- The third of the compilation of train videos covers the most recent of melodic traction control system, the Toshiba PMSM (Permanent magnet synchronous motor). They can be found on SMRT's Kawasaki C151 (and in future, refurbished Siemens C651) rolling stock, Tokyo Metro 1000 series, 16000 series, Hankyu 1000 Series and more recently in many other refurbished rolling stock including Keio, Seibu, JR East and Hankyu!
Which Toshiba PMSM rolling stock is your favourite? Which other train video compilations would you like to see? Let us know in the comments below, and if you like more of these do subscribe to our channel!
[Update on Incorrect Pitch]: An investigation found that the frame rate was exported too low, causing the lower pitch. The video editing software has limitations on the frame rates we are allowed to be exported. We managed some sort of a fix for future videos for now, but perhaps when we manage to afford to acquire an Adobe Premiere Pro license that would a long-term solution. Thank you for your patience!

Tokyo Metro train's PMSM Motor is Better than others
@@SMBRProductions yea
I never knew Toshiba made railcar motors until now. Learn something new every day!
Yes, they have only become more popular recently.
Toshiba got trians in Argentina since the 50s ..

เมืองไทยก็มีรถไสีง😊😊
I hope the refurbished C651 has the strong motor as well just like these two C151 that i have known as the strongest motor.
Refurbed C651 all gone bruh
@@LunarTesting23 yeah cos the C651 upgrading failed :'(
@@BaySean mhm 😕
I know its gone but bruh that comment was two years ago
I like the SMRT C151 PMSM
I like all of them
I personally think Tangara Technology Upgrade (Sydney) really should've included replacement of the Mitsubishi DC-GTO chopper controls with Toshiba PMSM and SiC-VVVF.
That would be cool!
All you can **not** hear Toshiba PMSM! The newest generation is so quiet you don't notice when the train starts moving.
I wish we had PIDs (passenger information displays) like this up here in Brisbane... way more informative with how much is shown.
It would be particularly helpful in displaying train stopping patterns...though Sydney has the most confusing ones of all.
@@sgbuses Pls Make You Can Hear BTS MRT ARL PLS!
Some of the trains tend to sound like the OpenBVE Yishun LRT.
because they are of course
Our Kyiv Metro has E-KM train, on Toshiba.
I like C151 PMSM (095/096) and (131/132) cause the PMSM strong.
Now 095/096 sounds robotic. The strong motor is better
@@EthanGaming_YT but not the strongnest gone
You forgot Keio 8000 Series, they also use PMSM
Soon! I will be back.
Do a mrt doors are closing singapore version
How can you forget Keikyu N1000 1367F???
Why did that first train make an odd whoosh before it started moving?
It's the brakes being released.
7:58 replacement motor sound for C151. What's that trainset no? 055-056, 109-110?
These are the C151’s with PMSM:
025/026
055/056
065/066
095/096
109/110
131/132
@Nopuu Juujuju …so? (not tryna be toxic but found it irrelevant for this comment)
@Nopuu Juujuju ok
@@LunarTesting23 see how did i saw you there again? Are you comment all?
I wonder what will the C651 PMSM sound like?
Transportation ONLY! it still sounds like c151 with pmsm
@@BlueChickenDesigns Correct
Like C341
@@EthanGaming_YT there was a video of a C651 during late night test and the sound was the same as the C151 PMSM
@@TransportationONLY In my opinion, they sound like the Taipei Metro C341's Siemens IGBT-VVVF.
Ginger 1
why did you change pitch?
my favorites are 0:01 to 0:09
7:46 to 9:04 is also my favorite
I'm gonna try to board the train at 0:01 and 1:17 to listen to the most favorite PMSM motor on my Japan visit next year.
That sound likes smrt
Nguuuuuunggg ngiiiiiiiiiinggg
Do all you can hear Mitsubishi SiC
Yep, that's on the to-do list!
Why it low pitch
Do adtranz next
I might actually do that!
@@sgbuses To hear the Adtranz (motor sound), you may want to go to Manila Philippines and to see 2G trains (4 sets running, 2 in Adtranz, 2 rehabilitated with new Voith Traction motors) in LRT-1.

音程低くね?
案の定音程が低いのはなんで?
idk
ちょっと音程低くないすか?
音程下げないでください‼️‼️‼️
None; I prefer the one from Keikyu N1000 1367F.
I don't like PMSM. Only Hankyu 1000 sounds good.
