Lando!
Lando face is ok?
@@Bryan-wr4ri yeah, check instagram :)
Lando not knowing the first one is the most Lando thing ever
In fairness, I heard Martin use that expression once and Crofty wad confused also, but found it funny. I think he thought it was just one of those Martin-isms.
I’ve genuinely never heard that saying either
Bro i’m 100% british and i’ve never heard that before in my life 😭😭
@@georgewba6245 You can also say "about as much use as a chocolate fireguard".
@@purpledahlia1969 well im from Birmingham and have never heard that in my life. Might have to ask my Mom and Dad as they are probably at an age where that is used more commonly haha
Can we all appreciate the perfectly symmetrical background?
OMG YES I thought nobody else noticed! Made my day that!
Mclaren innit....they've been like that for ages 🤣
it’s so satisfying
they hired Wes Anderson for this video
"He's peng *well I wouldn't say that I'd say she's peng* "
Real smooth Lando.
he is making sure we know his preferences😂
I love to see how Daniel is invested in knowing cultural things of each country. It's just amazing 👏
Daniel should probably invest more time in knowing the McLaren F1 car through simulator testing so he can catch up to Lando in points and podiums.
@@SilverScarletSpider 💀
Well, as an Australian 🇦🇺, it’s not too hard to understand UK or USA cultural differences since we’re mostly the same - especially when all entertainment content we consume is either from those two nations lol
@@SilverScarletSpider he is but his driving style that made him very successful needs some McLaren improvements for example sturdier front axles just like in Red Bull .... The moment McLaren learns to refine its car handling like the top cars eg Red Bull is the moment Dan gets back to winning.
@@bales1569 I did not refer to English speaking countries but in general
I love how proper Lando sounds saying these. Spenny and leng were two of my favourites
Peng**

Lando looks different here. His face seems like it was recently smashed by a competitive Aussie.
It was accidental. RIC didn't do it on porpoise. 😵
Danny Ric hit that fucker with a 5 second penalty for speeding.
Along came Q2
🤣
RIC fans do what Ric fans always do … 😂
I wanna see Zac Brown do American slang with Lando and Daniel
YESSSSS
You Liddle tweeb
YESSSSSS
I’d pay to see that
“ A river dirty”
Id love to see these two play innuendo bingo with F1 quotes. The recording of George saying “Bottoming didn’t seem so bad” would be a masterpiece
LMFAOOOO THAT QUOTE
please yes
3:29 Daniel be like "sometimes my genius is almost frightening"
"Ick"
"Aah! John Wick's Half Brother"
"Well done" [2:16] 👏👏👏👏
John Wick was actually hanging around the paddock today.
"also my turn to learn British slang" 😂😂😂
I can never work out the dynamic between these two 😂 absolutely love them tho, both are absolute legends
It's weird that people expect them to be all rainbows and sunshine all the time.. sometimes one or both will be in a bad mood or annoyed with the other, and that's totally normal.
I feel like it’s a very brother relationship, they’re kind of awkward but you can tell they have fun with each other.
Daniel literally threw a giant rubber ball at Lando’s face trying to break his nose because he was salty that he could not keep up on track.
@@SilverScarletSpider Lando just taught you what a melt is. Don't be one.
I think they’re definitely on good terms, but lando’s sense of humor is just drier lol so sometimes they seem awkward. Plus the age difference is quite large so they can’t relate on some things. But I mean it seems like they have good times and get along well; they’re both goofballs so they’re fun to watch imo 😂 they have a good amount of overlap in their humor I think
Riccardo really knows most of the British Slangs, seems like they speak English in Australia 🤔
A lot of British slang makes its way around, even in like Toronto we use some.
yeah we use a lotnof british slang here in Toronto. never knew they were british
Lot of British slang makes its way over to Australia. Most Australians know a fair bit or could at least guess the meanings easily, especially millennials and Gen Z. Older gen would know rhyming slang a bit more since Australians have their own derivatives.
The 'stralians are WAY better at English than the Septics.
I'm from sweden and I knew most of them lol
Lando and Danny just gonna go hop in the whips and score some good points tomorrow!!!
