Very useful - saved me a fortune to renew my DC33 clutch myself. Works like new again, good for another 15 years.

I agree! We got this as wedding gift almost 15 years ago in 2009. And the only repairs I've done are recorded on my channel with are next to none. Our is still going strong!

These vacs are amazing and so easy to repair. Dysons best product and user repair friendly. The newer balls are garbage and impossible to repair. Ill take my DC33, thank you.

Yep! We got ours after we got married and it’s been working great for 15 years! I went through three vacuums in about 9 months before getting this one!

@MCFIXIT Nice! We had a original DC07 from 2005-11 until the motor died. Bought our current DC33 in 2011 and haven't looked back. Cleaned and PM'd, these vacs are the strongest vacs ever made. Quick tip, soak the entire canister in a mild Citric Acid and water mix, for 24 hours, rinse and let drip dry for 24. Cleans all the detritus out of the Cyclone cylinders and post canister filters.
Edit. How the heck you kept the stickers on that long is beyond amazement.

GREAT TIP! I've not tried that, but I can see how it would definitely help. I am not sure about the stickers, lol; it gets used very often, and I have been moved cross-country twice.

Yes, they are very weirdly designed. This is the first issue we’ve had in over 14 years so I’ll take that over the number of vacuums I went through in less than a year or two.

Try to wiggle it back and forth. Sometimes they stick a little... or at least mine has in the past. Did you get it to work? Any tips if so?
