🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:

It's so easy to make your own peanut butter. I just made some today. Took about 10 minutes. I literally just put peanuts in the blender and blended them until it was smooth. Love your videos Dr.Ekberg! Thank you!! I am living in the wonderful mountains in the south of Brazil. I came from Michigan a year ago. Most of the subjects you are showing are still a common place here. Our cows only eat grass, we have many olive oil farms, hens run freely all day long and they only go the henhouse at night due to the predators in the area. The region of Minas Gerais has a mild weather all year round and one of the most famous products they have here are dairy products. The soil is super rich and we fertilize it with the organic cows manure. The water is fresh clean mineral water and is plentiful all over the place. Our farm has 7 springs. Hey Doc had an idea for a video that I personally would find beneficial: A video for someone who has been living very unhealthy who just wants a fresh start, what would be a “starter kit” grocery store trip that contains enough balanced foods for meals and snacks for maybe a week to try and start with a clean slate on life? Like imagine I throw out my entire fridge and delete my food delivery apps and just want a completey fresh start. I think that would be an awesome watch.

A good start at least would be to stop buying processed foods. Start buying real, whole food (fresh, dried or frozen) like whole vegetables and whole fruit that you need to wash and prepare. Similarly, buy whole or visibly identifiable pieces of animals/sealife/birds Eg, eggs, chicken portions, fish fillets with the skin on etc. Avoid foods that aren't whole plants or animals/portions of animals. Avoid all additives, whether they're "natural" or not. Make your own condiments etc from scratch. Avoid foods that you're sensitive/allergic to..Avoid canned food. Avoid eating out or getting takeout food. There's waasy more but just as a starter if you can get into the habit of eating what humans are designed to eat would be a good start although eating food types that your ancestors ate if possible and eating seasonally helps..

I'm a 66yr old Englishman who for decades, has been overweight despite listening to Govt & medical advice regarding diet. Most of this time was pre-cellphone or internet of course, so we had to take the knowledge of the time as being factual.
Since around 2016, after moving to the US & living here for a number of years (and getting heavier!) I began looking into diets again, after many types I'd tried back home. I began with Nutri-slim which was both costly and not especially successful and this prompted research online and finally to this site.
Following & learning these principles has been nothing short of miraculous. I still have weight to lose after being Keto & IF but just lately on OMD, I'm trying carnivore and it appears to have kick started weight loss again, at no loss of energy or any hunger pangs.
I'm due to return to the UK before year-end and will have much less choice of foods which are 'normal fare' in the UK but I can recognise that 'more' doesn't mean 'better'!
I've learned so much from Dr Sten Ekberg's videos and grateful for his knowledge, although I'll never get to his level of fitness, I feel!

It's really delicious though I only have a small glass with dinner and however much I need on my keto-type cereal, which is really just nuts, seeds, and coconut. It usually tastes fine even after the use-by date. I also get raw cheese (grass-fed), and sometimes I even make my own yogurt, which is pretty fantastic. I don't think dairy is bad for most people, and at times it really hits the spot.

In fact there are other metrics we need to consider like how many hours of Dr. Sven's videos people watch. That is more relevant. Suffice it to say, that the content Dr. Sven produces may be relevant to a specific community of people only and he's reaching out to exactly those that would watch him on a regular basis and keep coming back for more. That is in fact a great indicator of success. Hope that helps. 😀

It was many years before I understood what she meant ...... we get ill from bad eating habits ...we get well from good ones. The body has an inherent need to be well and if we feed it the right foods it will indeed come back to health.
We also have to be careful not to 'think' ourselves into illness.
Dr. Eckberg is genius at explaining who, what , why ,when, and how...gotta love that.... no more excuses!! I recommend him to all I can!!

This is an amazingly important video. I watch a lot of health videos and this one, in my opinion, is the most valuable, well explained and complete. Thank you so much.

I tried the three day fast Dr. Ekberg prescribed but forgot to mention to wear a diaper on the second day because some farts can be eye openers 😬😁👍🇨🇦
I lost about 7 to 8 pounds and felt very good afterwards !
Love your videos Doc ! Keep them coming !👍🙏🇨🇦

There is so much golden information here. I encourage anyone to watch the whole thing, even if not all at once. Seriously, it's your health, and literally no one else is going to give you this info. Thank you doctor. I live in Palestine. 👋🇵🇸

I just love this channel !!! Makes total sense and it works ... one step at a time I'm eating what I should and want, not what's been marketed by the industry or whacked over the head by old fashioned nutritionists!

Love this channel, Dr. Ekberg is great...but getting your hands on grass-fed beef, free range chikens and eggs and things like that is pretty hard - at least in my country (Czech Republic), because these foods are usually really expensive or not available at all. So it's nice to know what kind of eggs and meat to eat, but actually getting it is usually the bigger problem. Just saying :)

Chickens don't eat grass. Chickens should be free range. Meat should be grass fed or and preferably grass finished. Fish should be wild caught.

I know this is an old comment but I'll post a reply anyway in case anyone else is having this dilemma:
While still not ideal, the lower-quality beef, chicken, eggs, fish, etc. are still gonna be leagues better for you than foods rife with sugar, processed grains and oils, and foods you're allergic to. That's ultimately what it's more about: avoiding foods you can't safely eat. So if you can only get grain-fed beef, commodity eggs, etc. that's okay. While the absolute best possible option IS still the higher-quality meat, don't feel like that means you can't eat the lower-quality meat and still be better off.