Tomorrow.
tomorrow
They'll be grafting hard to get that dub and the trophy for the gaff of McLaren
@@officialWWM qualifying today. Could be pivotal in scoring points
@@Nave6W p6. Pretty good! I hope they’ll get a podium.. :))
Lando laughing at cream crackered … love the childish side coming through there ahaha
and at peak😂
“oh you, melt!” perfection 🤌🏻
What does it mean ?
@@CtrlAltMoto melt is like idiot
3:28 Lando missing his own leg is highlight of this video! :D
Perhaps he had just realized he was wearing black socks with white pants and white shoes.
Lando : you are a …
Danny : Beautiful person !!
Lando : Wobber
Lmao
I wish they could do Scottish slang next, have them both guess and struggle, it would be so funny 😆
They could do it with Coulthard; as he is Scottish and an ex Mclaren driver. I'd love that.
Not sure whether his relationship with Red Bull permits him to do promo with another team though? 🤔
Top of the morning to you
@@h8ngg Daniel saying that thinking the guy was Irish was so funny 😭🤣
it would be difficult to find appropriate language for scottish slang😭
@@marsimus13 true true hahaha
I swear McLaren Brings out the BEST content for the fans. 🙏😭
redbull…
Just sad they can’t do it on the track consistently
Redbull AT and McLaren
Pity they can’t build a fast car…
@@NotRigoroid811 great bromance there
The producers of this spent the morning on Urban dictionary lol.
Hopefully lando is doing well after his reconstructive face surgery.
I’ve never heard “wobbler”, I’ve heard “throwing a wobbly”! This was fun. 😂
throwing a "wobbly"? it's defo a "wobbler" chap
@@clippzzorito1420 it's deffs 'throwing a wobbly' by most people's account
idk what wobbler you lot know but whenever i'm talking about a wobbler i'm talking about dnb LMFAOOO.

Upset a Kiwi and they'll chuck a wobbly, just sayin'
thank you for the video!!
learning slang is my favorite contents hehe🤩
you guys will have a great points!!!!! good luck!!!😆😆
I've been waiting for this thank you so much.
Also I love seeing people try to guess the cockney rhyming ones haha very happy they included some
Think this might be the earliest I have ever been! This is what we love McLaren, cannot wait to see you in Monza!
Peng means cold in Malaysian slang (a dialect of chinese to be accurate) so Daniel’s pretty close there haha
Which dialect?
@@SilverScarletSpider Means money in norwegian
Really?! I'm Malaysian and I don't even know it 😱
think he means Peng like ice lol
I think you mean “leng”? Because it’s an English slang for attractive but it also means cold in Chinese (冷)
*To the admin:* was this before or after the space hopper incident?
-a curious spectator
Melt & Drip must be some show where Drip always gets himself into trouble and Melt saves him at the end.
And then Wetty, their sidekick dog
Amazing! Most entertaining video on the web. Go Daniel!
"Peng!" is also used in German as an onomatopoeic word like "Bang!" in English. And when something is "peng", it is "a banger".
Allways brightens my mood when I see these 2
Thankyou for the follow up video mclaren I hope theres a video of someone helping ricciardo improve his texan accent in austin
“and i’m daniel ricciardo” 🤣🤣
My two favourite drivers good luck for the weekend lads 👍🏻
ah its you ... melt.
had me rolling 😂😂😂
YES I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A BRITISH VERSION OF THIS
That was awesome!
Lando: You are...
Danny: ...beautiful!
Me: agreed!
Well this will be very useful for the future thanks Mclaren
"Oh, you! ...Melt!"
Ohhh how I’ve been waiting for this
LOVE THE OUTRO 🧡
6:50 That's a slick card throw right there!
Daniel using the word 'numpty' had me in tears
These two are the best
Nice touch having a Senna and a Hunt book in the back!
glad to see that lando's face is okay🙏🏻
What happened? I must have missed it
@@nb5522 space hopper
this is brilliant
Danny - you did so well!! I have to say that the English slang has evolved since the 80's!! I would have probably tied with or less than Lando 😉😅 Good on boys!!! 🤩❤❤
Hope you both have a great race
Landaniel's Enjoying videos! Well done, guys!
