I only have maximum of 3 days and just like spotting on the 3rd. I get my period every month tho. It is bright red. Fyi i am 40 yo, my period has been light ever since. Most people don't have actual pain. Maybe occasional discomfort, but not to the extent that it'd be considered pain. If you have pain, you need to see a specialist. You might have endometriosis or something. Personally, I don't usually know when my period is there until I see blood on my underwear or feel it trickling out. If I'm wearing a tampon or cup (as opposed to a pad), it feels the same as not having my period. Until I poop, that is...you're more prone to diarrhea on your period, and it's not pleasant on the tummy.
Yes It was not painful and I am taking care of my diet with multivitamins and simple walk morning and evening and it is helpful. My stomach is improving. Thank you doctor.

Thank you for this video! My husband and have been trying for 3 years now. This last year we suffered our first miscarriage. I ended up with low folate along with a MTHFR genetic mutation. Heartbroken after we waited to try and to figure out my next opinions for being able to carry our next baby. I am now on a extra folate supplement with my prenatal. We started trying this month and now am in my TWW. I will test on Tuesday to see if we are pregnant or hopefully miss my next period. Been having symptoms to 🌈👶🏼🤞🏻

What happened
Had a fabroid surgery, for the past year, my menstruation has returned to normal. I had a perfect 28 days cycle.
Thank you Dr skylar! We've been trying casually for five years then after that, very dedicated to trying and with Dr's help/ttc knowledge for 6 more years. Its been a long road. We've had 7 losses in the first trimester and have no children. My main problem before was implantation but after my 5 recurrent losses in 2016/2017...I have never been able to fall pregnant again. This is devastating for me as i was seriously sick with my last loss. Drs did no aftercare and ignored my concerns. I have lost 35lbs and made a drastic lifestyle and health change. My cycles use to be 160-250+ fays apart and they are now 28-31 days apart. My period length use to be 7days-weeks and now are consecutively 3-4 days long. I use to not ovulate on my own or without medication, now I do on my own. We are still not getting pregnant. Husbands SA is fine. We have both done so much work health wise and just dont understand why even despite my regular cycles ... I still cant conceive. Then if i do? The race is on to keep baby implanted and safe. I would appreciate any and all suggestions. Thank you dr.

You can try charting your cycles to know when you are fertile based on your basal body temperature , egg white cervical mucus and OPK tests , in that way you can try on your fertile days (day before ovulation, day of ovulation and day after ovulation) you can also include prenatal vitamins along with methylfolate supplements and try fertility yoga and massages as well
I feel for you so much.
I had 2 losses, first a miscarriage at 8 weeks, the second was an ectopic pregnancy. Both of them resulted from ivf. We still have hope and trying again. But the age is crucial. I don’t know your age, but have u considered ivf? I regret losing so much time. A friend of mine had a baby through ivf and advices me, but I was so stubborn and wanted to pursue a natural pregnancy. I only wasted 2 years.
I know some women's blood thickens too much baby if you are taking fish oil it thins out your blood a bit.

Hi , I've been trying for 12months now. Had a gynae visit at 6months and he said all is well. Tips for successful IVF??
My cycle is on point in days, I ovulate almost same day thru my cycle and all is regular. My only issue is my first day or two of my period it’s rediculas heavy, I’m talking can fill mentral cup in an hour at times with clots sometimes as big as 50ps. So makes me think that something is happening with the walls of my uterus. I have had precious c section ultrasound normal an waiting on dye test. Has anyone else experienced this?

Might be a weird question… But I was getting pregnant a lot before, just having miscarriages. It’s been almost a year now since I saw my RE. He did do a hysteroscopy . I haven’t had one single pregnancy test since I started seeing him in March 2022 (at that point I had just had another miscarriage 2 weeks before our meeting). But no sign of pregnancy yet. Haven’t really changed anything and we’re trying every month. Could the hysteroscopy have done something to damage or make it more difficult to get pregnant? Obviously that’s not the goal of a hysteroscopy. Just wondering.

I had that and it turned out to be due to multiple uterine polyps-got rid of polyps and saw no more of brown spotting. Hope this helps.

