This video should work on Dyson D14 and similar models like the DC33. It should be very similar for models of Dyson.

Very useful - saved me a fortune to renew my DC33 clutch myself. Works like new again, good for another 15 years.
I agree! We got this as wedding gift almost 15 years ago in 2009. And the only repairs I've done are recorded on my channel with are next to none. Our is still going strong!
Great video Makes it easier to attempt tasks like this when someone shows how to do it. CZcams can be so useful in this regard. Thanks again,
Thanks for your comment and watching my video. That’s why I love CZcams so much too!
Thanks for the video it was simple easy to follow finally got the dyson dc33 working thanks again
Great to hear! Thanks for commenting!
Just what I needed! Thanks
Glad I could help! Thanks for commenting!
These vacs are amazing and so easy to repair. Dysons best product and user repair friendly. The newer balls are garbage and impossible to repair. Ill take my DC33, thank you.
Yep! We got ours after we got married and it’s been working great for 15 years! I went through three vacuums in about 9 months before getting this one!
@MCFIXIT Nice! We had a original DC07 from 2005-11 until the motor died. Bought our current DC33 in 2011 and haven't looked back. Cleaned and PM'd, these vacs are the strongest vacs ever made. Quick tip, soak the entire canister in a mild Citric Acid and water mix, for 24 hours, rinse and let drip dry for 24. Cleans all the detritus out of the Cyclone cylinders and post canister filters.
Edit. How the heck you kept the stickers on that long is beyond amazement.
GREAT TIP! I've not tried that, but I can see how it would definitely help. I am not sure about the stickers, lol; it gets used very often, and I have been moved cross-country twice.
7:38 i just sliced my thumb open because i followed your instructions on how to remove this plastic knob and it wouldn’t work. There’s gotta be a better way
OMG! I HATE DYSON!!! What a hasslel!! I'm giving mine away!
Yes, they are very weirdly designed. This is the first issue we’ve had in over 14 years so I’ll take that over the number of vacuums I went through in less than a year or two.
I'll take it..best sweeper out their
@@Cosmo__Kramer I disagree. I find Kirby does a better job and all parts are easily accessible and replaceable.
@@lorenal6137 I just replaced the clutch on my Dyson it was easy and took only about 20 minutes..Kirby is a good brand..my mom used them..but they are very expensive and heavy..Dyson is consistently in the top 2 or 3 in vacumes
Lmfao! Found the Kirby salesperson.
Man, I’m struggling to get the part off that you push with your foot before vacuuming! I def don’t want to break it… any suggestions??
Try to wiggle it back and forth. Sometimes they stick a little... or at least mine has in the past. Did you get it to work? Any tips if so?
@@MCFIXIT I wiggled, and just pulled hard. It came loose eventually but I used a lot more force!!
Yeah I broke mine
Where did you get the clutch?
I got mine from Amazon. Here's a link: Dyson Clutch Assembly [900252-04]- amzn.to/3O3QGc9
