@BMW750MG The cold air not blowing could be the blower resistor motor. Its a quick fix and the part can be found online for cheap. Or it could be that you have a leak in the AC system somewhere. Check the fuses, too.

Disconnect the battery and make sure your engine is top dead center before starting it with the new sensor. If the engine is not top dead center, it will cause issues and make you think the sensor is bad.

If it's the IVM, that's a simple fix as well. Just make sure the battery is unplugged when you swap it out. It should be located under the passengerside cabin filter housing. You'll have to remove the cover and unplug several harnesses.

Nice video, why did you change the crankshaft sensor any issues with the Engine or fault codes on OBD ??

Thank you! The car started idling erratically and seemed like it wanted to shut off when stopped. When I used my scan tool through the OBD, it said the crankshaft was bad.
One thing I need to add, and I may do another video on this, the crank has to be top dead center and the battery has to disconnected during install. The car was still having the same symptoms after I replaced the sensor until I did the other steps.

@serbanady1726 that's weird and I bet it's a pain to get to. Does he have a 750Li? I've never seen them anywhere else on that model except at the rear of the engine.
