Injuries are a part of football (Pep and City began that 28 match winning streak with a win away at Chelsea with over 6 main players missing due to COVID...we didn't have a striker and we destroyed the league and had our best ever run in the CL...no excuses. Top teams like Liverpool, City, etc don't make excuses. That's why they're at the top) and every team had to suffer playing in silence, not just Liverpool. Anfield has an overrated crowd. You guys are brilliant at times, yes I agree (like against Barça in that 4-0). But you guys do a sing-song before kickoff and then start groaning and you cause unnecessary panic. When your team is firing on all cylinders, you guys are brilliant, but you guys are horrible when your team is suffering. Simply horrible. The amount of tension that you guys create, instead of getting behind your team is insane. People make the assumption that every Anfield game is like that Barça one. It's not (you just need to watch the games to know that). Every fan base gets nervous when their team suffers, but Anfield really causes unnecessary tension. Your players' performance dictates the state of the crowd and not the other way round, which is exactly opposite of what other fanbases do (hence they don't cause so much unnecessary panic)

@@neill3040 yeah, can agree on that. most of the time he leaves clubs himself without any pressure from chairman, and does take long break before going for next stint. the intensity and pressure( not to mention that he is under a lot more pressure than other managers because of money he spends) means getting exhausted.
@@neill3040 next year would mean he’d been at city for 6 years and that is quite long for managers in modern football. So saying that’s why he doesn’t last long is not very accurate . He spent three seasons at Bayern and that was his shortest stint but by any managerial standards , that is still a decent amount of years. He said once that players do get bored and tired of the same tactics after 3 years so you have to find a way to motivate them.

CB Rafael Marquez was replaced by Gerard Pique taken from Man United. He bought Alves for RB. For defensive midfield, Yaya Toure was shipped of to Man City replace by Sergio Busquets whom he promoted from Barca B which he previously coached. Iniesta and Xavi were only squad players and the midfield belonged to Deco etc he installed them as his go to midfielders. Messi was installed as a false 9 and Thierry Henry and Etoo flanked him. Now let's talk about his tactics. The much fabled tiki taka came from Pep. He evolved the total football learnt under Cruyff and turned into something on steroids never seen before and since and completely obliterated world football, in style and in trophies. Remember the sextuple in 2009? And quintuple in 2011? This is the guy who schooled Sir Alex twice. As a true fan of football you oughta stop hating and appreciate sometimes. After the 2011 UCL Sir Alex himself said his "side was well beaten no excuses".
Pep developed the best club side ever. Then went further into the Premier League to create a paradigm shift on how the league could be won. And in doing so turning on a style that's uniquely his while winning with record points.
If you've been sleeping on this guys. Let me tell you this guy is a GENIUS. Listen to guys like Alves, Pique, Xavi etc etc talk about him. Even Zlatan despite their differences says he's a tremendous coach but just doesn't like him as person. I'd advice you to enjoy a virtuoso while he's still at it fellows, well that's if your love for football eclipses petty partisanship
