Yoimiya is the amber of banners
I got Yoimiya in her first banner becoz I didn't know Raiden will be in the next banner(Drip marketing isn't as prevalent as it is now). And never played Yoimiya again :(

I am still so happy that I got her on her first banner. And now I would call her my second main after Xinyan
I love my Yoimiya very much and I donât regret rolling for her at all. Especially since she helps against that golden wolf lord in abyss đ

Sabotage Itto's banner as well. Firstly, he was before first-ever 4 banners - long-awaited reruns of Xiao, Zhongli and Ganyu
Then he was after Yelan, who is a great character, and before Kazuha and Klee's long-awaited reruns
And then he was released with Scaramouche, who players waited for 2 years, and before Raiden, one, if not the most, popular character in the game.

I had just started playing again when Itto came after yelan, lost my 50/50
after a while I heard Zhongli and Albedo would get a rerun bc new region so I saved for them and started saving for Itto as well

If youâre farming for a characterâs final ascension, at some point youâll reach 17/20 boss drops. The next time you fight the boss, you will get 2 boss drops. Then, the time after that, you get 3 boss drops.
I remember i had exactly 19/20 boss drops to ascend kuki Shinobu, i went to chasm, killed the serpent, and when i claimed it i got 3 drops đđđ

The one unwritten rule i know is that when dendro is introduced, all new characters must revolve around their reactions.

I mean, it's logical? A missing element is introduced so of course you'll need characters that do well with those new reactions
@@deductionsdiary105 Take Nilou for example. Her whole kit revolves around bloom. Nothing else. This is such a boring concept that i think Nilou isn't fun to play outside dendro reactions.

For the Itto one, I honestly think itâs because the CN and EN vas do an absolutely fantastic job at bringing Itto to life. Like have you heard the CN vaâs laugh? Itâs infectious. And we all know Max, the EN va, will beatbox and adlib at random. We all remember that Thoma intro dialogue from Irodori Festival.
JP itto is also really good! Literally all of them embody his personality so well
Max is the only va who made me fall in love with a character with his voice alone.

The gacha has a desire sensor too.
If you try and snipe a 4-star, you will get an early 5-star, but if you're going for the 5-star, you will lose the 50/50 at pity and then have to go to pity again to get them at all.
If you have one of the 4-stars at C6 already, 80% of the 4-stars you get will be copies of them.
Etc.
Go asked me about snipe Layla on Childe banner and get an early Childe and me losing an 50/50 on Warder and get Qiqi instead
Happened to me on the nahida banner. I wanted her, Bennett, and Noelle. I got Noelle to c6, a c1 qiqi, and not one Bennett con
Very true. Friend just wanted C6 Heizou and ended up with C3 and like C10 Layla. I wanted C6 Layla and only ended up with C4 and like C10 Heizou đ
The three of those things happened to me during the Scaramouche banner. Had to go to pity and lost the 50/50 and then went to pity again, and in the meantime I only got c0 Faruzan. I kept pulling for cons like crazy in the later days because I REALLY need her c6 for Scara and Xiao and even DPS Venti. Lots of Gorous and Yanfeis. Got a c1 Scaramouche in the process and she was still c4. Then I fell into the trap and topped up, got c5, and then kept getting Gorous and Yanfeis until bam, I got c3 Mona and c1 Itto in the same 10-pull and back to back. Let me say this again: I had higher odds of getting an infamous DOUBLE LEGENDARY than the last copy of Faruzan. She's still c5 and I got 5 5*s out of 3.3 and the two featured ones are c1 now. Fucking desire sensor. I can't even look at Gorou in the eye while playing mono geo without the horrible gacha flashbacks

bro itto's presence in any event automatically makes the atmosphere 100x better. you can make an event deep, but also funny by including him.
Exactly, just like they did when the Chasm was released. Since that area is dark but they added Itto to lighten the atmosphere.
@@Wcrklmn i really love that they included itto in that archon quest bc honestly, as much as i love xiao and yelan i would've died with that combination of overly serious characters together in a really dark place and moody atmosphere, so having him there was really a breath of fresh air!

