Its the people and the trains that make our second York train show so special. ....and oh boy, our budget took such a hit
You guys are. BLAST! 👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed! 🙂
Great finds, love your reaction opening these gems. You two bring your real feelings to the hobby. Have fun, see you at York in April.
Thanks, Kevin. We really enjoy trains and its satisfying that our happiness and the fun of it come through in our videos.
Amazing layout You guys do the awesome
Thanks so much. We're just beginning to landscape and add models to our trainboard
THANKS FOR SHARING!!!
Joe, let us know your favorite engine and or railroad. I love sante fe and c&o. Gary
Always fun to watch you two. Eager to see what you have bought
Thanks dan. We are very happy with our york purchases..our budget took a big hit, but some special items
This is really cool and I really enjoy all your train layout videos and all that you are you dad makes.❤❤❤❤❤
Glad to have you along for the ride! - Ryan
Great video guys!! It was great meeting y’all. I love your reaction to the smoking tank car. Can’t wait to see what else you got.
Corey, we had great fun at York. This Ocrober,2023 was our second York and its the people and all those trains that make York so special. Real nice meeting you.
Was great to see you guys at the show!
Always looking out for fellow CnJ collectors! Super gald you got the full set of those cars!
Great hall!
Thanks for watching Matt! Next York we need to get a picture together! - Ryan
Great York finds there gents, ESPECIALLY those Jersey Central cars! CNJ cars always seem to be hard ones to find, I imagine as soon as they hit the market they disappear into New Jersey basements NEVER to see the light of day again for decades!
All those cars were great finds!
Looking forward to the next installment!
Wayne, we agree. Ryan has turned into a CNJ fanatics with some especially nice finds. As noted here, Ryan is working on a video with the full set of CNJ cars and a special engine. Gary
@@TheTrainboard I'll tell you what Gary, I have NEVER seen those MTH purple box CNJ cars anywhere!
And what really strikes me about them is they're marked "Central Railroad of New Jersey," the pre-war markings, instead of the more common (Both MTH and Lionel) post-war "Jersey Central Lines." Quite a find!
Awesome great find Gary & Glen... liking the NASA cars but I love CNJ Madison cars " woohoo"
(Tom from Bayonne)
Tom, thanks for commenting. My son, ryan, has a special engine, unboxed, that he has been holding gor his video using those CNJ cars. You will be pleased. Gary
Looks great, guys. Keep an eye on that smoking tank car...MTH recalled a run of those because they turned into literal flame throwers. Something was off with the boards. Definitely would be cool to see MTH bring that one back, I always really like the NASA stuff.
Thanks for the alert, matt. We will start it on a test track. Real nice to hear that you, like me, really enjoy NASA stuff. I cant wait to model and landscape my NASA/ SpaceX area and run my USSF engine. Gary
My two favorite buys from York is the Lionel E8 Sleigh Bell set and an MTH Z4000 transformer
for $275
Zach, 2 very nice pickups, and that z4000 price is really a deal and its should serve you well. We have a z4000 running it all, a TIU, 3 AIU, 2 post war zw as backup. We never had any Christmas stuff before this year, more than 50 years in and counting. We real enjoy our christmas train. I made a Santa's mountain 20 somethings years ago, now on our current trainboard Thanks for commenting.
Bought the premier Swift cars from Berwyns
Your fortunate, those swift cars are special and hard to find at a reasonable price
Hi fellas, nice video.
Question: Isn’t the Rail King “tough & rugged” a O27 scale?
this set is scale but, vs premier mth, with sometimes less detail, sometimes one half inch less wide on passenger cars, depends on mth whim when they do the sets. For recent cabooses, the railking line is exactly the same as the premier model. There NJ cars are scale, same size as our mth premier sets. We have some o27 stuff, these are definetly a larger size. We dont ever buy the mth tough and rugged sets, quality and detail just not there for us. Gary
Great findings! Just wondering, if you have any Alaska rolling stock or engines?
No, sorry Jennifer. Alaska is not in our collection yet. There do have some really great colors. Gary
Like the Blue Comet shirt, where from?
Thanks! Carmen at Greenberg Train Show, he's also at York. - Ryan
Are you gonna buy new vision line big boy 4014 2023
We are working on making our first big boy video. A special surprise is due to be shipped to us in 2 days and we plan to do an unboxing and run video asap. We are very excited. Gary
are you get a Mailhouse turntable to
Is lionel vision line union pacific big boy 4014
@user-mz6cu6qe9d we have an atlas turntable. Although our trainboard is 18 by 24 ft, no room for a millhouse . We will feature ours in a future video. It works well. Thanks for watching
You're welcome
