  • The first of the compilation of train videos, this covers all Alstom Metropolis, Alstom Metropolis and other older rolling stock motor sounds. This video showcases the progression of technology from the older and musical GTO-VVVF traction control system, then to the IGBT-VVVF Alstom Onix, and more recently the Shanghai Alstom supplied Alstom Optonix traction control.
Which Alstom rolling stock is your favourite? Which other train video compilations would you like to see? Let us know in the comments below, and if you like more of these do subscribe to our channel!
Do you know: All of these videos were previous published on our channel. Check our cards if you wish to take an extended virtual ride on these Alstom trains!
List of trains featured in this video:
    Part A. GTO-VVVF
    1. London Underground 1996 Stock, Jubilee Line - 0:00 0:53
    2. KTM Komuter Class 92 - 0:26
    3. Alstom Metropolis C751A, North-East MRT Line - 1:10 2:07
    Part B. Alstom Onix IGBT-VVVF

    2. Alstom Metropolis C830C, Circle MRT Line - 7:15 8:21
    3. Alstom Metropolis C751C, North-East MRT Line - 7:42 8:42
[Update on Incorrect Pitch]: An investigation found that the frame rate was exported too low, causing the lower pitch. The video editing software has limitations on the frame rates we are allowed to be exported. We managed some sort of a fix for future videos for now, but perhaps when we manage to afford to acquire an Adobe Premiere Pro license that would a long-term solution. Thank you for your patience!

Yes and Busan Line 2 no??But they aren't Metropolis train,in any case, not all...they are Koreean trains with GEC-Alstom Inverters GTO VVVF.
The subject is "metropolis metros" which uses only VVVF Alstom (GEC Alstom)... this explains the absence of the metro from Seoul ... moreover the creator of the video has surely not yet been to Korea (from Australia ).
He has not yet been able to go to Paris which uses Metropolis trains and other models which uses GEC Alstom inverters
