Hi i have a e36 325i multivalve it idles fine revs up fine soon there is a incline it miss fires i changed almost every thing and it is still doing the same thing
Man if I'm not just as disappointed as you it didn't fix it I'm in the same position gotta dead cylinder non vanos m50 I've swapped coil packs injectors spark plugs kinda prepared for the worst
@@ricotheunprofessional not yet tbh I'm not a mechanic but I got a decent amount of knowledge she threw a fireball out the intake so I'm scared I jumped timing I'ma attempt a leak down test so I don't need to run it
@@ricotheunprofessional I guess you would know since you drifted it 5 cylinder lmao were you getting rich enough from that cylinder to start popping through the intake? Or you think that is a timing issue?
Another great video 🔥🔥🔥
thank you my guy

Im in the same situation w a s52
So what was the issue
broken piston ring
Did you find a solution to the problem?
it was a broken piston ring, so im actually swapping a different engine into the car and rebuilding this broken one
@@ricotheunprofessional
How did he know that? Did you do a piston pressure check
@@omaraltaani9510 I took it apart
Excuse me, have you changed the camshaft sensor and the crankshaft sensor?
yes
@@ricotheunprofessional where does the crankshaft sensor go?
@e36_dapper48 google it up. There are pictures online that show you exactly where it is.
@@ricotheunprofessional ok gracias
Fuel regulator is your problem or leaky injectors
actually they are not
Its ur ccv valve bro, change it out and remove ur dip stick tube it is blocked up with crap
it was not lol. it was a broken piston ring

@@itsskylerrr7716 I can't tell you what I "think" it is without running the test or actually check the timing. both are easy to do
@@itsskylerrr7716 and no, never got firball coming out of the intake. Your valves shouldve been sealed during combustion stroke