Looooollll the introoo🤣🤣
I have liked listening to the different from Australian Slang and how it is for Daniel Ricciardo being testing by Lando Norris on British Slang words.
The symmetry of the room makes me feel good.
English- ick
Australia- icky
English- wobbler
Australia- wobbly
I reckon you’d have been better off getting Daniel to teach Lando these 🤣🤣
can we just appreciate that melt apparently means "An insult describing a person who has fallen for someone and gone soft" and they are saying it to each other meaning they are both in love and gone soft that's just so cute😊😊😊
IKKKK it’s literally so adorable but no one is talking abt it
This video is mint init
“we’re not just pretty faces are we? well i’m not a pretty face.”
make your mind up dan😭
I am dead 😂😂😂😂 yooo mr. Avacodo got me in pieces 2:15 John wick's half brother 😂😂😂 what was he even doing there wonder how much that outing cost
The quality of this video is insane, great work! Looks super sharp and great color
Danny knowing more British slang than me 🤣🤣🤣
Danny has one of those personalities & smile that you know you could be instant friends with.
I'm loving this one 🇬🇧
Melt and drip, sounds like a comedy duo. 😂
“Oh it’s you melt”🤣
Can we get Zak teaching the boys american slang?
pls this comment needs more likes
I’m so glad they went full circle since the Australia gp
Daniel is a pretty face and worldly. He pretty much nailed this. I love this content. Great job, guys!
As a English person, I can confirm that 90% of the country do not use some of these words. ‘Whip, peng, peak, link, spenny’ is your typical london youth language, which says it all
conduct a survey did you?
I was hoping to see a bunch of stuff I know from Gavin Free and there was only one in that whole thing he has ever used. He should have made the list, he speaks in like 70% slang/words he makes up XD
the ones I hear the most are peak, peng, ick, and geezer (from near London)
Look out, granddad is on youtube!!!
Lol I’m from and live in Yorkshire and most of these words/phrases are used daily up here
They are just so freaking cute 🥺
i think lando want to speak aussie language 😂👍
Well done video Lando Norris and Daniel ricciardo
I love this 🧡😂🇬🇧
Daniel was melting in that blue Mclaren hoodie at the end
I thought "whip" was US slang for a car.
yeah i thought a lot of these were US slang cause i’ve heard these years and years ago, im no expert on slang origins but i also don’t believe mclaren are either lmao
as an australian ick is definitely a universal term
I'm 25 lived in England all my life and I've never heard of most of these
Try going outside mate, you’d need friends to hear most of these
@@HarryG98 There's quite a large regional (& subcultural - referring to music) element to it.
Lando-Peng
Daniel-when it's cold outside they say it's peng❤❤❤❤
Love you guys🧡❤🧡❤🧡🧡❤
Daniel: So in Aussie we'll say a drip. In England they say a melt.
Americans: This was in no way helpful.
i think it’s their equivalent to like a heartthrob/hottie
Unless the meaning has shifted recently or its a rare case of inconsistency between the slang of the two major antipodean nations, drip means dork, a social misfit like a geek or nerd without the redeeming qualities of the latter two.
As an Aussie , you would use it to describe something fashionable for example, like : “check out that guys drip”
"He's ok"
not Daniel leaving Lando waiting for the fusion 😭
the books in the back 👌
Love these guys. Keep them forever even if they don't drive :)
Danny is just the best.
Daniel....'Come check out my Gaff!' haha, good man. XD
Never heard of these slang words in my life! interesting!!
“Oh, you 👉🏼” Melt 🤣
hopefully at cota zak will teach some american slang
i really like the series]
DR in the outro nice 🧡
Whomever is in charge of the music deserves a raise 😎
Pretty good imo!
1:58, for me grafting is like grafting trees and that😂
idk what wobbler you lot know but whenever i'm talking about a wobbler i'm talking about dnb.
"ye man i was buzzing, dj had some ketty ketty wobblers."
When it's cold outside do they say it's peng?😂😂😂