At this rate, we can expect Yoimiya to have a rerun before a new region and/or an archon.
As for Hu Tao, she did first appear (outside her story quest) in the 2nd Lantern Rite and it seems now for the 3rd Lantern Rite too. When she first debut, it seemed Hoyo wants to distance her association with death away from Lantern Rite (as she's released after the first one) but now she keeps coming back to it.
This is actually Hoyo breaking their own rule lol
@@xxx_lolidestroyer69_xxxuwu58 I'm pretty sure they were planning to have Hu Tao rerun along with Nahida, as it's just weird to have Yoimiya rerun again after so few patches, but they realized that many players (as the majority is f2p or very low spenders) would have not appreciated such a double banner, so they just "sacrificed" Yoimiya for the sake of having players roll for Nahida with ease.
@@DahRahzor yea I also speculated that they wanted to "distribute their sales evenly" bcs they're afraid if they put Nahida with Hu Tao together people would have to choose between one of two of the high selling characters.
But then again they put Tao with Yelan
i expect Yoimiya in 4.1-4.2 banner, so it is paired with Fontaine archon with anyone else special and long-awaited being nearby.
And looking at character roster, I don't think she will ever have a good rerun, as there are way too many good and more interesting characters, people want. So for everyone who wants to pull her, don't get distracted with other characters, there always will be someone you want more on the horizon. I can only call Albedo, Ayato, Itto and Xiao as characters that are not better than Yoimia or people wait for their reruns, and 4/24 is a pretty low number

Donât forget that wandererâs drip marketing came out a few days before Yoiâs second rerun, Iâve wanted Yoimiya since her release but have never gotten a chance to get her bcus of the banners

@@Disorder2312 Sorry but Iâm not made of money, I just turned 16, I am legally not allowed to have a real job. âYouâve had your chancesâ, I really wanted Raiden so I couldnât get Yoi during 2.0 because then I wouldnât have garanteed Raiden, then she was the last banner before Tighnari (who was one of my favorite characters at the time), and then she had a rerun the patch before Scara (who I have waited for since 1.1, mind you) was about to come out. So I say you try getting every character you want with extremely limited recources, luck sadly doesnt appear out of thin air.

They did buff shatter actually. It's now influenced by elemental mastery. So that's something. I am still waiting on my Crystalise geo character who gets more damage from EM. That'd be great.

Unrelated but that made me think of one of my genshin ocs that benefits off of crystaliize reactions. Sad that the reaction in-game felt like an afterthought
crystalize was actually a bit buffed by dendro indirectly. all these high-EM characters have hella strong crystalize shields, almost as strong as def users, and thus can use GOROU of all things as a shielder.
but the worst thing about crystalize is that petra's activation condition sucks. it should work off-field.
No one makes events better than Klee. The current event is amazing; so much free shit.

Elergy for the End on Yelan to support Hu Tao is the best choice I've ever made, only got Elegy because of losing the 50/50 on Homa the first time.

That desire sensor is so DAMN relatable. The moment "I want X to happen" comes to your mind, that X will not happen. Artifact farming and substat rolling are the most common but the least painful, at least in my case.
Worst one, personally, was Nahida's weapon. RNJesus bestowed me two T. Pulses. Of course this is just me finding something to blame on for that disastrous choice, knowing I don't even have Yoimiya at that time. I reluctantly pulled for Tartaglia after that for damage control.

