Any advice for who to wish for, I just started playing 2 weeks ago, AR 35, got 83 wishes saved up and currently using electro Traveler, Bennett, Xingqiu, and Xiangling for my squad
@@smithy3950 off field damage dealers are ALWAYS useful. Been playing since the beginning and they are my favorite. You can build a party just using them.

Good video but as a PSA for new players: let it be known that if you're pulling on the weapon banner and you lose "50/50", there's still a chance that you can end up with one of the standard banner weapons instead of Homa/Aqua (until you get enough fate points).
Keep in mind once you get a weapon that isn’t on the banner, the next one will be guaranteed to be homa/aqua- you can’t get two off-banner weapons in a row

RULE: Dont pull for weapons or constalltions if ur not a whale player. Its much more fun to get characters than some small stat increase

At c0, Yelan applies less hydro than a c6 Xingqiu but that is fixed if you have her c2.

An actual fact that Yelan cannot apply enough hydro reactions unless you literally get her to c2 or play double hydro... And if we're gonna use anecdotes, then I've had her since release and aside minor ER issue at c0. She was nowhere near Xingqiu c6 in creating blooms and risky in Vap hutao team where she ends up vaping when on her own at c0. The literal solution was to add an additional hydro to the team where its application is needed the most (bloom and vap), hence... Low hydro application.
I was gonna admit that I was being mean but I'll take being toxic over being scummy and giving ppl blatant misinformation because you couldn't help being that down bad...

I was gonna pull on Hu Tao at first because her C1 is just such a gamechanger but since I dont really play Hu Tao right now Yelan is the better option. Also because she's overall beneficial for my account (or any account tbh).
She's also way more f2p friendly if you're new to the game or dont have a lot of weapons to offer.
The goal is to C6 her someday. Yelan and raiden are the only 5* character that never get benched exploration/domains.

Won 50/50 on her first banner, got her bow at 14 pity. She's a core character on my account. One thing you forgot to mention is that one of her passive talents gradually increases the active characters damage up to 50% when Yelan's burst is active.

I originally skipped her for Kazuha’s rerun but now I am ready for her! Her gameplay is so fun and versatile also I am still completing Inazuma so she will be much easier to build compared to Al Haitham if I got him now.

Yelan is great with Kokomi as well, they both get buffed with Hp hydro resonance and complement each other quite well in hyperbloom tankybteams with Nahida and Fishcl😅

opinions on Yelan + Alhaitham? I've recently come back and i'm pretty much starting from scratch, I am on AR 35, have a c0 alhaitham with his BIS weapon and yaoyao + xingqiu as support with Lisa to proc hyperbloom. Is replacing xinqiu? (c0 btw) worth pulling yelan or should I just focus on alhaitham + supports, and eventually get a replacement for lisa? I do have fischl but she's literally lvl 1... it's kind of a big investment for me to get her to lvl 50/60 ish to where she is useful...

Tip: Disperse the first two oozes then wait until the ruin serpent gathers the dark energy from the remaining 2 oozes that are close together then disperse it with your luminescent stone and then it goes down and that's when you attack. Should only take about 2 takedowns. No longer than 3 mins I think?
To stun the Ruin noodle you only have to destroy 2 of These black mud clumps so Just destroy the 2 closest and youll be fine
Also If you have lumenspear energy Problems: when teleporting to the fight equip the Lumen spear, unequip it when fully charged, start the Fight and equip it again, that way you don't loose energy
I pulled for hu tao then for Yelan and i won 50/50 for her i'm SO GLAD that i pulled for Yelan she is really flexible in a lot of teams and her dmg/desing are good too
so i lost my 50 50 to jean on the first day of her banner this time at 80 pity. so i played my mind of every single day and got her just yesterday (2 hours before banner changed) at 85 pity. no regrets. i'm absolutely loving her

I used to main fischl until I got yelan just last night, I literally loved her she’s so pretty dude I love hu Tao and got her on my phone but on my ps4 I pulled 7 times and got her on a 50/50 at 78 pity! I gave her the sacrificial bow, she’s quite good, i have hardly any good domains. I’m now trying to get her bow now, I can make use of either staff of homa or her bow, i got c5 xingqiu on my phone and I mean I prefer yelans gameplay so much more. Although I need to do so many quests to ascend her for the boss. I have level 50 fischl cuz I used to main her as I mentioned I’m at 29 and they are so well together, especially with xiangling.I don’t regret pulling her that much. Considering the fact I like her gameplay a lot more than xingqiu’s she can apply hydro quite well. And overall I really love her and her animations.
I already have a copy of her but I really wanna get C1 for more running and easier energy.

Already got c6 xingqiu who tbh I rarely even use outside of national(raiden/childe/ayato/kazuha) so I'm not going for yelan right now but the weapon banner instead. Either my xiao/xiangling or my childe/tighnari will be very happy. If I manage to build another spiral abyss team that needs a 2nd xingqiu, then I'll pull for her on her following rerun. In the meantime I'll be collecting good hp% eosf pieces.

I believe that ruin serpent is easy to fight and yelan is very easy to build if you're farming artifacts for Raiden

Well, I got her on her first banner at 60 pity on the 50/50.
Ofc I never got Itto afterwards. But I dont regret my gambling addiction moment. She is soo fun to play with.
I couldnt bench her off my team. So easy to build and deals plenty of damage. Careful you might also have too much fun playing with her.

I literally pulled her after watching this video got her at 78 pity and won the 50/50. So happy as she was my first five star.
I was saving for Ayaka, Kokomi and Zhongli, I had abou 280 wishes saved. I was only intending of pulling 10 times, but I need up pulling around 25......and got Mona.
Instead of cutting my losses and keeping the guarantee, I ended up pulling 60 more times to get her, leaving me with only one guarantee (180 wishes for 3 characters).
I NEEDED to know that my lack of self control was worth it.
How I deal with the ruin Serpent boss:
Bring Yanfei, Kokomi, Raiden, and whoever I feel like. And then just chill in the middle of the whirlpool of death while throwing fireballs with Raiden's E-Skill running.
cause Kokomi's healing is broken, Yanfei's normal attack fireballs track through floors, and Raiden's E-Skill turns those fireballs into bombs that do damage through the floor.

Yelan’s boss becomes trivial with Alhaitham quicken. I killed it in 10 seconds every time
