Good info but really marginal camera work.thank you for the video
It's like an ASMR video gone terribly wrong. 😂
Thanks Dude. Super helpful!
You're welcome, thx for watching.
OMG, If this video was available back in october 2017. Haha. In my 2000 Exp the same happened but it has been two years and not any problem. I love the channel. Keep the good work.
Thank you!
Exelente video me ayudo mucho con mi expedition 98 👌👌

How do I change the window cable for 2002 ford expedition Eddie Bauer
I’m trying to figure out where to get that replacement part that you used. I didn’t hear you call it by part name or where to get it from. I showed your video to the guys at Orileys and Autozone and nobody knew what it’s called. Please tell me where you got it from and what is it called. I have that same exact situation going on with my Expedition. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks for explaining the process.
There should be a link to the part in the description, but here it is:

My issue is the tailgate handle is extremely stiff and hard to turn both ways. We tried oiling it up, helped a little, but just not sure if I have to replace just the handle or the whole assembly.
2020 expedition max was tow pulling vehicle with chain and now lift gate won't open or even click to unlock when remote is pressed twice
My outer handle is different on my Lincoln Navigator 06.
Wondering if this part would fit..?
I think that it will. These fit many Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury models.
Can you provide a bit more detail on attaching the new aluminum ends to the cable? Did you crimp it at all or is it just a friction fit? I think this is why my 2004 Explorer rear window doesn't open when I press the button. Thank you.
No crimping needed, just slip the cable into the end. You may need to sand the outside of the cable casing a little bit, it is a snug fit.
What is that replacement part called and where do you get it? i am having the same problem with my expedition.
There is a link to it in the description
Was hoping it would be as easy as my F-150 tailgate that I always had to put zip ties on I don't guess zip ties will hold this
do you think I cut too much of the black cable I went a little further than what thought
Completely plausible. Make sure you check the other and too it might be broken.
@@TwoKeysStudio okay I'll try that out it was like a hundred degrees here I worked on it for 3 hours today I'm so be the other part seemed okay but we will shall see first thing in the morning when it's not so hot
Where do you get something like that?
There is a link to it on Amazon in the description. They work great!
Does it work on navigator?
It should, this is used on a lot of Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury cars/trucks.

What do you call that metal?
I used some scrap sheet metal that I had laying around and cut it using tin snips.
good input but overall not very good presentation
Could not see what was done! Bad camera work too.....others show this much better.
Ok.