25% chances of pain: "Yes"
So true, I've farmed for Idk how long, and I still don't have a VV EM headpiece and I struggle so much to get HoD ATK% sands , when I finally get it it's all flat stats or double HP/DEF.
i don't think it's just placebo though. it might actually be a thing. at least for wishes.
as for artifacts, they don't even have to have a sensor to know what pieces will be useless. and i think artifacts run on a cycle. currently investigating that. i'm keeping a log and i'll try to reverse engineer a cycle out of the results. the awful thing about this is that to have good data i'd need to log at least 3000 thousand consecutive domain runs (without condensing resin) to have solid data. i'm going for a tenth of that. it's just too much.
@@GenshinYuppe Iirc there's already a spreadsheet for artifact drop rates. And as anyone could've guessed, the rate for crit stats and dmg bonus goblets are abysmal.

i'm trying to figure out something else. i'm trying to figure out if there's a hidden bias in the RNG, like there is for wish pity where certain wishes have a worse chance of yielding a good result than others. and then trying to predict when the "good" days are so one can farm more efficiently.
The bias certainly seems to be there from my 2+ years of anecdotal evidence.
when yoimiyaâs burst first got leaked, i knew i had to get her. i managed to pull her on her first banner and i donât regret her. her gameplay is actually really good too so i feel for the people who had to skip her over and over again :/
edit: guys, iâve been a yoimiya main since release. i know her burst is the worst in her kit. iâm just saying her burst looked really pretty when i first saw it and thatâs what made me pull for her. also itâs kinda cracked in single target burgeon if youâre bored and wanna try something new :â)

hell no. her whole kit* as a dps is just her NA. her charged attack looks cool but they fucked it up by that scaling, her burst looks cool sth like childe and albedo but yeah you know she can't even trigger it and even the buff isn't applied to her.
i always liked her sprite, then i tried the gameplay and liked that too, but couldn't pull for her cause of the banners.
I think i got her by mistake while trying to get a 4 star lol. got her out of pity, same with Eula, and i'm always grateful that i got her because she carried a lot for my account.

If I were to add one, I would say, Raiden surpasses her own banner sales for every run of hers lol. High banner sales on her debut, surpassed that debut banner with her first rerun, and now, atleast at this time, shes about to surpass her first rerun banner (as well as Nahida) and she still has around 7 days left
Update, her 2nd rerun now even surpassed the Ayaka banner which is notorious for lasting much longer than the normal banners. Raiden and Ayato banner is now the best selling run for Chinese Mobile market.

My theory for Yoimiyaâs failure also cause sheâs always surrounded by the most premium and flexible element on the game, Hydro, with only Barbara and Xingqiu to work with prior to Sumeru having a limited hydro 5 star like Kokomi,Ayato or Nilou would be better for your account than having a dps on an element that has no shortage of it, Pyro is a very accessible element with solid 4 star dps with a stacked 4 star roster, I didnât have a 5* limited Hydro until until Ayato and it was so worth it,
Hydro is pretty much a priority over a redundant archetype on an element thatâs role is restricted to one thing
Anyways, Iâm happy with my Yoimiya but sheâs someone i can live without
I think that people consider her needing a shielder (and that pretty much means Zhongli in most people's minds, though maybe Layla will open that up now) doesn't help either.
Also, I think another big thing is that they always rerun Thundering Pulse with her. TP being glued to Yoi's reruns similar to how Hu Tao is glued to Homa.

@@Axterix13 don't think about using Zhongli with Yoimiya. Yes, his shield is insane. No, he's not optimal for her. Yun Jin is unbelievably great for normal dps characters because she can boost damage and attack speed by high amounts.

I can relate on the Desire Sensor part because I got unwanted Cyno at 5 pity and Albedo at 17 pity (without guaranteed) while I was aiming for other characters and then lost 50/50 on Nahida and Wanderer.
Farming for artifacts in this game is seriously vexing since it is always RNG on top of other RNG. Just when you think you have a god tier artifact, it will roll into flat stats and ruin itself just for the lulz.
I agree on the Clam set always rolls into Crit when all I ask for is only HP. On other case, ATK set rolls into DEF and vice versa.

