F1 is so, so much bigger now than just 2 years ago, the audience reaction was like seeing an entertainment superstar...
The change is really only in the United States. F1 has been popular in the rest of the world for decades.

As an Aussie who is from Daniels hometown who has lived in the North East (NYC, Philly for 7 years combined) and now Texas for the last 3 years I would 100% vouch for Texans being nicer, happier people than up there.

As an American f1 who’s watched it for almost 12 years now I’m so delighted America has gotten so much more involved with it. Also out of all drivers picking Daniel to interview is almost always the best choice you can make 😂
I loved everything about this interview: how genuine both Trevor and Daniel are; how amazing the vibe between them is and of course, the shoey.

Daniel Ricciardo is such a legend. His character will be missed in F1 when he retires.
People may not know this but Daniel is one of the great late brakers of this sport. Shame he doesn't always have a great car to challenge for the championship

If it wasnt because im Danish and therefore rather biased when it comes to F1 drivers, i would totally root for Daniel... hes a brilliant driver, always go happy type of guy and always a gentleman.
Ricciardo is my favorite driver, but Magnussen is my second favorite.

The fact that I've been rooting for all underdogs on F1 and drive to survive has made even the midfield and bottom tier teams popular among viewers. All teams deserve the recognition even if they're at the back.