How can you naturally take the pain away? I usually take extra strength advil and or put heating pad. I have really bad painful periods and with all the symptoms you can imagine. I had it like this since 10years old. Not every month is painful though. But it did affect my school, work and life. I always thought, that's how it's supposed to be and just sucked it up
I was the exact same. When I cut sugar out of my diet my periods changed 100%. Virtually no pain.... or what I would consider after years of being doubled over in pain, at the worst mild cramps. Cut the sugar and within 2-3 months you’ll see DRASTIC change 😳😳

I’ve been trying for 10 months. My husband was checked and is fine. I on the other hand have been on progesterone for about 5 cycles. I was spotting a lot during my luteal phase. What is your take on raspberry leaf tea nettle tea and peppermint tea? I've recently started trying it to help get pregnant and help my heavy/clotting periods.
They may help but I don't think they will help on their own.
@@MarcSklarTheFertilityExpert Ok...I did notice red raspberry leaf tea reduced my cramps, blood flow and clotting by a lot that's why I was curious if it would help me get pregnant as well. I also take a whole foods supplement powder that contains spirulina, chlorella, and all sorts of good vitamins.

Hi doc. I am 41 in shape eating healthy All my blood work is good no issues and we really started 2 months ago to TTC. My cycle is 3 days long healthy bleeding and never skipped a month very regular. I am using OPK kits and it tells me when I am positive so my husband and i do the baby dance every other day possible 3 times during the entire fertile window. So far, no baby yet and not sure if I am too old to conceive and we don’t want to try anything with fertility clinic. I take vitamins and again eat healthy. Can u help with any advice ??
Keep trying. It has not been long since you started trying so I would not stress about it and keep doing what you are doing. Give it 6 months of trying like this before you start thinking of any additional treatment. The only reason to get help sooner is if you already know that there is an issue with either of you.
I forgot to tell you that we had 7 years old daughter which when we conceived we didn’t even know. She was a surprise baby. We are blessed but she wants a sibling that is why we started to try. Thank you again

I have periods on 12 March 2024 and missed my periods of April. My urine test is positive but in ultrasound nothing is showing. I have little spotting for two days then it stopped. I felt pain in left side of my lower abdomen and then it minimized after 24 hours.

Hi Dr., well, I kinda know my problem. I have uterine polyps and i am schedule for removal polyps in two weeks, my fear or concern is if I will ever go back to have regular menstrual cycle... my menstrual cycle was really health unti I did IVF and failed two times. I don’t want to go that route anymore. I just want my regular cycle back, but i don’t know if it will happen. or shall I need to take something? Currently, I stopped a lot of fertility supplements but I kept few of them and not sure if I should keep taking them. My acupuncturist gave me tea pills on top of the supplements I am taking, she said its for ovulation, but because its in chinese i don’t understand. I am very confuse, I just want to let go of everything and have a life.
You may need help getting your cycle to be regular again but I do think it is possible.

Whats your clomid dosage?
5yrs ago, my gyno put me on Pergotime (works like clomid) to stimulate ovulation. By God's grace i Got pregnant. When i found out i was pregnant, immediately without even my gyno knowing it i started applying progesterone cream everyday till 20weekd, started gradually tapering the dosage and eventually stopped as weeks went by.
When you get preggars, make sure to have your levels checked Asap or even buy and use to save time otherwise high risk of miscarriage, saying this from experience.
Now on baby #2 Try. As am soon 39, been taking some vitamins and supplements to improve egg quality. Coq10 200, Prenatal that has many vitamins, etc in good quantities, Omega-3, folate 800, vit D, magnesium-calcium-zinc combo in 1 pill. Been Taking all these daily for 3months so the body absorbs them before TTC just to get a good foundation. Vitamin E would also be great to add in there as well.

Oh, one more thing i forgot to mention was that a few days b4 Ovulation my gyno did a test thru the cervix and saw on the screen that a good mature egg would soon be released in a few days, that way we were advised when to do the deed so sperm would be ready there waiting to meet that egg when ovulation occured, consult with your fertility gyno. I pray you get your miracle soon❤

Your AMH is my concern. you should watch the videos I have to improve AMH levels.