Yoimiya was always that trial character that wowed me in events so I got her , her weapon and a c6 Yun Jin and c6 Bennett for her.
even a year later, i never regretted rolling for her on the first banner, always best girl in my eyes
For the Keqing banner question, I know of the OPPOSITE experience. My sister's favorite character is Keqing, and she wanted Hu Tao more so she skipped Keqing and did get Hu Tao! Only issue was she didn't get Keqing until 2.7 (for those unaware, the Keqing banner was 1.3, so that's around 14 months)
As for me I skipped Tighnari to get Cyno, which I don't regret per say but gosh dang I wish I had Tighnari! Mihoyoverse just needs to make getting standard 5 stars simpler (and the starter 4 stars, too. RIP anyone who wants c6 of them)
Yeah, the key to those starting four stars is to get them every time they show up in the shop. That way, in 2-3 years, you can have them maxed out.
I was afraid I might regret skipping Tighnari's banner, since I was saving for Nahida. Then about a month ago I got him on the standard banner, and c1 on my next tenpull! Turns out I made the right choice, and I love using him now.
I almost have 2 years playing this game and I still don't have mona for my morgana team, it has not been fun to get dilucs
@@hectorlackless You can have one of mine, all I get is Mona (except 2 Tighnari's recently). I have her at c3 now. No Diluc, no Qiqi, c0 Jean and Keqing.

If I had a nickel for each time Yoimiya shared a version with Kazuha Iâd have 2 nickels, which isnât a lot, but itâs weird that it happened twice
And then there's me who actually got Yoimiya accidentally on her first banner (bc I wanted Sayu). At first I was disappointed but I quickly fell in love with her personality and gameplay... she's been my main since and is by far my favorite character â€

0:38 This is similar to using glitter to get characters from the shop, instead of having it go to pity etc.
It's tricky cause for some people who REALLY wanna ensure characters like Bennett, Sucrose and Xinqiu, Kaeya, Lisa and Amber, whoever, at that point it's worth paying in some starglitter-efficiency as long as you don't go overboard. The 4* gacha pulls grow more saturated each day, so the shop can be clutch.
Also, here's a secret tip for artifact farming: Genshin has what's known as a desire-sensor, and stats are more important than sets most the time. So, what do you do? You wish for Kokomi and just farm her set, you'll get 50cv + unrolled atk%/EM/ER for all your other characters instantly. If it's not working, you'll probably just need to roll for her weapon too, but luckily that's the best in slot for any claymore user anyway.
And just because I'd feel really bad if someone didn't realize, the last half of my comment was a joke
Hahah, i farmed a month for Tartaglia's pieces. Now i have almost perfect Ayaka with 197 CV and 2000+ atk despite her using Amenoma sword đ Tartaglia still runs 2+2 though
@@Romashka_Sov I aaaalways keep coming back to that domain and Emblem. I only just realized yesterday I didn't even roll into crit/atk%/ER on any Blizzard circlets so I'm trying to get a better one now, 93 EM is cool but not for freeze.
I do somehow have like 3 pretty decent on-set cryo cups though, one has 27% cdmg (with EM...) while a +18 needs one more cdmg roll to have one less cdmg but two more atk% rolls, the other is 10.5% rate with 4.5% ER... It's a slow climb with Blizzard Strayer, so easy to get off the ground, so hard to reach near perfection.
Just like Emblem though, I want multiple sets, so it's not all diminishing returns that make me question my sanity.
Aaand that goblet just rolled cdmg again! I guess I don't need a circlet as much anymore then

The crit pieces on clam and maidens artifacts i got are insane
Well, those crit clam pieces aren't too bad for Qiqi. Maiden's, though, it doesn't matter, since that set is just strongbox or artifact xp fodder.

I rolled on Keqing banner and never regretted it. One of my good friends did too, and has never pulled another Keqing despite literally maining her. No regrets.
Ayaka and Xiangling are Hoyo's favorite children.

