I have a question. Please let me know your thoughts about an installation of an M20B20 engine and automatic transmission that must be installed into an e36 1993 which originally was M42 engine. The car is originally automatic. I know is an old engine but certainly is the only one I have .

Hello Friend, Where can I buy the complete exhaust. I'm from Chile, thank you
What are all those dang vaccuum lines for? Im deleting everything i can, and tryna minimize shit.
@jacksin3323 I just wanted to keep it as stock as possible, didn't want to add or delete too many things. Maybe one day I'll completely simplify the engine for cleaner looking engine bay

How to assemble carburetor in take on e36 engine
hey man how did you get your headers to fit onto ur exhaust looks like they don’t align with my ISR exhaust help! :(
Your left and right coilovers are swapped in the front, the sway bar end link mount on the coilover should be in the front of the shock so that the link is straight up and down when mounted. Thanks for making this video series, I recently bought a 92 325i non vanos as a drift project and there has been a lot of useful info so far.
you might be right, but I ended up mounting it on the control arm.
@ricotheunprofessional yeah I saw the change, I went through and watched all the videos in the Playlist today. Thanks for posting all these video and sharing info on drifting these cars as you went through your journey
@tireshredder4208 I appreciate the support man! I will make some more videos soon.
the headers link is expired, do you know where i can find them?

@@ricotheunprofessional alright thanks anyway
Hey man, i know this vid was ling ago but did u ever wnd up doing the brake lines and if so how?
heyhey, honestly I just bought a premade kit and connected everything. Nothing too special. I haven't worked on this chassis in awhile but hopefully soon I'll have time to get back to it and maybe make a video about how I routed everything. It's been awhile and I don't even remember what parts I bought for it.
Good day, sir. Unrelated to your video, but I would like to know where does that vacuum hose from the icv go to? That thin hose on the side?
I think I might know what you're talking about. Shoot me a message on IG I'll send you a pic to be sure we talking about the same hose @rico_theunprofessional

Not too sure how you worked out your oil ? And oil filter how is that getting cooled 😅 do you have over heating issues
Run a sandwich plate, oil cooler, and relocation kit. Trust me.
Ciao quanto costa questo kit?
how are these doing thinking of getting them for a coupe but have seen comments saying that they just fall out. did you have to do any mounting points to the door? thanks
they don't fall out as long as you have the pin to hold them in place, but they do get yellow after a few years. No mounting points needed for me.
@ricotheunprofessional sounds good, think imma end up getting them as my bmw was built from a shell so all the wiring is shot. Figured it would be cheaper and easier to just do this instead of searching for window motors, and the harness
was all the trouble worth it?
It definitely sounds nice. And I'd just look up e36 equal length header on ebay.
cant find those headers on ebay, how much where they?
Wait. What?! All you had to do was buy the $30 3M light restoration kit (the one with sand paper and a buffer for any drill) and bulbs. I have the same 4Runner you do and when the lights get yellowed and oxidized, I use the resto kit on them. Takes probably 20 min a side. smh
welp, I didn't want to do that knowing that's an option. not everybody has to do what you wanna do lol
why does it not fit an automatic trans?
im sure it's the size/shape of the trans itself. It says on their website that this doesn't fit the automatic trans.
@@ricotheunprofessional i saw you think its possible to make it fit?
@vrmood7948 I think so, because visually they aren't that different. But I also could be wrong. I'd look into the product to find out why exactly it wouldn't fit, or email ISR and ask them directly.

May or may not see this but worth a shot. Does the SLR kit make a lot of noise for slow speed maneuvers like in parking lots? I ask because the angle kit I got for my Mustang is noisy as all hell, but I'm switching to E36 chassis soon and dont wanna make the same mistake.
I never drove it on the street enough to hear the noise from the angle kit. The car itself is loud so even if it did, i wouldn't have noticed lol. Funny you're switching from mustang to e36, I just got a 2013 gt lol

Hey bro what’s the name of the the seal’s and gaskets I would new to do a engine refresh like you did ??
I just got my first BMW (92 325is). I am tearing it down to remove the head and replace the blown head gasket. This seems to be the same engine as in this video (non- vanos) and all of the videos I have been watching to become familiar with this process have vanos, so I am trying to find other videos showing the process without vanos. Have you come across any or do you have any suggestions? I bought the cam lock/vanos tool kitbefore I realized mine was non vanos, but I guess the cam lock will still be needed. I am at the point where the timing chain is to be removed, but am a little nervous that the process might be somehow different than the videos i've seen. Any help would be appreciated.

Really good video, im gonna be using this to paint my E36 engine bay. Was just thinking matte black for durability. Was thinking of not using any sort of clear coat
Thank you! I dont think the clear coat is necessary unless it's a show car, as for durability, as long as you sand the original paint throughly and spray it well, it will hold for a long time.
i have the same exhaust and i just got the same headers. what size bolts did u use to connect the headers to the exhaust?
I just used the bolts that came in the package.
Any chance you’d be willing to make a breakdown of the different tools and sockets needed for each job you did. Super helpful video. But wanted to ask since something like that would be helpful to be organized in the process
I'll try in the future videos. I've done a few for simpler jobs, but since I just wanted to get this done, I just went for it.

You can't physically tighten the hydro, you can make sure to bleed it well, and change to high friction pads (make sure it's high friction at low operating temp) and if that's still ot enough, you can try to get a smaller master cylinder
