  • Friends it is TIME for us to go over what happens when you go into labor, how you get from pregnant to ready to push a baby out and then....what happens after baby is here??
    This video is a legit Labor 101. Like having CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION CLASS: STAGES OF LABOR on your pregnancy transcript from pregnancy school! I'm going to answer all your questions: HOW MANY STAGES OF LABOR ARE THERE? And WHAT IS MY CERVIX DOING IN LABOR? How about WHAT IS DILATION? Or WHAT IS EFFACEMENT? In a nutshell this video will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about the STAGES OF LABOR: EARLY LABOR, ACTIVE LABOR AND TRANSITION STAGE...and yes I of course talk about DELIVERY and the RING OF FIRE (OUCH!)
    This was a fun one for me to make so let me know in the comments if you enjoyed watching it. The baby in the turtleneck analogy is of course my favourite part 😂
    Here's another video you might really like because if you're learning about labor you MIGHT AS WELL learn about the things baby REALLY needs once they arrive:
    ‱ DON'T MISS putting the...
    Or when you should go to the hospital!

    Whew that ring of fire feeling. It’s no joke!! But when you get thru it and have your baby and reflect back on what you went thru
there’s no more powerful feeling!! Such a miracle! The baby and the experience!

    I always watch these videos. I'm not pregnant but as I enter my 30s and have a good man I am starting to think about having kids. Pregnancy and labor are terrifying to me and these videos make it seem less scary

      I 100% feel this. I'm 36 weeks along and thought I was going to be petrified. Having an amazing partner and watching videos like this and so much more has helped me enjoy the journey so much more

    so I’m autistic and about to be a parent, and finding these at this time has been an absolute blessing. thank you so much. was focusing nearly all my attention on learning about parenting because it’s something I’m familiar with and invested in being educated about, but had been avoiding learning much about labour because it’s scary and unknown. And it still is of course, but I needed this. Having information always makes everything less scary. Thank you so much more than I could say. brb gonna binge your channel in a day

    I have given birth 3 times and had an epidural each time. I'm a month away from greeting baby number 4 and have decided to go no epidural. I have never had to experience or know about the ring of fire.... I'm glad I am aware now 😅

    How do you know when the placenta is detached from the uterus? How do you guys know that?

    • @mamanursetina
      @mamanursetina  Pƙed rokem +3

      A couple things happen. The traction that they are gently holding on the cord loosens up and theres a small gush of blood that comes out of the v@gina

    Is there a difference when you measure the cervix during a cervical exam and during an ultrasound? Because my OB/GYN told me during the ultrasound that my cervix is still about 4cm at 37 weeks 😅
.or do I have an abnormally long cervix? 😂

    • @mamanursetina
      @mamanursetina  Pƙed rokem +5

      That’s a nice long Cervix!! There’s always a degree of error even with ultrasound but I would say rest assured you have no threat of labor currently ♄