Feel bad for the treatment to Yoimiya. I don't have her and not planning to get her since I'm not really into Pyro but yeah I still sympathize. I may be biased since I love Itto and his my main but yeah every event he's in makes them even better and have fun vibe. Speaking of Itto and you mentioned artifacts, I swear I can so much relate like I've farmed Husk set not only for Itto but 2 more for Yun Jin and Albedo and I got tons of good stats but all went to Clam pcs instead and to rub it off the wound I don't even have Kokomi or anyone to use them and as of now I still don't have any single Husk crit circlet for more than half a year of farming. And then there's the fkng DPC/FoPL all the EM pcs goes to DPC and all anemo goblet and Atk sands goes to FoPL ugh I'm so done with artifact farming.
Now in the 3.7 update poor Yoimiya have banner with Yae Miko and having Kazuha & Alhaitham in the phase 2...

For me, it was the opposite for Yoimiya. I got her on her first banner, skipped Raiden for Kokomi, and with the Thundering Pulse and A Thousand Floating Dreams banner I now have both her and her weapon alongside Nahida's Weapon.
I'am someone who rolled on keqings banner, and i have not regretted it once and still use her to this day
I'm actually pretty happy I got Yoimiya on her first banner đ I adored her personality and I love her kit. It's a lot of fun!

I got c2 Yoimiya on that banner, working my way to c6 lol. I want a machine gun
* Every character in a new region will require the same two materials. (Handguards and specters, mushrooms mushrooms mushrooms...)
* Any time you want to do a new quest, you'll be locked out of it by some minor character being tied up in a long, tedious quest you have no interest in finishing first. (I had FOUR characters blocking me from finishing the Sumeru archon quest.)
* The best events seem to happen at the same time new permanent content is dropped. Maybe that's not a problem, per se, but after burning through all the content in the game back during Dragonspine, I've conditioned myself to not play Genshin for long hours per day...which is probably why I have so many unfinished quests.
* The dendroculus you're looking for will always be below ground.
* Spiral Abyss will always transition away from whatever time-sucking boss you hate most to something that is somehow even worse. (Maguu Kenki to PMA to Ruin Snake to Golden Wolflord...and let's throw some cubes in for good measure.)
* Spiral Abyss will also always feature the bosses you've never had any reason to fight in the overworld. (I'm up to like 7 bosses now that I first encountered in Spiral Abyss.)
* If you reset once in Spiral Abyss, you will always need to reset a second time because you started immediately and Xingqiu's E is still on cooldown.
* Enemies will never attack you when Beidou is trying to counterattack. (I assume this holds for Yun Jin and Candace as well.)
* Rosaria will always get her chest nerfed.

The Yoimiya Principle as I call it (All Yoimiya rerun banners must compete with short characters) makes perfect sense. She likes kids and both her reruns have had to compete with kid sized characters (Klee and Nahida). Heck her first Banner had a shorty in it (Sayu). So glad I got her the first time around

Yoimiyaâs first rerun 2.8 had actually quite high sales revenue numbers. She even surpassed Ittoâs first and second rerun sales, not even Tighnari had this high sales revenue. Which is very impressive. And about Yoimiya being âsandwiched â.... Yelan, who just came one patch before Kazuha had the second highest sales after Raiden. People knew Kazuha would come for real this time ans still dumped their primos and money on her. And Yae Miko had kinda average sales despite her being hyped up for so long. On Yoimiyas release no one could have predicted that people would had chosen Ayaka over her. People will choose the characters they love more despite the placements in banners. đ€·đœââïž
To be honest, I donât regret getting yoimiya during the golden apple archipelago cause not only was the next 5 star dendro character tighnari (who I got anyway) but also yoimiya is one of my favorite characters, so I donât regret it. Basically roll who you want (even if you only want them cause of meta), if you want that character roll for them. The longer you wait, the harder it is going to get them (unless theyâre a standard banner character). For me, the next character Iâm getting is yelan who Iâm garenteed for thanks to tighnari. :))
I feel that artifact one. I got Itto instead of Wanderer, and then I get a PERFECT Anemo DMG Goblet, on the Husk Set.

