Kimi is the most charismatic driver in all of racing, when he retires the sport will be worse, there is not a disingenuous bone in his body, which is more than I can say for any other driver, although Ricardo doesn’t seem like a bad guy.

@mako zero I'm sure you already know this but SCCA racing is a less expensive alternative. Fun too. I've never raced but as a teenager I followed both Grand Prix and sports car racing. That was so long ago that F1 was still 1500cc.

Met Daniel in 2013 when he was with Torro Rosso. Such a chill person. Always smiling.
A lot of the drivers are so damn serious and quiet, like they don't want to talk to anybody. Daniel is the complete opposite.
Your comment made me wonder if there's a high percentage of introverts in the sport. School and most workplaces are structured in favor of extroverts but in racing it's the driver, the car and the road. You don't have to talk to people all that much except when you're not on the track doing your real job. When engine, tires, suspension etc are uppermost in your mind, someone sticking a mic in your face asking questions must look like an invader from another planet.

To be fair, I think he's exaggerating to get the point across that Danny Ric is more jovial than average. He's got 7 minutes and each question he asks has to be framed so the audience can even understand why he's asking.
That said I love that Trevor is getting F1 drivers on his show. It's so cool to see an F1 fan using his platform to spread the love of the sport
You can't talk to or see Danny without you smiling as that HUGE smile of his is just iconic.

That's a mark of a great interviewer, Trevor noticed that he was not getting any answer on 'what songs Ricciardo sings', so he turned that into his own answer to keep the audience entertained. Trevor does this really well.
In South Africa, in my family, Sundays were meant for Sunday Roast and Formula 1. I remember watching with my dad and uncle and was facinated👀 by their excitement.

I may get r/wooshed. But in f1 or any motor sport the "couches" are actually called race engineers, who give the driver information and orders that may be "let your team mate pass" "slow down to save your tyres" or tell them to change the tyres, and then there is the team strategist which tell the race engineer when to change the tyres.

He's the chillest and coolest F1 driver. He's the best smile and is always smiling. He's not been doing good from last couple of years because of the reliability issues of the car, but that doesn't put him down like it does other drivers
