On the upside the wind and sand scoured away all the old skin cells leaving you with a newer, sexier you. You exfoliated in one day what others would spend a weekend in a spa to accomplish.
dafred9898 I look about 10 years younger
"It rubs the lotion on its skin, or else it gets the hose again."
If yiu want the sand blasted paint look
i have tips for you, when it's hot, you can take a survival mylar sheet and wrap everything you can inside that before stuffing them in your bags(it's very light). and pour water on your bags. soaking wet. it will be an extra weight to carry (until it dries out) but the advantage is, it acts like an intercooler and sucks the heat out of the bags and helps to preserve the food and liquids at a decent temp. really cheap tips and very useful. one sheet is few cents or a $.
Chris has some right bangers on this trip, Funeral For A Friend!
tommonik hell yes!!
Bicycling across Mars looks pretty hard
Cycling adventure, Funeral for a friend and Finch = Living the life! well done boys.
dexterholland91 rolling back to my youth haha
Chris Hall I was as well just watching it :) 👍
Summertime rides when it’s 40° plus rolling into a fierce headwind feeling like your inside a tumble dryer and the heat saps your energy and your resolve dry. Welcome to hell Mr Cade where drunken Koalas dance and magpies perform precision bombing. Great place to be otherwise 😀
Chris, have you published a video on how to create the cycling camera strap? Thanks
lol you can really tell both of you are get more and more exhausted just love the silly small talk
Well, Chris is managing to keep a smile on his face. He was super happy at the start and looks to be keeping his attitude in check. I think it's funny how we humans can laugh when things seem to be at their worst.
Keep it up, you two are doing great.
John Day, Francis and I chat about this a lot. We choose to do these things and are incredibly lucky to be able to. Relish in the tough times and enjoy the moment. It was flipping epic even if it was tough
@@ChrisHallRides I have never ridden anything remotely like what you all have done, the closest was a fully supported across state ride.
Maybe the closest thing would have to be a solo 200 miler I rode 2 yrs ago. Yes it was tough, hot, and mostly mentally challenging, but after I was finished I was thoroughly thrilled to have done it. I am only a recreational rider, I don't train, and ride whenever and as much as life allows. I was 50 yrs old at the time, was having probably the best year on the bike ever, and just decided the night before to just get up the next day and ride (Also there was literally no wind). You guys keep doing these awesome rides as much as possible while you're young, because Life has a way of sneaking up and changing your priorities.
John Day thanks for your reply! Yes we are just wanting to take advantage of these opportunities as much as we can. 200 miles is definitely not an easy ride! Well done smashing that!
7:00 i do beg your pardon?
LOL
Thanks guys. Keep on fighting! I`ve watched each and every posting. Longing to your next! Amazing!
Awesome series Francis. I used to live near Port Augusta in my childhood and I haven't been back since, I almost forgot what it looks like around there. It was great to see the visuals again, it brought back fantastic memories. Great job on the imagery and of course - the ride.
great music again! chewy sweet snakes and vanilla coke should really be sponsoring you, lol, loving this series of videos , ride safe!!
Loving the series guys doing a great effort
Top notch guys. B-Roll and music choices are perfect - keep it up! Good luck lads.
Thanks Greg, means a lot!
Good times!!!!! As always love the videos. Wish they were longer.
That wind looked brutal! Top notch effort!
The gift that keeps on giving 👍👌💪
So many time zones, you will be back before you started !! More Tasty Snakes 😁😁
Well done guys, keep up the great work! Russell
Yes funeral for a friend history!! Old school 😋
Yes! A bit of funeral for a friend at 3:52!
Michael Rammell 🤘🤘
I've been hearing some great old school emo/punkrock tracks in the background of these Australia videos. Takes me back!
wow, i feel your pain....that looked like the day when everything that has happened in the last 13 days came to a head, with loopy frustration. For anyone who has not been in a sandstorm of any degree it goes from stinging any exposed skin ( and eyes) , to drying your mouth and making your lungs feel ineffective....
Global Nomad you summed it up pretty dam well there. It was mental but also pretty cool to experience
I'm learning a lot of obscure pop culture references because of your videos, Francis. I would have never learned that chant from Tom Green if not for this, and now it's stuck in my head. Haha!
The intro absolutely broke me 😂
This is the second time "Letter to You" by Finch has been in the background - what a tune!
Russell Gowers amazing song!
No. It’s not letters to you. Funeral for a friend. Song is called History
Michael Rammell I bet you a million pounds that the song at 4:40 is Letters To You by Finch
40mph gusts due on my commute tomorrow. I feel your pain. 50 minutes isn't quite 5 hours plus though.
Tough going. I'm surprised you have time and energy to make the videos. Have to say thanks for sharing your journey although some would have given up long before this.
Proud of you warriors.
Your days should be getting longer since its southern hemisphere . Sorry about the winds guys. I hope its less tomorrow!. I live on the coast and those weird days where thr wind go from 18mph to 30mph for no real reason...
Hey Francis! Try using Windy.com for wind forecasts- 4 models, great visualisations, radar and observations too. Trust me; I’m a sailor! (No; I don’t work for them)
The weather gods are being good all things considered🇦🇺👍😎
Must get some attacus cycle kit looks pretty cool
Awesome soundtrack today
😂👍 stay vigilant, more traffic now
Windy days are the worst!
Different time zones is so the curtains don’t find lol 😊
Your cows will fade, and curtains will stop giving milk
Man you need corks on that MET helmet those flies would drive me insane.
You guys were delirious at the end of the vid....that day must have been tough!
Jason D it was haha
When you get to Port Augusta turn RIGHT.
Love this series!!! Watch out for your credit card numbers on screen.
Chris saying hello Mr. Bean style!
Did Chris play Sandstorm by Darude on the speaker
I didn't really think Chris was that entertaining before but he's actually quite a good laugh. Keep the gummy snake reviews coming..... 🐍
Ayaz Hossain watch some of the OLD videos
"Koalas on drugs." - Chris
That would be some trippy s***

