You can now say you cycled in Australia after being swooped by a magpie. Though it was a pretty tame attack. I have one that lives 150 metres from my house and hits my helmet two or three times depending if I am going up or down hill. Though nothing like last year in a different location. Surprise attack out of the sun, it was like getting whacked in the side of the head, below the helmet by a thrown tennis ball and drew a little blood. Nothing like my friend who went through the same roundabout 30 minutes later and it made a mess of her ear. Stay safe.

I drove down that climb from Wilmington into Port Augusta a few months ago. Stunning. It was pissing rain across the bits in the hills, and our poor navigation took us on highways rather than the indipac route as i had planned. (1 wrong turn out of a town!) Some pretty amazing hills in that part of the world.
Another entertaining video ,,,that was a tame magpie I was bitten on the ear on Sunday by a rather nasty one ,,,Chris and his ice cream was a highlight

Practical question - are you washing and wearing the same pair of knicks and jersey every day? Would it have a chance to dry out every night or do you just ride damp? I'm contemplating a multi-day ride but am wondering about washing my gear and hygiene in the sweaty groin region...
In a matter of a few weeks apart I was dive bombed by a bald eagle and chased by moose on the same piece of trial luckly I escaped ..I magine that their young ones must have been very close 🐣🦌 wowzers..🇨🇦
IT band, I did a ride a few months ago, and since that ride, i have constant problem with right side IT band!?? What do you mean by you are having IT problem?
There's a muscle at the top of my quad that gets a bit tight from overuse, have to keep on top of rolling it otherwise the IT band takes up the slack and gets a bit of pain. Have you tried moving your cleats back? This reduced the regularity of this happening a lot!
Big Q: Where do now prefer out of all the continents you've ridden on....Oz, West Coast US, South Africa or Europe? No pressure, and dont beat around the bush, I'm sure you wont lose many subscibers whatever your answer ;-)))....
