

    • @spaghettibeans
      @spaghettibeans Před 3 lety

      No. This is to change the entire assembly. The bulbs can be changed without removing any bolts or body parts fairly easily.

    First of all your lens is leaking water along the Seam I would just seal it with some adhesive type caulking, unless the water caused some kind of damage to the light, second this is stupid, the way they make you go through all this just to remove the lens, obviously factory designed to make you spend more money, third this should be a factory defect, I've seen a number of dodges and Chrysler vans with this same problem, that's why I like the older vehicles easy to access the problem easy to repair. Very poor design.
