  • This is a comparison video of the Alstom ONIX Motor.
    Personal thoughts:
The London Underground Northern Line 1995TS’s motor sounds a bit similar to the Singapore MRT Circle Line C830’s, and the London Underground Jubilee Line 1996TS’s motor sounds a bit similar to the Singapore MRT North-East Line C751A, but in my opinion, the 1996TS’s motor is way cooler sounding than the C751A’s motor.

Yes. It’s Motor sounds a bit like the C751A, which is why I went to London. It is for me to record the motor sounds of the 1995 and 1996 stocks so that I can compare them with the C830 and C751A.

I compare the North East line to the Elizabeth line. Both are purple, both are powered by overhead wires and pantographs, both have stations that feel very similar.

For the Acceleration sounds, I prefer for the C751A on the North East Line.
But for Speed, Prefer the 1995 TS.

i think if the c751a had a faster acceleration, then perhaps it would sound more similar to the jubilee

Ngl, the C751A is diffrent from the 1996TS as the 1996TS has an extra engine thing at the 2nd part.
And the 1995TS and the C830 sounds diffrent but not simullar because the first part sounds like a electric train but it is not

but the nicknames for both of those trains
      C751A: EMU train
1996TS: EMU also but c751a copycat
Class 465/365: EMU also but basically the knockoff for 1996TS and C751A

fact: c751a use a electric cabling while 1995 stock does not

The 1995 stock use third rail. The C751A’s “electric cabling” is the overhead catenary system.
