Lyney 's banner is here and in this video, I rolled for the Lyney and tried to become the BEST Lyney Main challenging myself to complete a difficult task! BTW, I also I will offer you my completely biased points on why I like Lyney, and talk about his pros and cons. So, enjoy this copium ramble about my pyro boy, Lyney!

Lyney really out twinked everyone in Genshin
He's actually pretty f2p friendly , one of his best 4* star bow is Hamayumi , a really easy refined weapon. Also you don't have to use kazuha on him if you got Zhongli instead. (And no it's not a dmg decrease since your Lyney will deal more CA overtimes. Just don't put any useless EM piece on him and Xiangling.
i actually went for full comfort and changed kazuha for sucrose and xiangling for tankfei so i dont gotta get as close to the enemies and can aim in peace (i have no mouse, i cant fkn aim properly) and it still works so yeah, that's an EXTRA f2p option lol
hamayumi actually isn't great on him, because in order to keep up hamayumi's passive, you'd want to never use your burst, and lyney's burst is a pretty good chunk of his damage. prototype crescent can be just as good as long as you aim for weak spots. you're definitely right about him being f2p friendly though, cause you can get xiangling for free from abyss and you can get a bennett through the current event.
@@pooprock2496 another good bow is song of stillness (the fontiane craftable) because he loses hp on charge attacks (and have bennett for healing)

Lyney is basically pyro Eula (no crits at 90%)
I was surprised he actually crits with 60% but not 90%
When I first heard that Lyney was pyro charge shot dps (from leaks) before we knew he was mono pyro I was really concerned because our best off field hydro applicators are not optimal for him. As a mono Klee user at times and who also has Hutao and Yoimiya, I still wanted him and got him but was not expecting this much. He is so strong and very fun to play. Plus he brings entertainment because even on videos where it shows him compared to Hutao and Ganyu people just say he is far weaker in comments even though the videos show otherwise.
The funny thing is alot of them doesnt even own him lmao. The denial is real and funny to see.
@@Kouku04 yeah like to be in such denial when the evidence is right in front of them they can literally see it from the videos they comment on. Imagine being so angry that a new character is either equal to or better then your fav. Ganyu and Hutao have been able to consistantly clear content so even if a character is better or equal to them, it does not make them useless, but they get even angrier that the character is male. They ask for proof/calculations that Lyney is not trash but if they look at his multipliers or passives it is right there, a 100% damage bonus for mon pyro and a burst multiplier higher then Hutao's. And you can look at his multipliers without even having him. They should be anrgy that dendro powercrept their favs not Lyney because that is even more real.
Thank goodness you guys also notice this the hating is so brutal that someone can easily get on here and say yeah hes not that good WITHOUT EVEN OWNING HIM but just to throw shade on a charecter just because emotional reasons like they spent alot on c6'ing lets say a ganyu so they get mad when they start seeing how huge numbers he pumps out lmao its just crazy thats why these comment sections have to take them with a grain of salt people cause some of the oh yeah hes not that great can be coming from someone who just hating on the charecter
@@josecharneco yoimiya got similar treatment because she was a Hutao and Ganyu competitor due to her element and weapon type. Saying she is weak because she has no AOE, yet there are times in the abyss higher chambers when you will have a big boss or maybe less then 4 enemies in a chamber if so Yoimiya can do well and in single target can even out do them. Though Lyney gets it worse because he is a guy. Many Ganyu/Hutao simps are saying Lyney is worse because he has no AOE, sure his charge shot has no AOE but his burst is a huge nuke with higher multiplier then Hutao plus his 100% bonus damage is meant to help him overcome lack of reactions. I can pretty much spam Lyney;s burst every rotation along with his AOE skill and charge shot damage so he actually has decent AOE plus if you use Xiangling she can also help with AOE but even without her he is still quite good. Due to many showcases showing comparisons against a single target enemy those who don't have Lyney can't see that he has AOE so they make assumptions.
Lyney really wants those max Prop Surplus stacks for max dmg😆

@@Dariox29 what's her talent level and her artifact..ganyu is really strong..her raw charge shot hits around 28-30k something..with some melt...it hits around around 80k and with full support (Bennett/kazuha/sucrose) 100k plus...
@@soujiokita6062 Ye ik, im not saying that Ganyu is bad just that i need better artifacts and weapon. I will probably pull for amos in her next rerun. For now with some support my ganyu does around 40-50k

It pisse me off because for years, games were developped by men for men (more female chars, more female skins, sexualized bodies etc..) But people should understand that it is not the case anymore !! Everything is not about male pleasure and your waifu so the complaining ones should really stfu. When it is about a very VERY sexualized female chars, with bo*bies overflowing (aka Raiden) there is not problem, but when it is about a charismatic male chars, they are complaining !!! Developpers include more and more mal chars for their feminine audience because we want our husbando too ! Enough is enough ! Lyney is not feminine at all, he is elegant, charismatic and it's fit perfectly to his lore. Neuvilette, Lyney, Freminet and Wriothesley : these are characters that will appeal more to feminine audience so I'm really glad that male pleasure is not in the center anymore in games. There are still more female chars, more female skins and archons in Genshin but I appreciate the effort from developpers.
