41 years old here and 6 weeks pregnant! I have 5 kiddos, my eldest is 20 and just had her first baby, and we started to try almost 3 years ago and had a miscarriage very early on then all of this time passing, we just decided to stop focus on trying about 2 months ago, and SURPRISE! I really feel like stress and worrying and tracking and forcing can really end up hurting the process. We are praying this one is healthy and arrives as planned (due date is pretty sweet too…..2/2/22!)

I used to go to bed at 12 or even 1230... when I started to sleep at 10 - it sucked because Ifelt I lost so much time to work but all I can describe the benefits as, it feels delicious. I was questioned as to why I wanted to go through it when I was already premenopausal. The bedside manners were awful and I never went back. Not to mention that I had to complete a long history information twice and them the doctor didn’t even look to my information and was rushing me.

I can say I got pregnant at 38 reaching 39 at our first try!
I have always been healthy.
Very little sugar, mostly vege diet with some fish, little alchol, always exercised, mediterranean diet, never used contraceptive pills and only used meds sporadic.
Unfortunately I lost the baby due to a huge fibroid I had which I didn't know about because I never had any symptoms.
Doctores were shocked I never had any issues from my fibroid before ( my fibroid was a bit bigger than a grapefruit)... again I think because of my healthy lifestyle my body didn't even react to it.
Now I have just turned 40, had the fibroid removed and we are trying for a baby again. Pray for me 🙏🏾

I am 38 and heading for IVF treatment in few weeks, we are just going through the hormone injections. And I am petrified this wont work either. My doctor literally said my AMH is too low at 1.0 and that I have most likely missed all my natural chances.... so please pray for us, because baby is all we are dreaming of now that we have finally found each other and have our home.

So its better for me to spend 3 months working on my fertility/health, rather then getting pregnant as quickly as possible at 40? I can't get my husband to stop smoking cigars which sometimes worries me about our fertility journey but I have been making lifestyle changes for myself.

I did one day of vigorous exercise (1 hour weight lifting, 20 minutes cardio), and it made my period come too early (cycle day 19).
I started IVF treatment when I was 36, doc already recommended donor eggs. Now I’m 41. 😏 still trying

The sleep and melatonin levels is very frustrating for me. I have never in my life been able to fall asleep before 11pm at the earliest, unless I am sick or have been up since before 4 am that day. I also naturally wake up around 8 am, without an alarm clock. Preparing for bed starting around 10:30 and waking up at 8am gives me the best sleep, with only one wake-up in the night. Going to bed early? I lay there until well after 11pm and wake up anywhere from 4-9 times through the night (I documented it for 3 years), waking up very much not rested.
But if going to bed is healthier, it's what I want to do!

Dear Dr. Marc, First of all thanks a lot for the informative video. I am currently 28 years old, but me and my fiancé (who is a 28 year old man) we have no plans to have children before we turn 40, because I still want to live my life, enjoy my youth, and build a solid career. But, sometimes I watch these videos and read articles about pregnancy after 40 to start preparing myself, to inform myself - also because, at least in my opinion, having a child requires many, many years of research, and understanding... no not only to conceive the child, but also to take care of her own physical integrity as a woman, and to know exactly how to educate this vulnerable person who will arrive in the world. Although there is still a long time to go, more or less a decade for me to start actively trying to get pregnant, I want to start informing myself about pregnancy at a reasonably older age (because I really think that 40 is not old, because nowadays women over 50 can be mothers), but I also hope that in the 30's there will be more technology, and methods that doctors are not aware in the present days.
I sincerely hope that technologies evolve, and that in the very future when I am prepared to become a mother, pregnancy after 40 years does not have the stigma that it has today for some people and some closed-minded doctors. And I expect that not only because it's my decision to wait to have a child...but also for other women. I wish this for girls and women in society, because we are no longer in 1930, we women and young couples are not obliged to waste our youth taking care of a child. We have the right to explore life, grow, build a structure, and be our best versions before we decide something as big as bringing a child into the world - a child deserves such a country too. Let's fight for a future in which it is beyond all doubt possible to be mothers at 40 and beyond! I would reccomend freezing your eggs. I'm 42 and had my daughter at 30. Many of my friends at that same age also had children but several of them had to have ivf to conceive, they thought they would just come off the pill and get pregnant and it just didn't work like that. I have only a limited number of friends but if say 30% of them needed help to conceive after trying naturally. Waiting until you are 40 although you won't necessarily feel old you will notice changes in your cycle and your general health and looks. Gambling on a few good eggs surviving until that age and having them fertilised is very risky if you are certain you want your own children.
I regret badly for not having kids earlier, I would suggest to have kids before 35 or at least freeze eggs. Technology is not that powerful

I’ve seen 2 women married one twice at 25 then at 28 , the other in her 33, they could not have kids naturally. What I’ve learned is feeling whole without a husband and kids matters first. Also, few people talk about that, but the more a woman feels safe and secure in a relationship and in life, the easier her body can welcome a baby. If you believe in this life you are going to have children, you are going to have them. To attract the right husband means you feel whole, you love life, you are living your purpose, and you carry yourself in a way he can recognize. Go to places where you would love to live an see don’t forget to do the inner work. Also look at how you manifest things in your life, there is always common patterns and use these to create your relationship list (prioritize needs over wants). Good luck and have faith!

I have reached to an extent where all I want is just children and I no longer want love or to be in a relationship because I prayed for marriage and relationship but I failed to get one, but now am stressed I want to have children but still I have no man. I wish I had known earlier I would have just produced and not waited for marriage I would be much happier.
