Didn't think I'd have to make a comment about this. Thought you guys would be smarter. But ok, to clarify I was using DOGS and what isn't a dog? Let's say it together A WOLF.
They are both Canines, but they are not both dogs.

I have a challenge its basically only beating skyrim with alchemy you say impossible so ill give u one crutch to put ur poison onto a weapon a wooden sword un upgraded basically all ur damage comes from you alchemy poisons idk I couldn't figure out a way to make beating skyrim with alchemy without giving u that or you could grade the fork which I believe does one damage qnd its on the throat of the world somewhere
Theoretically, you can do almost every of his challenges, but this guy makes this so much more ambiguous and interesting
I do agree, initially the titles and thumbnails gave me an impression that it is some dumb and cheap knock-off of ymfah. Luckly I was mistaken. Something to improve upon I suppose.

Death hounds do be ugly af but the ice effect their bites have has killed me many times
Yeah the ice damage is DOT and can kill new players or characters easily if they aren't prepared. Back then the DLC used to fuck me up when vampires used to raid cities with their hounds and I swear I nearly died due to the amount of raids I had to endure in a low level if it weren't for my fast healing and hishkin with my argonian tribal healer build

The companion ones you get if you join Harkon are sadly worthless though. They don't scale beyond lvl 5. For..some reason.

I once did a hunter playthrough where I had Meeko as my main companion and it was one of the most fun playthroughs I've ever had
I love hunter playthroughs! They spice up the normal experience just enough that it feels fresh

Here's an challenge, can you beat skyrim's dawnguard dlc with only dlc weapons, the ideas simple, if you need the dawnguard dlc to get the weapon, you can use it, so Crossbows, dawnguard war axe, auriel's bow

So...beat the dlc with weapons designed to make the dlc 10 times easier...not much of a challenge is it

@@allgoodnamesaretaken6145 maybe use dlc items for the opposite ones, dawnguard items for Dragonborn and Dragonborn items for dawnguard. No smithing, upgrades, exploding, or magical items contained in the dlcs
"For some reason doesn't have a health bar and can never die" well he is half a daedric prince. Well somewhere between 33.3% and 50% cause there is that sword.
Does that mean that Vile might actually be less daedric prince than barbas?
@@confusedchocolate5260 in theory that's a possibility. It depends on whether vile used only his own power, or his and barbas' power combined to make umbra. It doesn't particularly make a difference if barbas makes up most of the prince though. They are all technically the same being, and barbas, being the most level headed of the three parts, just wants what is best for vile because he is vile. If it wasn't for barbas, clavicus vile probably would've accidentally destroyed himself a long time ago.

He intentionally mispronounces every name or makes up a nicknames for certain character. Like Farengar is Captain Voice Acting, Parthanax is Dragon Mario, and so on.

Can't you level by paying trainers to raise your skills for you? Technically you're not using them and you still get XP for leveling skills. Therefore you still complete skyrim while only doing X. sure you need hefty amounts of gold. But it could help.
Also if you join the companions abd become a werewolf you are technically a dog in that state. Or at least you get a howl that summons some wolves.
Do normal skill ups give experience?
@@FriskyD. Yeah thats how you level normally. You dont get xp per kill.
Pay trainers, do smithing, do a lot of trade with merchants for speech, pickpocket people - plenty of ways to level up without needing to get into combat, even if you don't do the "take damage and just heal myself" level up for restoration.
@@Karnatil but thats "using" skills. If you smith then you haven't used just, (for example) alteration. Because you used smithing.
Using the console command bypasses any skill gains or increases in life/magicka/stamina. So he's effectively still lvl 1 in strength which is the point of the challenge.

Just a little tip, there is a ferry In Dawnstar that'll take you directly to the castle. Much faster than running there from solitude
All three ferries can take you, if I'm not mistaken.
I have just spent my day watching all of your skyrim/monster hunter videos, and I cant say im disappointed. You have found a way somehow to make every video different even though its the same game, major props and love the content

Yes. The whole purpose of the challenge was that the dogs were supposed to do everything. It's basically a lvl 1 challenge. That's why he used the console command. It sets your lvl to 10 for the purpose of quest flags and the like, but it also skips the normal level up process so he's still lvl 1 in strength.

We're also fostering a puppy named Priscilla, King of Monsters.
You can defeat Skyrim and it’s DLC as long as what you have does at least 1 damage, but watching him do it makes it so much more fun

When did “only dogs” mean “level 1”. You could use smithing to get to lvl 10 using the morthal merchant chest to get enough stuff to get to that level then go ahead from there. Assuming you don’t use any of the gear you make you could dump points into magic that you don’t use or whatever.

I’m cool with lvl 10 cause when you think about it, it’s mostly a handicap, since everything else levels up too, and with no stat gains or perks it just means you have less health to take the hits
A work around could have been conjuring familiars. They are wolves/dogs so that could have counted if you wanted. Just something someone who wants to try this run to keep in mind.
Would it be possible to do this without using console commands for levelling using smithing or enchanting?
If the rules are "You can only kill enemies with dogs" the challenge would've worked even without console commands, you could just level up skills that aren't combat baised (alchemy, speech, blacksmithing etc) to get to lvl 10 and get Barbas that way