I got Yoimiya in 2.8 by accident. I'm a f2p person that was just pulling on her banner for fun and won a 50/50 by mistake. She's my strongest character and I love her so much
I may be crazy but I went for yoimiya rerun when nahida got released cause I was returning to the game after months and was unfamiliar to nahida but knew yoimiya however lost the 50 50 to keqing đą
I was so glad to get Kazuha on his original banner because I could just save and get Yoimiya at last on her first rerun. A bit sad I couldn't go for Heizou or Kazuha cons but there'll be more chances. It gave me a lot of peace of mind during the Nahida banner to finally have her. But god, it's so damn awful how they're doing her so dirty.
Another thing that's a bit of a meme is how the DPS male characters seem to be also Hoyo's random filler banners for reruns. It used to be Childe the one who got memed earlier on, but now Xiao and Itto seem to be getting the end of that stick. How Xiao got degraded to that position when it took him a literal year to rerun the first time, while the exact opposite happened to Childe, is one hell of an arc
Yeah I can totally relate being a Yoimiya wanter on her getting shaftedâŠ.cuz her banners are poorly timed. Like itâs either with a character I want or I am saving up for someone else when she shows up. Also the pain of getting more crit stats on the Ocean hued clam set when I want HP is too real.

I accidentally got Yoimiya on my alt account during patch 2.8. I was shocked because I literally got klee (also accidentally) the previous banner. But I don't regret it because she's now my main on that accountđ§Ą

I have my main account where I can pull for characters I REALLY want and I have an alt account to have fun with characters that I don't have on my mainđ
i rolled for yoimiya when she first apeared and i absolutely do not regret that and i'm a proud yoimiya main since then

Got Yoimiya first time around. Never got around to really building her up, but I do use her fairly regularly.
And I pulled for Yoimiya in all of them (got c0 first time, still on c0, planning on c6 her)
I got my first Keqing from her banner on like the 2nd pull, ever since then i've only lost 50/50s to her twice

I was someone who wasn't interested in Yoimiya at the beginning. I was actually rolling on her banner to get Sayu at the time because I wanted an Anemo healer. (she obviously didn't come home but Yoimiya did). I didn't level her for the longest time until I told my friend to randomly pick a non Electro unit to level since I mained Razor and he was my best geared character with Kazuha being my 2nd best.
He chose Yoimiya and I've slowly built her up with an R2 Rust for the longest time. I really, really want more cons for Yoimiya, but like stated, Hoyoverse just dooms her to be placed between more desirable banners. I saved for half a year to get c3 Kazuha, and then was saving for Cyno since then. Then again Nahida was a pull because I wanted a dendro for Cyno. While i couldn't pull for her directly I did end up getting lucky and pulled her bow.
I love Yoimiya, and I do plan to get her constellations eventually. I chose her as my pyro unit and I'm gonna stick with her.
I got Yoi on her banner before the Sumeru one and ended up getting her weapon on the sumeru one together with Nahida. At the time i got her i was Ar 43 and hadn't built a single character nor had played a single domain for artifacts or anything really. She was the first character i had the courage to build and she's been my carry ever since
As someone who just recently hit Inazuma and just finished Yoimiya's quest, I really hope she comes back soon because, regardless of who she's running alongside, I will gladly whale for her. Her toolkit fits my playstyle perfectly.
I always wanted Yoimiya and never had the gems to pull for her due to the competition. Some day, I'll get her...!

well since you asked. I did roll on keqing banner and got her then and I have since only gotten her once. And that was pretty recent so nope I don't regret it at all!