Nullarbor lol
Why did Stan Lee not go with Iron Knob for the Marvel Universe?
I find the App "Windfinder" quite useful and pretty accurate
I'll install it on my pipboy for tomorrow
@@Cade_Media Ha...War never changes
I am amazed how much sweets nad coke you can take :)
good !
You two must be going mad because you’re getting funnier as the trip goes on.
Sausage song reminds me of Cubs... And court
I think after you make all your Australia videos you should make one long video of all of them together.
How do you know when you're cooked? When you don't give a shit about the 50 flies buzzing around your head.
Those black flies even bug me.
End Bit : )
I use the mobile app 'WindAlert' as a partner to the normal weather apps.
I've been meaning to ask what is the brand of the mirrors you use? Haven't seen those in the U.S.
They are from the Beam EU
Just bypass Snowtown guys uts a genuine horror town. When you getting into Adelaide?
We're in Adelaide! Leaving in the morning
FFAF #oldschool haha
Last storm
even the road #snakes :-)
If you’re taking port Wakefield rd be mindful of the trucks as that can be very sketchy
We haven't, went inland!
Bionic legs
Hmm, i could say i told you so. But i won’t, Perth through to the Eyre peninsula can experience strong winds, I had to deal with 40-80km squeals on Friday in Perth, was doing 9km and the bike moved sideways, a metre. It is not always like this, but still days are rare in this part of the world.
It would be boring if it was easy!
True, it is a long way, your doing splendid! A least you have had no big dramas accept the plug, but nothing so far with the bikes, best of luck for the second half.
Anyone care to share what wind app they’re using? I’d love to know!
Chris has dark skies which works well, I use Google which doesn't work well
Natural Confectionary Snakes: 👍

Did you two have a pact to bring in as many camp innuendo Brokeback Mountain style comments in this video as possible??

There were a few more but it’s hard to write when you’re cooling down on a watt bike...either way, whether you were playing a game or my mind just needs to be sanitised, it did make me chuckle. Felt like I was watching ‘Carry On Francis’ 🤣
use the app windy, good for wind..
Brutal shit
How much have you spent so far on accommodation and food & drinks?
Shit tonnes
Don’t the clocks go forward? Different seasons in the Southern Hemisphere?
Yes, we lost an hour of precious sleep
Francis Cade ah, of course...misinterpretation...
I know you touched on it before, but how soul destroying are those dead straight roads at times?
Let alone in a crappy headwind.
Not that bad really, it's not like we're riding ultra distances !
@@Cade_Media Good to hear, glad you are both staying on top of it mentally and physically. Cheers for the reply too :)
Daddy would you like some sausage what the f*** 😱😱🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Iron Knob 🤣🤣🤣 it wasn't a prison it's a detention centre
Someone will get the reference.... I think
Francis Cade I got it

I'm worried you are both going to ruin your teeth with all that fizzy pop!

Use BOM for weather and wind
Try Weatherzone.
This intro was weird, that Australian heat must be getting to both of you
