The amount of detail and effort going into literally everything about guns in this show is amazing tbh. Love that attention to detail.
@@BloodInTheStrawberries Trigger discipline is a teaching that every gun owner should follow to insure the safety of themselves and those around them. Basically, you have to treat the gun you're holding like it could kill whatever it's pointing at at any point in time because, well, it literally can. So to minimize accidents, you should never have your finger on the trigger until you're ready to actually fire the gun, and you should also never point the gun at anything you aren't intending to kill.

It has gotten to the point where the show is basically saying "RICK IS THE CAUSE OF ALL OF HIS OWN MISERY" with big flashing letters and the fans still can't get it through their heads...
If it's meant to be a critique of Rick and Morty then it's not an effective one because Rick and Morty isn't a nihilist show. It has a nihilist character (who's character arc throughout the series is a gradual path towards a less nihilistic attitude).
Unfortunately rather than engaging in a real discourse people are just gonna link this video all for the sake of getting a "gotcha" moment against supposed "nihilist". Jimbo: [continues crying]
Moe: ah, forget it.
Love that scene 🤣
1:03 I like the detail on the trigger discipline.
The amount of detail and effort going into literally everything about guns in this show is amazing tbh. They could've just drawn generic guns and had the characters do all sorts of nonsense with them, it's a cartoon after all, but the guns actually look discernible as real guns, and the trigger discipline like you said, but also he doesn't try and cock the gun to make the notorious CHK-CHK sound that most other media might. Love that attention to detail.
@@rugalbernstein5913 YEAH.
I'm sorry I don't know much on this topic, but what does this technique accomplish in trigger discipline?/gen
@@rugalbernstein5913
Yeah Zach set out to do one thing here, and he absolutely nailed it.

If it's meant to be a critique of Rick and Morty then it's not an effective one because Rick and Morty isn't a nihilist show. It has a nihilist character (who's character arc throughout the series is a gradual path towards a less nihilistic attitude).