I got a Cryo dmg Cup on the Blizzard Strayer set with Crit dmg as a sub stat! So of course i +20 it and it rolled ONLY into flat Hp and Energy recharge... i never felt so dead inside...đ
I remember someone in 1.3 pulled Keqing banner for Bennet, poor guy got 3 Keqings before his first Benny and he wanted him C1

When i started the game, got Yoimiya in her first banner at 20 pity. And i was basicly looking at her while my game was downloading so i kinda fell in love with her.
I think the desire sensor is more of a thing than people think. My best artifacts have been when I was muttering under my breath "not crit" and then I get an on set sands with the right main stat 45.1 cv starting on 3 lines.
6:55 that hit home especially since i got a clam crit rate circulate with ER attack% defense% and 30% crit damage, i use it on Itto but still my husk pieces are ass
I know that feeling, the ocean heal bonus circlet I got, crit rate/DMG, em and, flat def. My best piece my Kokomi has is an off-piece flower with like 30% hp
Rolled for Keqing on her surprise banner, don't use her much but never regretted it either
I've never gotten anything good from the blizzard strayer/heart of depth sets, although I do have a full VV EM set for Kazuha and a DEF% husk set for Albedo.
As someone who saved up since release week and first pulled on the keqing banner, I regret nothing. I got her mistsplitter and opulent splendor (the outfit) too. Ever since then only got her one more time so she's C1.
I got Homa in the Elegy of the End banner and I lost twice and had to roll until like the highest pity you can get - I actually lost my should somewhere in that banner idk it's still floating around there somewhere
Now she is overshadowed by Kaz whom has a rerun banner very soon...if I did not already have so many main DPS characters she would be an enticing pull. She deserves so much more...
@the Keqing thing, yes. I pulled the banner because every rate up was a desired one, but now, I have her basically at C8. If I had been more patient, I would've had her at C6, because I got 2 constellations from her rate-up. Yet I still don't have Tighnari, and only have C0 for Mona and Jean after being a spending release player, so that's fun.
As someone who rolled for Keqing on her banner, it's like 50% regret because I could've had hu tao a lot earlier & 50% satisfaction since she's one of my favorite units to use. I've gotten 2 constellations for her so far, but I'm still p happy that I got to use her a lot earlier
wavebreaker fin's "not that exciting?" it's just the best non-5 star polearm in the game. it's so good that the fact i have it at R4 made me not even want homa much at all anymore. it's like the best consolation prize ever for shooting so many wishes into the redhorn banner. much happier about r4 fin than the stupid r3 wanderer's bell i got alongside with my 3 final redhorns (yep, i have an r5 redhorn and another one at r0. what did it cost me? a whole year worth of wishes. do i regret it? lol no.)

I have Yoimiya, having obtained her on her rerun banner alongside Nahida - this was the first time she's been available since I started using the wish mechanic (I went through Mondstat first, on the presumption that anybody the game goes to the trouble of giving me is worth becoming used to and I'd rather meet new characters through the story anyway). I cannot say that I've ever spent money to get a character, since I've done the math and realize my income sucks far too much to make this a sensible investment compared to things like food and rent. I do buy welkins, and will pull for any character I don't have when I can.
In other words, I do have Yoimiya but I haven't contributed to the banner sales of any character, and I'm not ashamed of this.
One that I have: I have two teams that always do a perfect run of the spiral abyss no matter the modifiers. Figured I would save up and C6/R5 as much as I can. Every re-run they have always has a new character I was looking forward to.
To answer the Keqing question I absolutely DID NOT regret it âșïžâșïžâșïž I loved Keqing to death at the time and I got up to 80 pity on her banner and even though i was disappointed she didnât come home I got Venti the moment I woke up so I have her to thank for that
0:47 definitely regret pulling keqing on her banner, was quite a new player back then and pulled her just for the sake of wishing. Fast forward today i have c4 keqing and have lost many 5050s on the characters i really wanted.

Dont be like me who got burned out getting Ayaka has always regreted not powering through and getting Yomiya everytime she reruns next to an unskipable character it hurts even more. I pushed myself so hard on Kazhua and Nahidas banners to get both them and Yomiya and failed twice.
If anything , Yoimia is a beacon of "pay attention to the other banners if I am in a banner"
