    OMG, If this video was available back in october 2017. Haha. In my 2000 Exp the same happened but it has been two years and not any problem. I love the channel. Keep the good work.

    I’m trying to figure out where to get that replacement part that you used. I didn’t hear you call it by part name or where to get it from. I showed your video to the guys at Orileys and Autozone and nobody knew what it’s called. Please tell me where you got it from and what is it called. I have that same exact situation going on with my Expedition. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks for explaining the process.

    My issue is the tailgate handle is extremely stiff and hard to turn both ways. We tried oiling it up, helped a little, but just not sure if I have to replace just the handle or the whole assembly.

    2020 expedition max was tow pulling vehicle with chain and now lift gate won't open or even click to unlock when remote is pressed twice

    My outer handle is different on my Lincoln Navigator 06.
    Wondering if this part would fit..?

    • @TwoKeysStudio
      @TwoKeysStudio  Před 4 lety +1

      I think that it will. These fit many Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury models.

    Can you provide a bit more detail on attaching the new aluminum ends to the cable? Did you crimp it at all or is it just a friction fit? I think this is why my 2004 Explorer rear window doesn't open when I press the button. Thank you.

    • @TwoKeysStudio
      @TwoKeysStudio  Před 3 lety +2

      No crimping needed, just slip the cable into the end. You may need to sand the outside of the cable casing a little bit, it is a snug fit.
