  • The third of the compilation of train videos covers the most recent of melodic traction control system, the Toshiba PMSM (Permanent magnet synchronous motor). They can be found on SMRT's Kawasaki C151 (and in future, refurbished Siemens C651) rolling stock, Tokyo Metro 1000 series, 16000 series, Hankyu 1000 Series and more recently in many other refurbished rolling stock including Keio, Seibu, JR East and Hankyu!
Which Toshiba PMSM rolling stock is your favourite? Which other train video compilations would you like to see? Let us know in the comments below, and if you like more of these do subscribe to our channel!
[Update on Incorrect Pitch]: An investigation found that the frame rate was exported too low, causing the lower pitch. The video editing software has limitations on the frame rates we are allowed to be exported. We managed some sort of a fix for future videos for now, but perhaps when we manage to afford to acquire an Adobe Premiere Pro license that would a long-term solution. Thank you for your patience!
