I go to 2 estate sales around Metro Detroit, the first one in Brighton and the second one in Livonia where I seek out some new clocks to purchase and add to my collection! I end up purchasing a Seth Thomas Mantel clock in really nice condition!

The Hermle wall clock, sounds the same or very similar to the Howard Miller Tambour mantel clock!! Too bad the timekeeping is broken. I’m happy to see You got yourself a new clock that it was on sale.

It does and it's too bad, the Hermle I was considering but sadly it didn't run so I didn't want to bother buying it.

@@Jamestube8439 Right. The high 💲 cost made this a disadvantage of purchasing it. If You were to buy that You’d be having at least two clocks, within your collection that would sound the same based on the chiming key wound movement type. I wish that wall clock would be keeping time as long as it should, but doesn’t. Looks like it’ll have to get serviced maybe or another to choose like have it being oiled or cleaned for yourself, if the purchase were to be made from You. Nice clock anyways, such as a Seth Thomas mantel clock with a gong I think with a broken half hour & hour strike.

@@magnamonium1054 that’s true and honestly I wouldn’t really want anymore that sound the same, unless the model and the clock itself is rare or just looks really cool to me

@@Jamestube8439 I can see why because it’s good to have every single clock with different chiming sounds. Also the rarity of the design of clocks and model is something You are right about.

@@magnamonium1054 Exactly, anything rare or unique is what I tend to put in higher priority of purchasing.
